Raslan closed his eyes as he struggled to calm down and resist the urge to throw the nosey girl through a wall. "How about you go and mind your own damn business? I already told you, I'm not interested in anything you could possibly suggest." he told her force-ably. When he reopened his eyes he kept his gaze away from her, afraid that looking at her would crush his self control and he'd end up hurting her.

Faras drew back in suprise and to her amazement hurt. Then instantly rolled her eyes and huffed. Why would she feel hurt by some dumb man's words. She wouldn't. So instead she turned away from him with a glare. "You know, I'm just trying to help you out here. It's my job to bring passion to people's life. You should be greatful that I'm even offering you my assistance; you obviously seem very dull and lacking in erotic satisfaction. But don't mind me. I'm only freaking cupid what the hell do I know." Did she sound a bit defensive? She was sure if was just because she was hurt that he was questioning her ability to do her job. Of course.
"I'll just see you later, Sabine." Faras called to the vampire bartended, then turned and hopped off the stool. She stood there a moment in silence, hating how angry he had truely made her. Needing to take out some emotion she pulled all of her arrows out and strung them at the same time, then shot them out across the room and watched in satisfaction as everyone in the club engaged in dirty behavior.
With a nod of triumph she walked out of the club, past the bouncer who was busy pawing over some tall brunette in a miniskirt and back into the warm night air. Now what the hell was she going to do?

Raslan listened to her walk off and shook his head slowly. His first day in the city wasn't working out at all as he'd planned. Raslan had moved there to get away from his past and within a few hours he got it shoved in his face unknowingly by a short blonde cupid. He stayed at the bar for about another hour, drinking and ignoring the horny girls who kept begging him to hang out with them.
Fed up with all the stupid females Raslan walked out of the club and headed back to the hotel he was currently staying at. It didn't take him very long to get there and after some debate he changed into swim trunks and went downto the hotel's swimming pool. He was alone so Raslan tried to relax and just hang out in the water but he was still much too angry. At least it was unlikely he'd ever see thea nnoying female again.

Bored with the mortal realm Faras flashed herself back to Olympus, appearing in a gardened section of the Elysian fields. This was her favorite place to relax, everything was just so calm and quiet, and she didn't have to deal with all of th eother annoying gods seeings as mostly souls of the dead roamed the fields. Yet as she looked up and saw Zeus standing before her she cringed inward and lowere dher gaze, wondering what the father of the god's would be doing waiting for her here.
"Faras." He said in that gruff commanding tone of his and she looked up at the blonde god before her. Being Cupid she was unable to keep herself from admiring his attractivness, and thinking of all possible ways to set him up with yet anotherh attractive mortal. It was a secret between the two of them. Zeus came to her often, wanting her to shoot her arrow on some poor unsuspecting mortal so they would feel lust for him. Faras wasn't really sure why he needed her arrows, the man was a hottie after all. Still, he seemed dead set on using her so she wasn't one to question the authority of the father of the god's. Especially when he had power over her.
"What can I do you for, pops?" She asked, using her familiar nickname. Though they were in no way related she still like to refer to him as her father, seeing as she had never known her own.
Zeus approached her slowly, his gaze stern which made Faras very uneasy.
"It seems you have had some trouble understanding the fundimentals of your role."
Faras frowned. "Um..no, I think I'm good."
"Really? Then please, explain to me what it is you are meant to do."
Faras twitched nervously, not liking this conversation at all. "You know...bring passion in peoples lives."
Zeus watched her a moment in silence before shaking his head. "No. You are suppose to bring love in peoples lives."
Faras controlled the urge to roll her eyes. "Passion, love. Same thing."
"No, not at all, Faras."
Faras sighed with a shrug. "Fine. I'm suppose to bring love to peoples lives. What of it."
"Tell me..how many people have you made fall in love, Faras?"
She drew back with a cringe, knowing the answer to that.
Zip. Zilch. Nada.
But she couldnt very well tell him that.
"Quite a few I might say."
Zeus cocked his head. "Really?"
Faras knew it was a mistake to have lied right away. How could she had thought that the father of the god's wouldn't realize she wasn't telling the truth.
"Faras I don't like doing this, I have always enjoyed yourr company."
Enjoyed how I make mortals lusts after you, more likely. She thought to herself but didn't dare say it.
"Then don't." She instead said simply.
"I'm sorry, too many are coplaining about how you are handleing things. There is no other way."
"Wait...what are you talking about."
Suddenly there was a lifting weight on her shoulders and Faras turned and stared in shock at where her wings and bow and arrows had once been. "What.."
"I am banishing you to live as a mortal until you can make two people fall truely in love. You will not have any powers to help you. You'll have to live as a mortal until you have completed this feat; only then may you return."
Faras stared in utter astonishment. "You can't be serious!" She barked.
"I have been watching you tonight and have chosen the mortals you are to make fall in love. Sabine the vampire bartender, and the man you were talking to tonight. The one that so rudely tried to ignore you."
Faras felt her jaw drop. "Please tell me you're joking!" Before she could protest furthur suddenly she was standing in the streets of the mortal realm, staring at the traffic as it passed. "You've got to be kidding me!" She screamed, stomping her feet in anger.
This really couldn't gt any worse.
A heavy downpour of rain struck the skies.
Maybe she spoke too soon.

