"Okay." She said and took him to a booth near the kitchen. This way she could show off Lilly's cooking skills to. She set a menu down in front of him. "Can I start you off with a drink, Gabriel?" she asked.

"Just water please." He replied and smiled at Sarasa, he grabbed the menu and opened it up, looking it over. While this was happening Acarice walked in and spotted Gabriel, he walked over silently and took a seat in the booth across from his friend. "Hey, sorry i'm late."

Sarasa went into the kitchen and got a water, then came out. She blinked at Avarice's appearance, recalling Lilly's words of danger. She set the water down and turned to him, nothing appearing wrong. "Hello, sir. Are you joining Gabriel for a meal today? If so, may I get you a menu and something to drink?" Her English was getting better.

Avarice looked up and gave her a slight smile. "Yeah, I am. Could I please have some coke? He asked her politely, he looked at Gabriel and gave him a sideways grin. Ganriel blushed and took his water, sipping at it quietly.

She handed him a menu and went to get the coke. She tipped off Lilly that Gabriel and AVarice were there. Lilly flushed red at Avarice's name, and Sarasa suspected things then. She took his coke out to him. She saw more customers waiting. "Oh, um, I'll have the cook come out in a minute...I don't have any waiters or waitresses quite yet, so we're working on hiring." she apologized and vanished into the kitchen. Lilly nodded and watched Sarasa go seat and serve another round of customers. She came out, notepad in hand and an eye and ear on the kitchen, and went to their table. "So...uM...Are you guys ready to order?" she asked.

"Yeah, two cheese burgers and fries please, no tomatoe on one of them and no mayonaise on the other." Gabriel answered, smiling cheerfully at Lilly, he was happy to see that she was doing well. Avarice looked at Lilly, staring at her face with his icy eyes, he was almost obsessed with her when she was around. He pinched his arm and looked away from her and to the table, grabbing his coke and sipping it.

Lilly scribbled that down and went into the kitchen to make it. Sarasa came in and gave her quite a few orders a moment later then came out with one person's food and went to give it to them.

Avarice relaxed back into the seat and frowned to himself, he looked at Gabriel who was stil grinning widely. "You're always way to happy my friend." He stated quietly and chuckled to himself. Gabriel just kept on his happy look, "There's nothing to be sad about or angry about so I guess I should just be happy."

Sarasa passed by and refilled their drinks. Lilly came out and set their food down and then disappeared since she had a dozen more orders. They were looking for a few more cooks and some waiters/waitresses. No one reasonable has put in an application yet though.

Avarice and Gabriel ate quietly and quickly, they were finished after about ten minutes. "She's a good cook, isn't she?" Gabriel said with a huge grin, he thought his food was delicious. Avarice nodded in agreement and then sighed dreamily, everytime he was around her he couldn't stop thinking about what he did. "I like it too..." He trailed off, pouting to himself.

Sarasa came by and grinned at them. "You looked like you liked that! Can I get you two some dessert?" she asked, still smiling. Her smile faltered when Lilly yelled some Hindu curse at something unseen. She blinked, said "Hang on," then walked into the kitchen. Sarasa walked in and saw the problem and sighed. They had a small argument, merely about a customer Lilly loathed that came by only to knit-pick at restaurants, and it was over. Sarasa came out, shaking her head.

"Is there something wrong back there, Sarasa?" Gabriel asked curiously while Avarice looked around in his pockets for his wallet. "And we're not going to get dessert, i've got to head out quickly for a meeting." Avarice said as he got out his wallet finally.

"Not really..." she drifted off. Sarasa dropped the bill on the table. "Well, thank you for eating here today. I hope both of you have good days." She said, bowed, then went to take care of other customers.

Avarice paid for the food and they both stood up, he peeked into the kitchen at Lilly quickly before being pulled out of the resturant by Gabriel. They both walked down to the gang district and went to the meeting place, their leader, Zion was talking about gang developement.

FF- That evening
Lilly yawned as she left work. Sarasa smiled and hugged her, then left as well. She was meeting her mom and dad at the airport. Both were working on getting to become citizens of the city. Lilly absently wandered the town. The restaurant was closed until further notice. They needed help.
She found a club that would let her in and she grinned and decided to go in for the Hell of it. Lilly walked in and was greeted by that odd deafening music and an orgy of dancers immediately after getting inside. SHe could smell booze, cigarettes, and could tell some of hte dancers were high on drugs.
She fit in well, wearing somewhat baggy but still a bit slim fitting jeans held up by a stylish belt and a camoflauge tank-top that accentuated her curves, breasts, and flat stomach. Her long, thick black hair only added to her appearance and her eyes made her stand out compared to many of the other girls who wore contacts, while hers were clearly real hazel and greens mixed together. She walked out to the dance floor, and let herself be taken by the beat.
