FF- 3 hours later
Darius arrived and was suprised to see a certain someone's twin sister. "Karin? We're closed today." he said and walked over to her. Valentine saw his sister and looked down guiltily. Karin glared at Darius. "And when were you going to tell me that you were a friend of my brother's?" she accused angrily. Darius scratched the back of his head, shrugged, and unlocked his shop. Karin glared at him, sighed, then glared at her brother. She walked over to him and smacked him. "And how come you haven't come home? Do you know how long it's been since we've seen each other?" she accused angrily. Valentine looked at the ground guiltily. "Sorry sis. How've you been?" he asked. Karin stopped glaring and hugged her brother. "Look at me when you're talking to me. I've been good. You didn't answer my question." Valentine gulped. "Just...sick of home life." he lied, but Karin believed it. "Okay. Who're your friends?" "Um...they'll introduce themselves..." he mumbled and looked at Pita, Canvas and Erit.

Pita waved. "I'm Pita."
Canvas smiled brightly. "Canvas."
Erit walked over to her and shook her hand. "I'm Erit."

Karin shook his hand and smiled at them. "Nice to meet you. Why are you all here?" Karin asked. "To visit my shop for some reason." Darius answered as he held the door open. Karin shot in and was gone. "...and she's off to the books..." Darius and Valentine muttered in unison. Blaze waved goodbye and left. "Later."

Pita laughed at the comment about Karin.
"Your sister is very beautiful." Erit said to Valentine.
Canvas scolded him in latin.

Valentine went into big brother mode instantly at Erit's comment. "Yeah...too bad she's not interested in dating. Shame isn't it? Such a smart, pretty girl who's happy going to waste for books. *false sigh of sadness*...Well, there's always other fish in the sea." Valentine said and walked in. Darius was making coffee.

Pita giggled. "That's a knee slapper."
Canvas slapped herself on the head. "Night angels."
"I think you mean the male species." Pita said.

Valentine wasn't around to hear what Erit and them had said. He was sipping some coffee. Karin had come downstairs and purchased some new books. She was already reading them.

Erit watched her. He smiled with memories. Pita looked around. "What does this say?"
Erit walked over to him. "Twilight."
"You know english?" Both Canvas and Pita asked.

Darius warily looked up. "Coffee anyone?" he asked from the counter. Karin raised her hand briefly and Darius brought her a frappachino.

The three night creatures didn't say anything. "How did you learn to read in english?" Canvas asked.
"I don't know. I just did." Erit shrugged.
"I don't know how you do it." Pita said.
"What?"
"Just learn things, right off the bat."
"I..." Erit started then stopped.

Karin glanced up. "Well go on. I'm listening now!" she stated. Valentine snickered and looked at his sister in a caring, yet 'you're a doofus' manner.

Erit was speechless. He did pick things up fast. "I..." he started again.
"Ha!" Pita shouted. "You do learn things fast. I read your emotions."
Canvas smiled at Erit. "How did you get lucky?"
"I don't know. I just met a lot of people." Erit said. "I just guess it was one of the gifts the goddess selene gave me."
Pita stopped laughing. "I thought you didn't believe that anything good came from the gods and goddesses."
"Isn't that something you'd say." Erit gained his arogance back.

Karin rolled her eyes and went back to reading. Valentine poked her. "Haven't you read that before?" "This is book 2." "Oh." Valentine rested his head lightly on the table and watched his sister read Eldest. Darius sat down next to Valentine. "Is it good?" "Yup." "Good."

"Knock it off." Pita said.
"Not so gleeful now, are we?" Erit smirked.
"Shut up." Canvas said. She walked over to Darius. "I like it here. It is calming, but I think I need to learn how to read in english, though."
Pita laughed. Erit smiled. Canvas said something in latin to them.
"Only you." Eritsaid in english and turned to Pita.
"Hey?" Pita said, then he converted to latin.
Erit laughed.

Karin muttered something in japanese then went upstairs to read. Valentine followed her. Darius smiled at Canvas. "Thank you. I can't teach english to you though-anger issues. Ask Erit seeing as how he knows." he replied.
