The poles began to become freezing once everyone was up. Mint's feet stuck to the pole, much to her dismay. "I'm stuck!" she complained, then laughed. "Hey, Brandon, have you ever seen that movie A Christmas Story?" she asekd.

"No, I haven't Mint." Brandon replied, looking over at her and smiling, it was slippery on his pole but he made sure to stay up on the pole without moving. His hands were placed into his pockets and his hair was more over on one side so he could see her more clearly.

"Aww...It's funny. This kid sticks his tongue to a pole that was frozen and began to yell, "I'm stuck! Help! Help!" and the fire department had to come get him." she said and laughed, then looked at the water. It had risen a visable 2 inches since the game had began. "Great..."

He looked at the water, grinning in amusement at it, it was funny how fast it was going. "It's not that bad Mint, you'll be able to stay on there." Brandon stated as he watched it slowly rise some more, it was quite interesting really, he looked to some of the other competators for a few moments and then away.

Mint nodded. "Not concerned anyhow. Shark fairy, remember?" she grinned and then frowned when the water halted, and the poles became boiling hot. Mint yelped in agony as her feet became unglued to the pole. Other contestants were jumping in agony as well.

Brandon bared it, but his feet burned harshly and the skin burnt, it hurt badly but he never jumped up in pain or let out an noises. He let out a quivering breath, thinking of thingsthat were cold, like te night and snow and ice and other things like that.

Mint looked like she wanted to cry. "I don't want to be shark calamari...!" she joked, even in pain. One team couldn't take it, and one accidentally jumped too close to the edge, and slipped off. It was clear that it was on accident. The other one rang the bell that is above each member. "Team 3, done!" the announcer screamed.

Brandon smiled slightly, laughing a bit at her joke and keeping watch of how the team had lost. He let out a breath and shook his head a bit, this was going to be very, very easy to win. Well.... That was unless someone started to cheat and this time he didn't want to be the one to.

FF-6 hours later
The water was just an inch from where their feet stayed flat. Mint sighed. It was their team and another team left. Forest's team. "How come he didn't catch on fire?" she growled, angry and tired.

He shrugged his shoulders, tired of standing there, but his feet were totally skeletal now from to much heat. "This is so stupid, i'm jumping into that damned water if that team doesn't lose in fifteen minutes!" Brandon snapped, he just wanted to sit down or something and moved around.

Mint nodded in agreement. "Well...They didn't say we couldn't sit-" her thoughts were interupted as cool water lapped against their feet. She smiled and made a releaved noise. "Thank Posiedon(sp?)!" she exclaimed and wiggled her toes. Her feet were cooked, and reaching the skelotal part. The other team was releaved as well. One guy on the other team fainted from the shock of the cold water touching his cooked feet, dehydration, and from happiness of feeling water. Forest looked at him as they took him to land. "3 contestants left!"

"Okay. One down I guess and one more to go. We'll just have to wait awhile." Brandon stated to Mint, sighing as the water hit his feet, his skin grew back and he looked up at the sky, it was warm out today, kind of hot in a way to.

FF-5 hours later.
Mint was completely submerged underwater, her feet hooking roughly into the pole. Small pools of blood were around her form.
Forest managed to grow one of those tube plant things you see in cartoons and had embedded some roots into the pole to stay under.

Brandon was under the water as well, being a bit taller then the two his head stuck out a bit, but only some of his hair. He was holding on with bones the came out of his feet. He looked over at Mint, frowning, there was blood and he didn't like that one bit.