Raslan gave up his relaxation attempts after only a few minutes and went back to his room to change. Once he was in real clothes again he grabbed a jacket and climbed the stairs up to the roof of the hotel. He sat on the ledge away from the street so the humans wouldn't think he was a suicide jumper. The rain and the wind didn't bother him much. Living in a mountain helped one build up a temperment to the weather.
Being as high as he was, despite the rain and the wind, relaxed Raslan more then anything else had. It felt more natural and made him wish he could shift into his true form. He wasn't sure how long he sat there, waiting for a feeeling that wasn't going to come. "Eva...." he sighed mournfully. A hundred years had come and gone and still he mourned his wife with all his heart. He knew he had to move on but did not know how.

Faras stomped her way back to teh only place she could think to go. Back to The Dungeon. Ignoring the bouncer she strode in and walked with a murderous glare to the bar, where Sabine was pulling on a jacket and getting ready to quit her shift.
As she turned around and saw Faras standing there soaking wet she drew back in suprise. "What the hell happened to you. Hey, you're missing the rest of your costume, by the way."
Faras threw up her hands and stomped her foot. "It's not a costume dammit! I AM Cupid!"
Sabine arched a brow before nodding slowly. "Sure you are honey. Okay I'm leaving now."
Faras jumped in her path with wide pleading eyes. "I need a place to stay."
Sabine held her hands up to ward her off. "Oh no, I don't thinks so."
Faras pouted and hurried after her as she made her way out the club. "You don't understand! I've been banished from Olympus! I have nowhere to go!! You don't want me to freeze out here do you?!"
Sabine cast her a sigh. "If you ARE Cupid, that would mean you're a goddess right? Can't you just like..I don't know, make it stop raining?"
"I would, but Zeus took my powers as part of my punishment." Faras pouted, drawing her arms tight around herself. "I've never been so cold in my life. My teeth are beginning to chatter! Do you hear them!!"
Sabine turned to her with another sigh. Simply stareing at her a moment before rolling her eyes. "Look, it's not that I have anything against you...I'm just...not the best room mate."
"Because you're a vampire? It's okay I already know."
Sabine's wide eyes swung to her in suprise. "How.."
Faras rolled here eyes. "HELLO..goddess...all knowing..."
Sabine stared at her a bit longer before shaking her head. "Look, I know you're not a goddess. But.."
"But?" Faras asked with a hopeful grin.
The bartender sighed. "But you look like a wet poodle and it's making me feel sorry for you. So you can crash for the night. Don't worry I won't bite."
Faras laughed loudly. "Oh. Humerous. There's hope for you yet."
"Oh no. There will be none of that match making shit." Sabine said as she hailed a cab and they jumped in as it carried them to Sabine's appartment complex.
Faras stumbled out of the car behind her and ran for the cover of the building, jumping up and down trying to bring some warmth back to her bones.
"But you have so much potential. If we just dressed you a bit more scheming seductress and not so much 'I was raised in an all male family' then you could-"
"I said none of that!" Sabine bit out agian before walking up the steps to her apartment. Opening the door she stepped aside so Faras could enter before following herself and turning on the light. "I swear I must have gone completely insane, just letting anyone in here."
"It's not like you can't defend yourself if I turn out to be a crazy axe murdurer." Faras said with a shrug, crying out in bliss as she saw a blanket hanging on the back of a chair and wrapped it around herself.
"Look, the sun's going to be up soon so I'm going to crash. That alright?"
Faras shrugged. "It's alright. I'm gonna raid you're fridge if you don't mind."
Sabine gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry, vampire...no food...ya know?"
Faras moaned and leaned against the wall. "Well..I guess I'll just have to go get me something to eat then."
Sabine shrugged and left her to enter her bedroom, leaving Faras to throw down the blanket with a moan and walk back to the door. She was leaving teh apartment wondering how she was suppose to pay for food when she had no money when she had the overwhelming sensation to turn the other direction and take the flight of stairs to the left.
Glancing curiously towards them she shrugged and walked to the steps, taking them all the way to the top and opening a steel door to find herself on the roof of the building.
Wondering why she had wanted to come up here she stepped back out into the rain and hissed in displeasure as the hard droplets hit her again.

