He rolled over slightly to crush her gently to his chest. He smiled still in his sleep. Kain's body was very warm, but in the good way. He was snoring softly.

She took a soft intake of breath and watched him, her eyes closing gently and her body relaxing. I'll definatly talk to him about my thoughts later tonight. Dez thought to herself, breathing in his calming scent before slowly falling asleep.

FF- several hours later
Kain awoke. He was very still, taking her Dez's sweet scent. He didn't want to wake her up if she was sleeping soundly. SHe was so warm.

Dez was breathing slowly, her face pressed gently against Kain's chest and one of her hands lay on his abdomen. She let out a soft murmer of a word and then sighed as if slightly sad ot disappointed about something.

She took ina deep breath, not breathing for a moment or two and then slowly exhaled, her eyes opening up tiredly. "Fuck..." Dez whispered out, and stretched a bit, her feet coming out from underneath the blanket and hanging off the edge of the bed.

He sat up and looked at her. "Waht's wrong?" he aske dher sofly. Kain was still worried. She stiill sounded upset about something.

Her eyes moved over to Kain and she frowned slightly before slowly sitting up, her back turning to him. Dez stared at the wall, nibbling gently at her lip, she sat up straight, thinking. "What time is it?" She asked Kain in a tired tone of voice.

"I just wanted to know." Dez answered, bringing her legs up onto the bed and crossing them, her elbows resting gently on each knee. "I've been thinking rather hard lately about myself... Very hard actually," she muttered, pausing for a moment, "and I think i'm afraid of... well being hurt by you. Really I don't think you'd ever honestly try to hurt me but what if i'm not the right one for you..."

Kain listened to her. He stared at her, eyes soft and loving. "Do you remember those weird questions I asked about scars?" he asked, sitting up and putting his arms around her.

Dez looked over her shoulder at Kain and nodded her head. "Hell yeah, who could forget questions like those?" She muttered out in an almost teasing tone before looking away again.

"Show me the collar bone one." he requested, taking his shirt off and a scar on his bone being shown. "Also, do you remember what I had said before I asked all those questions?" he asked.

Dez blinked but nodded her head, taking off her t-shirt and turning slightly to Kain so he could see, she still had her bra n so she wasn't worried about him seeing anything. "Well I remember you and I speaking about something called a pre-detined bond, is that what your asking about?" She questioned, head cocked to the side.

"Yeah...If we are not meant for each other, any matching scars we have will not light up. however if we are...You know...There should be some sign. Be it our scars light up, we get really cold or hot, or something falls down in another room." he explaiend.
