Dez sat on the couch in Killian's house, her legs crossed. Killian was upstairs in the bathroom having a shower at the moment. "CAN YOU GET THAT?" She heard the mans voice boom from the room upstairs. Rolling her eyes she stood up, walking to the door and opening it up, when she saw who it was at the door she contemplated closing it, but kept it opened. "Yeah?" Dez asked in a cold and forced polite tone of voice, her eyes on his face blankly.

Kain saw who answered the door and took a step back. "...H-...hang on." he mumbled, and went to his car as if to think about driving away. He looked at a small bundle of flowers on the passenger's seat, then decided now was not the time. He came back with some oranges. "Boss wants Killian and I downtown asap. And I found some oranges half off yesterday he might want." he mumbled, eyes on his feet.

She nodded her head at this, hearing the water for the shower turn off. Dez took the oranges from Kain, eyes on him. "Come inside, he'll be down in a few." The woman explained before turning away to go into the house and put the oranges in the kitchen for Killian whom of which was just getting dressed upstairs.

Kain waited by the door. He looked at Dez, then down at the ground. "You look well." he mumbled.

She stared at him once she got back, slowly nodding her head. "Yeah? So do you, Kain." Dez said, sending him a small smile before Killian came downstairs, fully clothed, but with dripping wet hair. "Ah, lad! What're you doin' here, eh?" The man asked, looking down slightly at Kain, eyes warm and happy.

"Boss wants to see us. He couldn't get ahold of you, so he sent me here." Kain explained. "He wants to see us ASAP."

"A'right then, seems i've got to go, see you later lass." Killian stated, shaking his head to let water fly all over the place. He turned to Dez, leaned down and gave her a kiss on the cheek and a pat on the back. She smiled at this, nudging him and then getting her shoes on before sending Kain a quick look and then leaving the house to go to Shawnes. Killian watched and then looked at Kain, smirking slightly, "You miss her, boy?"

Kain nodded. "Yeah. Lets go." he mumbled and headed out of hte house and gettng into his car.

He watched this, nodded and shut his house door, locking it behind him and blinking in confusion. Do I go with him or do I go by myself? Ah, whatever, i'll by myself. Killian thought and got into his car, watching Kain pull out and then following.

They got there and there was a meeting about someone that had screwed up. Any assassins working under the same guy were there. kain and Killian were quickly dismissed. "I hate that leperchaun." he muttered as he neared his car.

"Ah, come now. He isn't tha' bad, lad. Anyways, hate is a strong word, you should think about how you use it." Killian stated, giving Kain a friendly pat on the back and then walking over to his vehicle. "She loves you." He told the man before opening his car door, getting in and then driving away before he could get a reply.

Kain looked at the car as he drove away. He was frozen, unsure what to do, but it tipped him of on how to begin. He got in his car and sped to Dez's house, where he dropped the bouquet of flowers on the welcome mat, a note card saying "I'm Sorry." on it, knocked on the door, then hurriedly sped off.

Dez and Shawne stopped talking at the knock and Dez got up and off of the couch, walking over to the door and opening it up. "Hello-" She blinked in confusion, "flowers? The hell...?" Bending down she picked up the bouquet and read the little card, she sighed, leaning against the door frame and staring at them. Shawne came up behind her, reading it over her shoulder and smiled. "You're such a bitch, making him feel bad for two weeks and torturing yourself." The phoenix snapped, shaking her head at her friend. Dez sighed, moving back into the house and shutting the door. "I'll go and see him tonight, if it'll make you feel better."

Kain lounged on the couch, watching Edwin attempt to babysit. It was rather amusing. "You know....they need to eat...to live?" he asked through some noise. The kids were having fun, Edwin was not.

"Yeah, I guess i'll be alright with that, but you better apologize to him." Shawne stated before smiling and leaving the house. Dez sighed to herself and went to go and put the flowers in a vase in the kitchen. Her dad had phoned awhile ago and got mad at her for being mean to Kain as well, to put it shortly, the conversation was filled with very interesting comments.