Raslan turned his head quickly at the sound of the hiss, wondering who else would be crazy enough to stand on a roof in the middle of a storm. His eyes narrowed when he saw the blonde hair. Was she following him for some reason? "Where did your wings go?" he called out over the pounding of the rain. He didn't move from his spot on the ledge.

Faras let out a little squeel of suprise and jumped about three feet in the air. Jerking around she held her fist up and looked with a narrowed gaze through the storm.
Could it be? Inching forward she cried out in happy astonishment when she realized that it was the guy from the bar. The guy she was suppose to make fall in love.
"Don't tell me you live here." She said, unable to believe that she could have gotten that lucky. She frowned then and cocked her head. "Well, not on the roof of course, but in the apartment building that is."

"You didn't answer my question, which I think is a little more important then where I'm staying." he pointed out. Raslan was a little concerned by how happy she seemed to be to see him, especially after he had pissed her off back at the club. "I'm staying in a hotel." he answered. "I just moved here so I'm not 'living' anywhere yet."

Faras pouted. It would have been much easier if both her victims lived under the same roof. Then she scoffed at his words. "Ew. Gross. Hotel? How do you sleep on those sheets." She walked towards him and perched up on the side of the building. "Don't you worry about what may have been there before? I mean you can catch all kinds of things from hotel beds. I actually watched a program about it once. This man got this major nasty rash that got all pussy and had to have his leg cut off!" She nodded with wide eyes. "You don't want to have to get your leg cut off do you? That would really suck I think. I mean...a leg is kind of a necessity. Kind of hard to attract the opposite sex when your hopping around, am I right?" She asked with a grin, completely oblivious to the fact that she was blabbering.

Raslan just stared at her for a few minutes after she was down with her rambling. "Do you ever actually think about what you're going to say before you say it?" he asked, looking honestly curious. "And no, I don't worry about catching anything from the hotel sheets. I'm not exactly staying in some grungy motel off the highway. It's a very nice room with very nice clean sheets. Having both legs is a necessity but for more important reasons then the one you gave. Wheere did your wings go?"

Faras shrugged nonchulantly, brushing at her wet hair which was sticking to her face. "Just because the hotel is high class doesn't mean that some man who was there before didn't maybe purchase a hooker. A hooker who could have had all kinds of diseases. He could have then slept with her and the maid, who could have been a big slacker that day because she hadn't had her daily dose of caffinee forgot to change the sheets. The very sheets that you slide in naked at night..." She drew off then, her eyes glazing slightly. "Sorry, just got a mental image there." She said with a michevious grin. "And I was banished from Olympus to live on Earth as a mortal until I can prove myself worthy to return. So since I just explained how you could possibly be setting yourself up for getting AIDS wouldn't it be much better if you just..I don't know, got an apartment here?"

"You're a very pessimistic person. And as much as I appriciate your concern you don't have to worry, I'm immune to AIDS and whatnot. I don't plan on spending the rest of my life in the hotel room. I have not had a chance to go search for apartments yet." he explained in a dull voice. He laughed when she said she'd gotten banished from Olympus. "Zeus banished you!? How bad did you mess up your job?"

"I did not know you were Cupid... That explain quite a lot, mostly why you were banished from Olympus. but yes, I believe you." He was a griffin, of course he believed in the gods and whatnot.
