Kain didn't fall back to sleep for a long time, deep in thought. He finally did after he heard her dad get home. I wonder if we'll ahve to tell him. he pondered, drifting off into sweet dreams of, oddly (and for the first time) Dez. He didn't dream often and was suprised to dream of her.

When Kain fell asleep she waited for about an half of an hour before moving from the man's arms and going downstairs. Her dad was sitting on the couch, a beer in one hand and the remote in another. "Dezirae." She heard her dad's husky voice state. She went over and sat down on the couch beside him, her arms wrapping around one of his gently, cuddling up to his side. "You know dad, I missed you." Dez replied in a loving tone of voice, she'd go back up and lay in bed with Kain in a few minutes.

Kain didn't move. he wondered where she went though, unawre to him though. He was patting the bed, trying to find her.

The two were quietly itting on the couch together, watching television. "Do you miss mom?" Dez asked her father, looking at his sad face. Scott nodded his head, "Of course I do, she was the only woman besdes you that i've loved in my life. You two were the best things that ever happened to me..." She sighed at her fathers words and then nodded, sitting up and giving him a gentle kiss on the cheek. "I miss her to dad." She whispered before getting up and going back upstairs to lay in bed with Kain, she smiled, watching him unconciously look for her before crawling into the bad beside him.

Kain smiled and held her close to him. He mumbled a teasing comment out to her, even in his sleep he could do it. He was quite affectionate since no one was around. Plus, it was Dez. Dez was just like...awsome and deserving of affection.

Her faced turned red and she gave out a soft irate moan before closing her eyes. Well at least I picked a very good and most likely a very long lasting boyfriend for my first one. Dez thought, it didn't really make sense to her even in her own mind but she was alright with that and slowly fell asleep.

The next morning, Kain let Dez sleep in. he didn't want to wake her, so he stayed completely still.

Dez slept soundly for about 45 more minute and then slowly woke up, eyes opening to look at Kain. "Hm, you didn't have to stay in her if you were awake, you could've left if you wanted to." She stated in a tired strained voice, rolling her shoulders a bit.

"I didn't want to wake you up though." he explained, sitting up and watchign her. "Want me to make you breakfast?" he asked. If Dez was smart, she'd say no. Right now. Kain could cook...fish. And that was about it.

"Naw, i'm going to cook." She mutted and sat up, stretching her arms above her head and arching her back a bit to feel it move. "It's only right I cook anyways, for the two guys in my life." Dez teased and then got off of the bed, she was going to go and ghnge nto some clothes in her room.

He got up and changed into his clothes then went downstairs. Kain sat in the kitchen, sipping some water he had gotten and watiing for Dez.

Dez came downstairs and into the kitchen, sending Kain a quick smile before getting the tools needed to cook breakfast for th three people. Scott was still in bed upstairs, most likely to have a hangover from drinking with his friends and then drinking more once home. "How was your sleep?"

"It was okay. You left..." he pouted. Kain smiled a moment later. "Then came back. I think I teased you about being my warm spot or something..." Kain laughed.

She nodded her head at this, smiling slightly and turning on the stove burners to start making bacon and sausages. "Yeah, I wanted to go and seak to my dad for a few minutes about somethings." Dez explained and then brought out pancake mix, getting things out to make that as well.

Kain nodded adn watched her make pancakes. "You know, if I made you breakfast, those pancakes would be very very very....not cooked." he smiled and blushed at that.
