She thought once again, not as long as last time though. "I could beleive that you were from the future and that this is your body but I don't know about the whole thing about getitng together with each other. Now just forget about the memory, alright? That was like an hour ago almost..." Ice stated, she didn't want to speak about it anymore.

Darius nodded and looked away. They passed a fast food sign. "Hey, lets get something greasy to eat, okay?" he offered. He wasn't ordering her, she could decline. He just had a craving.

She thought for a moment, nodded and looked at the next sign that came up and took that direction, she was rather hungry to and wanted a burger or something to eat. "The drive-throu or no?" Ice asked curiously.

"No, lets go where we can be more easily spotted inside and get caught." he answered sarcastically with an eye roll, then thought again. "Though stretching our legs could be a good idea...How bout drive thru, then park somewhere inconspicious where we can walk around or something?" he compromised.

Stupid frigging son of a bit- "Alright, that's a fantastic idea." Ice replied through clenched teeth, she didn't know, he'd be calling her an idiot either way anyways which was even more stupid. Once she found the place she went through the drive-throu, ordered their stuff and then paid for it, she then went to go and find a more secluded park.

Darius waited to eat, holding the bag. He looked at her through the corner of his eyes, and felt remorse. "Sorry...We could have eaten inside if you wanted to...You could have just said no..." he apologized.

"No. I didn't want to, I wanted to know what you wanted to do since your the one i'm driving all the way over here to fucking Dakota." She snapped at him and got out of the truck, slamming the door and walking away over to sit on the grass under a tree. She stretched her legs out there, glaring at the ground in front of her.

Darius followed her to the tree and handed her the bag. "I'm sorry...I'm a control freak...A prick...An ass...Ect..." he apologized and sat down, waiting patiently to get his food. Damn...She's making me feel bad...How fucked up. he thought, frowning.

Shaking her head she got him his food, handed it to him and then grabbed him a napkin, giving that to him to. She grabbed out her burger, opened the wrapped and took a bite of the burger. She was silent as she ate. her head resting back against the tree trunk, she wasn't very happy. He didn't have to be mean to me, it was an honest mistake, i'm tired, i've been driving for almost a whole week, with this and being chased and all.

Darius ate in silence as well. He finished first though. "Can I do anything to make you happy?" he asked softly, looking guilty. The memories were intervening, but he was also genuinally getting attatched the her.

She finished after him and sighed to herself, looking at him she sighed softly. "Don't even bother, Darius. I'm going to go for a walk..." Ice said, she took the garbage and though it into the garbage can and then disappeared down a trail that lead down to a pond with ducks swimming leisurly in it.

DArius sighed. She was miserable. He laid down on his back and stared at the sky, counting stars and losing count. 20 years from now, those stars are almost impossible to see in the city... he thought, rolling over and looking at the grass.

Ice walked around the pond for a while and then walked away down the path again somewhere else. At some point she walked around the whole park and ended up back at where darius was laying on the ground, she felt better now. "Let's go, we need to get nother place to stay for the night." She stated to him, her eyes tired and her shoulders lazy.

Darius nodded and stood, silent, and followed her. He got in on his side and buckled up and waited to get to the motel room only to sit up all night. He stared at the road as they drove, silent and not bugging her.
