The phone kept on ringing and she finally gave up and pulled herself out of the bed, stretching slightly and rubbing her tender ribcage before leaving the room and rushing downstairs. She came back into the bedroom about five minutes later and got into the bed, silent as ever, she pulled a pillow to her chest tightly, closed her eyes and just laid there to go to sleep.

"Not at all." Shant replied and let out a sigh and opened her eyes, looking at the clock for a moment. "I've got to babysit in 15 to 20 minutes." She informed him, her voice wasn't even as close to as mean and cold as it usually was. The woman licked her lips and looked over her shoulder at Cape silently. "Are you going to be alright around a baby?" Shant asked him, she truly had a soft spot in her heart for babies, she absolutely adored them.

Shant nodded her head, smirking to herself, she sat up and rolled her shoulders. "Good, i'm glad you won't eat her." She pushed herself out of the bed again and hummed quietly to herself. "I hope he brings me some things for the baby." The woman murmured out lightly before slowly leaving the room, she looked sort of out of it again, and one of her hands was always tightly holding onto her injured side.

Cape watched her then reasted his head back down. His hole boddy hurt... not nearly as bad as his mintal state did.

After about twenty minutes some walked into her house, a young man with long silver hair carrying a baby in his arms with a diaper bag over one of his shoulders. Shant greeted him warmly by moving forwards and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "So this is the babe, Clavier?" She asked curiously and looked down at the small baby in Clavier's arms, she felt a warm feeling move through her chest at the sight of it. "Mmhm, i've got to go though, i'll be back tomorrow sometime." He told her with a large wolfish grin and handed er the baby and the diaper bag carefully before leaving again.
Shant looked at the baby and let a gorgeous smile pass onto her lips, it was the first one she had actually given to a person in ages. "You're such a cute little thing." She cooed out warmly and nuzzled the baby's head gently, earning herself a quiet baby laugh which she gave another smile to. "I heard your name was Keagan, nice name for a little lad like yourself." The woman commented, walking into the living room and taking a seat on the couch, she set the bag down on the furniture beside her and positioned the baby so that he was resting in her arms safely. Shant smiled once again and let out a soft sigh, everytime she was near a baby she wanted one of her own. She watched Keagan look around wide-eyed at everything, a curious expression on his little face.

Shant heard him and looked over to the doorway to the living room and say him walk down from the stairs. "Are you alright?" She asked, her voice for once, very caring, her whole entire mood changed when she was around babies, they made her much kinder and happier.

She nuzzled her nose into the side of the babies neck, making him giggle again and smiled brightly to herself at it. "He seems well behaved, this is the first time i've ever watched him though." Shant replied and kissed the top of the babies head, she let out a longing sigh and let her eyes close as she took in the babies soft scent.

"I love babies, they're so innocent and cute..." She commented and smiled as the baby grabbed onto her braid and pulled in gently in curiousity. "Babies can't be condecending or hurtful... They're just babies." Shant murmured and relaxed even further and looked down at Cape curiously. "Why didn't you have a nap upstairs while I watched the baby?"

Her eyebrows rose as she looked down at him. "Just 'cuz'? Wait a second... Did you get lonely up there by yourself?" Shant asked teasingly, a grin sliding onto her pale lips.
