As the day went on, Anna felt like she was being watched. She wasn't sure who may be watching her, but she was pretty sure it was someone. She would try the truth-seeking thing Bane had taught her every so often, and had actually found one fairie in her classroom at some point.
It was finally time to go home. As she walked home, the demon that was irritated at her and wanted revenge did something subtle that wouldn't bring the furies over or get her attention.
He blew some magic demonic dust that would cling to her, and until he removed it, would create so many problems. It was magnet-dust, and it drew in all sorts of bad things.
Then he vanished.
Anna stepped inside, tripping over herself and hitting her head on the edge of something. "Ow..." she mumbled, seeing violet for a few moments before standing. Her friend, Jenna, looked at her. "That wound on your cheek is bleeding again," she murmured, which sent Anna straight up to the bathroom to work on that, tripping more and gathering more bruises and a cut.
When she finally went to bed, she didn't have a restful sleep. She was plagued with nightmares of people she loved, particularly Bane, getting hurt or leaving her to be alone forever. She found herself waking up screaming every few hours. She decided it was something she ate at dinner or from the nerves she had in her gut- she had a test the following day that would really kill her if she flunked it.

The demon that had kidnapped Anna bowed low, before glancing back up at the demon that had sent him into the human world.
He was tall, his hair pale and long, but his eyes were as black as midnight.
Davion narrowed his eyes at the lowly demon before him. "Did you do as I asked?"
"Yes, mi'Lord." the demon said cowering.
Good, soon the human would wish she were dead. Then he would come to her.

The next day Anna tripped and fell even more, and she was exhausted. She walked into her math class, completely unprepared. She couldn't find her calculator, her pencil, not even paper! What the!? she thought, panicing. She knew she would fail this course without her trusty calculator.
She walked out, looking defeated while everyone else spoke of the grades the thought they would get. F. she thought glumly and headed back home to try and get some sleep. SHe wasn't paying attention, and a car nearly hit her when she crossed the road. She was surprised-that hadn't happened to her before.
Anna got inside and was greeted with loud squeels. Right. They're getting ready for their double dates. she thought, and left. May as well walk it out.
Anna started to walk around town, simply exploring. Oddly, her colors were getting her more lost than usual, and she ended up in an area she had never been before. She couldn't locate her cell phone, so she was stuck trying to get out on her own.

Bane paced his room over and over again, his thoughts on Anna.She hadn't called him, so she was okay, right?
She had to be okay.

She eventually found her way back home.
Over the next four days her luck, she decided, progressively got worse. She wasn't sleeping. She was getting ill from the lack of decent sleep. Her schoolwork was starting to slip.
Anna sat in class, her head resting against the table. Some of her classmates watched her silently, wondering what was up. She was usually quite perky and ready to go, not ever ill or unprepared. She eventually excused herself and went home, crying. I just want to go to sleep and be ready for school.
She sniffled, walking on the sidewalk. She was the only one out at the moment. Maybe I should call him... she thought, wondering if her sudden exhaustion and nausea was due to the fact she also really missed Bane. No! she decided quickly. He...He needs to be...um...He needs to be able to concentrate so he can help me later. Anna stumbled onto her knees, letting out a squeek. Her knees were dark purple at this point, and she had other bruises dotting her body.
~~~
Anna fainted during her math class the following day, and had a fever running. She was taken to the hospital to rest up. When she woke up, she started to cry because of her location. Is it that bad! Am I this bad? she wondered, wishing she was better.
The doctors said she was ill, and needed to rest up.
Her friend drove them home, and she went straight to bed only to wake up every few minutes from a nightmare. She would cry after each one, only wanting sleep. Her fever wasn't getting any better, and she was beginning to have trouble holding down food.
Finally, after another two days passed, she had the worst thought she could ever have. I wish I was dead...Then I wouldn't be bothered by this...And... she thought, sniffling to try and stop the tears as she threw up what she had tried to eat for breakfast. I need Bane.
She gagged again, then whimpered out a pathetic, "Help me, Bane. Something's wrong..."
Bane was by her side within seconds, and when he looked down at her his heart stopped beating.
Dropping to his knees he bent over her, his hands grasping hers. "Anna?!" He barked out horsely.
She whimpered, looking up at him with wet eyes. "Help me...Something's wrong," she whispered, then her face turned away quickly as she started to gag again.
She was in short clothes that let the cool air touch her body. He'd be able to see the bruises and pain she was in.
Bane stared down at her almost in pain himself. What had happened to her? Her body was sickly, pale, and bruises covered almost every inch of her.
Growling in frustration he gently pulled her into his arms, manifesting them to his bedroom, laying her in teh bed he brushed the hair away from her face. "What happened?"
Anna rested her head in his neck when he pulled her into his arms. She clung to him weakly, one of her hands staying against him as he laid her down. She whimpered, "I don't know...I came home a few days ago and I started to get...really...clumsy...then sick...So much bad luck lately." She tried to scoot closer to him.
Bane stared at her in disbelief. This couldnt be happening, she couldn't die. Unable to help himself he layed out beside her, pulling her into the curve of his body, snaking his arms around her to stop her shivering.
"I'm going to try and find what's wrong with you." he whispered in her ear. "Your going to feel a strange tingly sensation throughtout your entire bdoy, but you have to trust me, okay?"
Then he drew out of his own body, and into her's. His soul searched her entire system, looking for cuts or dark spots, but he coudn't find any. What he did find was a strange glittering clor lingering over her.
It was demon powder.
Anna nodded feebly, moving more into his body. He felt so safe, so reassuring. "I trust you," she mumbled out, closing her eyes as the tingly sensation entered.
It felt more than just tingly, but...electric, staticy. It was weird to think of it that way. She hoped he found whatever her ailment was soon. She wasn't aware of how long she had left to live if the powder wasn't removed in a few hours.
Bane set to whiping out every one of the dust's of powder inside her body, it was a long and tiring process, but when he was done he summersaulted back into his body, his skin wet with sweat from the procedure.
Anna felt something slowly becoming eliminated from her body, and with it, the pain and sickness left. She had never felt so grateful for anything in her entire life.
She would ask what it was later on, when she had the energy. Once the powder was elminated, her exhausted body set forth to shutting down and getting rest.
She started to drift off into a much needed sleep, her arms wrapping around his body like he was her life-line, tight and warm, hard and assuring. Anna murmured out many gratious comments, and several I owe yous to him as she drifted, her words becoming incoherent as slumber took control. She managed to nestle her head near his before she was completely out of it.
