Lilly did as she was told. She shut the doors with an audible click, and then walked over to where her master was. "What would you like to tell me, Death?" she asked softly.

He swallowed and looked into her eyes for a moment and then his mouth opened to start but it closed again. Death finally got himself together after three minutes of plain staring. "I have a crush on you Lilly. And I know it's a childish way to put it but any other way and I think i'd sound even more idiotic."

Lilly stared at him while he gathered his thoughts, silent and patient. Then when he told her, she froze. It sunk in slowly, very slowly, too slowly. Soon, she was panting after about 3 minutes of letting the fact sink in and not breathing, nearly fainting. She stared at her feet, embarrassed. And she didn't know how to respond now. After another 2 minutes, she breathed out a calmed breath, and glanced up at him from under her eye lashes. "Should...I tell you how I feel or something?" she asked, not sure how to respond to the statement.

"Uh~... I guess that's how it goes when people talk about these things. I'm really not to sure of it though..." Death replied, looking at her with an embarrased smile and blushing cheeks. I can not believe those words came out of my mouth... He thought stupidly to himself, the things people said when they had crushes.

Lilly blushed more and kept her gaze on the floor. Her whole body felt hot with embarrassment, fear, and couragelessness. "Ilikeyoutoo." she mumbled out so fast it was incoherent and nearly inaudible. Where'd my courage go?! she thought, keeping her gaze downward.

He heard her quite clearly even if she was mumbling and grinned happily, one hand moved to her face. "You do? Thanks, Lilly. I'm glad that you don't hate me." Death stated, he moved closer, arms now wrapping around her and pulling her gently to him. This is what I like.... Holding her to my body.

Lilly's face got even redder as he pulled her close. She didn't mind this though. She liked it. It brought the feelings of security and made her forget who she was temporarily. It was like the other morning, when they'd laid in bed together and cuddled or something."You're welcome. I don't think I want to hate anything again...It hurt to hate you that one day..." she mumbled, drifting off and shutting her eyes at the painful memories of the first few days of her staying here.

He swallowed the saliva that was deep in his throat, eyes closing gently and head hiding in the crook of her neck. "It hurt to feel your hate towards me as well, Lilly. I just got jealous and arrogant." Death stated, his face was calm and not red anymore, he gently carressed up and down her back. I think I did a good thing, getting out my feelings in the open...

Lilly's body slowly relaxed, the tension in it going away. She felt her body pressing or huddling it seemed to his, soaking in the comfort and carresses he was giving her. Her eyes were shut and breathing even, enjoying the moment. "I'm sorry." she apologized for hurting him by hating him earlier, even though she had the right to.

"No worries, dont apologize to somebody like me, you don't need to." Death replied, he kissed her cheek and then moved away a few steps, blushing slightly once more. He now didn't know what else to say or do, it was kind of hard. I need Cerberus! The man thought to himself seriously but knew Cerberus would be gone for about a wek and a half or more.

He bit on his bottom lip in anxiety and looked at the tension rise, letting out a breath he smiled at her. "Cerberus was right, eh? I do have feelings for you." Death stated, he didn't really have anything else to talk about and it was a pretty good conversation starter.

Lilly nodded. "Yeah...I guess so..." she answered quietly. She grinned timidly back at him, still suprised they'd admitted they had crushes on each other. She bit her lip, anxious as well. She wasn't used to conversing with her masters. Friends yes, but her masters? No. Especially when she liked her master as more than just her master.

"Well, it's late. I guess we should be getting to bed, all we've been doing today is work anyways." Death stated after awhile of more unnerving silence, he was so embarrased right now. Oh man. I need some sleep to think.... This is going to be hard without Cerberus to give me pointers and suggestions like always. He thought as he pput the last papers away and went to the door, waiting for Lilly.

Lilly followed silently, looking very shy. This was so ackward to her, and it was obvious she wasn't used to this at all. "Yeah...bed ro soemthing..." she agreed in a mumble, yelling at herself for being so courageless in her head.
