"Don't worry about it, I don't care who the hell is here anyways." Scott stated to Kain, grinning at him from over the newspaper which he had once again grabbed and opened up. Dezirae raised her eyebrows, watching the two guys, it was comfortably silent for a good long while. "Do you have to pack anything up or have a shower before we go, Kain?"

"I'm fine. I put everythign away when I woke up this morning." he told her. "and I don't think I stink...do I?" Kain hoped not.

Dez and Scott both looked at Kain, shaking their heads at the same time. "No, you don't stink, I would've told you already if you did." The woman explained, giving him an apologetic smile. "If you stank you would've been outside already." Scott added on, he was just joking of course.

"Well, we should go now." Dez stated, standing up, stretching and then walking over to her dad. She leaned down and pressed her lips to his head and then to his cheeks. "Bye dad, i'll see you in a while or i'll phone you." She said. Scott smiled, patting her shoulder gently, he watched her leave to go grab her things. "I'll see you around some other time then, Kain. It was nice meeting to by the way." He said, standing from his seat so he could shake Kain's hand.

Kain shook the man's hand and smiled. "Same to you, Scott." he said and went to get his things. Once he and Dez waqs ready, they left.

Dez was quiet in the car, when they got onto the highway she relaxed a bit into her seat. Well that was a very, very good trip. I think Kain and I got much closer as well to. She thought to herself happily.

Kain fell asleep halfway on the ride home, but woke himself up. "YOur father is cool." he told her. "You're a lot like him."

"You think i'm like him? Really? Wow, I don't get that a lot." Dez replied, looking at Kain from the corner of her gaze. "Do you want me to drop you off at your house or are you going to stay with me?" She asked curiously.

((Hm... Well do you think he'd get a bit upset if she left in the middle of the night while he was as sleep and didn't show up for a day and a half later without phoning him to tell him where she is or if she's alright?))

"He was the youngest in the house and his dad was killed or died or something and his mother and sisters used to just beat the fuck out of him and torture him all of the time. It was terrible, he used to be stabbed, burnt, strangled all of that stuff." Dez explained while changing lanes.
