Drysi led the way out and left the place, sipping her coffee every few seconds.

She was silent throughout the walk. They were back at her home in a matter of half an hour. She lead him inside and shut the door, and almost instantly was greeted by a pale brunette. "Hello, Rysi...?" she greeted and looked Jackson. "This is Jackson," Drysi introduced.

Nancy nodded. "Nancy...Hey, Drysi, Sam needs you upstairs. I'll entertain your guest until you return," she murmured. Drysi nodded and set her coffee down then vanished upstairs. Nancy watched him silently. "If you smell blood, please don't be concerned," she cautioned him, eyes on his form.

"Thank you," she said, then was silent. Upstairs Drysi was being used as a food source by Sam which was why she had warned Jackson about blood.

Jackson had guessed what was happening as soon as Drysi had left the room. That didn't make it any easier when his super sensitive nose picked up what was happening. He hid his concern and disapproval effortlessly.

Drysi returned ten minutes later, hands stuffed into her pockets and long sleeves hiding her wrists. She smiled at Nancy, and Nancy nodded and left. Drysi was noticeably more pale, and she seemed a bit tired now despite the caffeine in her body.

"Who do you think would win in a fight?" he asked. "The Burger King guy or Ronald McDonald?" He knew he was being random but he didn't care. it distracted him enough from the thought of what had happened.
