"Hey!" Kira replied brightly, holding out her hands. She tooks some groceries from him, putting them on her hip and heading toward the kitchen. "So where'd you run off too?" She asked, opening the fridge and starting to put things away. She spied a bag of blood, and groaned, sticking it on her fangs and continuing to put things into the fridge.

Deric grind at her action "it wasn't safe for me to be here" he answered quietly helping her put things away.

Finishing the bag, she yanked it off her teeth and threw it in the trash. "Where ever you went to, didn't treat you well either." She answered, nodding at his now skinny arm. "And you didn't answer me. Where'd you go?" She was now leaning on the counter, staring at him.

Deric blinked for a moment in thuoght "a safe place" he answered finaly the through was he realy had no idea, he knew he left the house and picked apart the city when he woke from hos blood lust he was skinny and his side was gashed open and he had 700$ in cash in his wallet.

Kira picked up on his thoughts, immediatly beside him, lifting up his shirt. "Deric!" She gasped, looking at the enormas wound there. "Gosh, couldn't you go get it stiched or something?" She immediatly turned rushing to the bathroom, and coming back with a kit.

Deric stood there claring that the open air Kira had just vanished from "Kira! i'm a Vamire! i can't do to a hospitel" then he contened to glair at her when she returned to treat the healing woond

"Well, you could have done SOMETHING!" Kira snapped back, now pulling a needle from the kit. She grabbed hold of Deric, pushing him into a chair. "Be still now." She replied, looking the wound over, before placing the needle on the table and cleaning it.

Kira grabbed hold of his arm. "Making sure it doesn't get infected and you get septic shock or something." She replied, picking up the needle. "You, be still, or I'll punch you in the gut." She warned. "You can take a little pain."

Deric's hand atomaticly went to his chest, then he froze and looked down and started frantically looking for something he thurly searched his neck then his pants pokets the finaly his belt around his waist there was a small bit of fabric attacked to it only large enough for a few dollar bills- or a locket. he emedietly calmed and caught his breath "thought i'd lost it" he grinned widely holding up Kira's locket by the chain.

Kira's gaze softened, the needle slipping from her hand, as she reached up and took the locket from his hands. "Deric... I didn't know you kept it." She replied, looking down at the locket. Opening it, the same green light glowed from within, it, and she smiled, touching it barely with her fingers. Her fingers immediatly started to glow and she closed the locket, looking at her fingers happily.

"You're distracting me." Kira replied, looking up at him. "Here, take this back." She looked at the wound and sighed, reaching up and taking out antiseptic ointment, and bandages. "If you're going to be such a wimp, I wont sew it up." With expericenced movements, she bandaged his wound quickly and percisly.

Deric winsed and fassened the locket around his neck, once she was finished, "can we go to bed?" he asked looking in her eyes they showed how little sleep he had gotten

Kira smiled slightly, standing and holding out her hand. "Yes. It'll probally be the best sleep either of us have had in awhile." She led him up the stairs and toward the bedroom, slipping into the bathroom once they made it there.
