Amy watched the two silently. She'd always thought of scouts as those people who checked out the land then reported back to the boss-person. She didn't see much that was complicated there, but perhaps there was more to it than she'd ever thought.

Mat shifted his hand and hid the throwing knife he had in his coat sleeve. He made sure the others were ready should Matrix something like he just did again. Mat tapped the sword away from his face. "Well, Are you faster on foot or on a horse?" He asked. He looked over at Amy to acknowledge her. Just letting her know that he knew she was there.

"depends, how far is it?" I acted like i didn't see a thing, though i did see his hand move, and i could sense it was something dangerous. i kept a weary eye out for it.

Amy looked up at him silently, watching them. She was getting bored, and didn't see the slight shift.

"I don't know exactly. You would have to find the enemy for me and report back. And they could be miles away or just over the next hill. You never know." Mat told him. "Amy is it?" He asked the girl werewolf.

"and when do you want the information back?" i was coming up with several ideas on how to sneak in and see what this so called "enemy" is doing. 'Maybe it's time for a little "family" reunion' i thought.

Amy nodded at Mat. "Yeah, it's Amy."

Mat frowned as he turned to face Matrix again. "As soon as you can get it back. Do you know nothing of spying or scouting?!" He raised his voice at the end to almost a shout.

i glared at him, pointed my sword right at his face, and said, in an intimidating voice, "never, yell at me." and walked out of the tent.

Amy watched with no interest. She was bored at this point.

Mat took hold of himself visibly. He turned back around to face Amy. "Now where were we?" He said as he thought.

i took a few paces from the tent, paused, turned around, went back into the tent, glared at Mat, and said to Amy, "do you want to come along? i could use some help."

Amy blinked at the two guys' questions. "Um...To...Matrix, I don't know how to Scout. And to...Mat, I don't know at all."

Mat grunted in anger as held it at check. "Didn't i say go?" He asked simply Matrix. "Because if your not going to do as I asked and get my men killed in the process then you have two options. Leave this camp doing the errand I asked of you, or leave this camp and never show your face to me again. Either way you leave now!" He said in a commanding tone as men in the tent drew there swords.

I slowly looked up from Amy to Mat, took out my communicator, pushed a little red button, took out my 4-point, and i said, "i warned you. And I'm not going to do it again!" I threw the 4-point on the ground, and while it blew the place up, i back handsprung my way out of the tent. As i got safer and deeper into the woods, i hoped to god Amy was alright. But of course she is, i didn't "kill" anyone. I kept telling myself that everything will be ok. but something in my gut told me that we were entering a whole different game...
