Tsura softly sucked in a breath as his hand touched her bare skin. Her eyes glazed over a moment before she swayed a bit, seeming almost drunk. "Vampire." She whispered as images of his past life flashed behind her eyes; crowds of men, old and young screaming and urging on they're choice horse, they're money clutched in they're hands and they're eyes eager for a win, stadiums packed full of awe filled men and women and they gazed down below at the american sport of baseball, a man standing on a stadium and speaking down at the masses of cheering onlookers, Tsura vaguely recognized him as Franklin Rooselvelt, and then the desperation and utter misery of the depression, it's despair practically robbing her of her breath.
Pulling herself from the visions before more came she jerked from his touch, her hands shaking slightly.

Shawn pulled away when she jerked from his grasp. He tilted his head to the side and looked at her clothed hands. "So...What did you see?" he asked, expression soft. "You must have saw something...Or are the gloves really just for show?" He inquired, taking a seat and crossing his legs. He seemed to accept that she couldn't be touched without seeing something. Now he just wanted to know what or who it was she saw.

Tsura grabbed a bottle of water and took a deep swig. "Quite nosy aren't you?" She asked, but understood. If someone had just tapped into her past she'd want to know what they had saw as well. "Nothing personal. Just the era that you lived in. I'm guessing in the nineteen thirties. I saw a lot of gambling and baseball. Not to mention Franklin Roosenvelt." She screwed the cap back on her bottle. "And the gloves are just a precaution. It doesn't happen all the time, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. You have no idea how unsettling it feels to go plummeting head first into someone's memories."

Shawn chuckled and nodded at what she saw. "Yup. Gambling, my dad was into that big time," he murmured. He remembered watching his father pull out whatever cash he had and gamble it all away. Sometimes they'd win though, and they'd get something nice for dinner. Something with no mustard on it.
His eyes lit up a bit at her calling him nosy. "I am nosy," he agreed, smirking cockily. "Which is why saying having psychic abilities would be amazing. I know otherwise though, so I don't mean that comment," he informed her cheerfully and leaned back in the chair.
Shawn tilted his head to the side, his doe brown eyes glowing warmly. "You never answered my question, milady," he informed her with a wink. "Nor have I gotten your name. Surely a cherub like you would have a name to match, yes?"

Tsura couldn't help but smile. "I bet you used to get all the girls." She frowned then. Just because he was a vampire didn't mean he was actually dead. So she supposed he still got all the girls. "My name is Tsura; with a silent T. And if you're asking me, there's a really nice diner just down the street. Good place to grab a burger."

Shawn chuckled and stood. "Well, Tsura with a silent T, I'd like to go out to eat and grab a burger...I suppose," he agreed eagerly. He didn't eat burgers often, or real food often for that matter. "But first, what's the next circus act I should attend? What is your favorite?" he asked, keeping his hands to himself this time.

Tsura shook her head with a small laugh before looking up at him. "I'm trying to hint that you should take me over to the diner so I can grab a burger. I haven't ate all day. I'll fill you in on some more of the activities around her while I'm eating."

He arched an eyebrow. "You haven't eaten?" he mumbled and moved towards the opening in the tent. "You know, I hear that's unhealthy- the whole not eating thing," he mock-scolded her. Shawn held the flap open for her, giving him an excuse to look her over without being a complete asshole. She really was some sort of angel on earth...But she wasn't an angel.

Tsura smiled as she locked her tin box in a tiny safe beside her table before standing, wining from the soreness in her backside and lower back. "I've been sitting far too long." She mumbled before moving towards him and glancing at him from the corner of her eyes. "So if I go with you you're not going to try to do that mind thing on me and suck my blood are you?"

"Mind thing...Mind thing?" he asked, pretending he didn't know. "Well, I can't say I won't try to bite you, but I won't do any mind things." Shawn moved beside her and looked over her back, frowning. "Do you ever do stand-up readings?" he asked. "I mean...that way your back wont' hurt as much." Shawn smiled at her, eyes glowing with warmth.

She laughed before stepping out of her tent and into the night. "And then my feet will just hurt. I think I'd be more comfortable sitting. That way at least if someone accidentally touches me and I see something I'll be well and grounded." She yawned absently, stretching her arms above her head and trying to work out the cricks in her neck. "When it happens I usually get a little unsteady on my feet; I don't want to fall and bust my head on anything."

"True, but the unsteadiness would make you a really believable reader. I mean, lots of humans go to you for fun and sport, despite the fact you are genuine...Have you ever considered making your bit more dramatic to increase the amount of money you make?" he asked, simply curious. Shawn's smile fell a little as he waited to hear her answer.

Tsura shrugged. "While it's true that I'm most likely get more money, I don't think it would be worth it. It's not the most comfortable feeling when it happens. It's like I've been ripped from my body and thrown into that person's head." She paused before turning to him. "Have you ever spun round and round in circles so much? Well you know how when you fall down and the world is still spinning and you feel like you're not quite in you're own body. It's like that but ten times worse. That's why I wear gloves." She muttered as she walked towards the neon glow of the diner.

Shawn was silent after that. His eyes flickered over the bright, irksome lights of the diner. Why did they have to be so bright? He didn't understand, but didn't complain. He looked around and heard the pulses of almost all those around him. "I haven't spun around in a long time," he finally mumbled, a tiny smile playing up on his lips. "But you could fake fall too...keep the gloves and what not?"

Tsura laughed, reaching inside her purse and pulling out a pair of sun glasses before handing them to him. "There are a few vamps in the circus and even the dim lights of stores seem to bother them; so I know you are most likely the same. They may not be that manly, and may have a pink tint to them but I think they're better than nothing." She said with a laugh. "And I legit; so why do I have to do something so fake just to make a few more bucks when I'm going to make money regardless. I'd rather not cheat people, in any way."
