"If theres any place where I'll find the type of help I need, i's here," Serenity thought to herself, surveying the surrounding area. To say the people who frequented these parts were less than friendly was a grotesque understatement- to make eye contact with even one of them might mean an automatic death sentence. " Hopefully the scenery around here's a prelude to the type of skills they showcase in these parts." she thought. Taking a deep breath, Serenity allowed her body to relax, feeling oddly at eases here. She had always had an unexplainable attraction to people or places that most sane individuals would regard as worthless or broken. This area was no different. Refocusing her attention, Serenity gathered her long black hair into a ponytail, determined to find what she had left home months ago for. "Maybe tonight will be the night- the night when I finally come face to face with someone dark enough to reach me what I need to know to avenge my family."

Jason stepped out of his black limousine, fixing his long black coat to hide his matching shirt. He stared out into the buildings, the technological lights making him wince. His icy eyes turned downcast as he walked, brooding about his after-life. Long strand of shaggy black hair fell over his beautiful blue eyes, and tan skin normally showed those eyes off.
He paused as his attention went to a beautiful black haired girl who was in the area. He felt his lips twitch, very slight recognition going through his features before fading away. Jason shrugged and moved more towards the club, paying the bouncer a bill to get in quick, and then sliding inside into the crowd of mixing bodies and profane moves against one another. He weaved his way through the people, glaring at anyone who dared try to dance with him, then finally reached the bar. He sat on a stool and ordered is usual, and waited for the night to pass its way by.

Catching sight of the hadsome man with stunning blue eyes for only a second had been enough to tell Serenity all she needed to know. He looked dangerous, deadly, forbidden- exactly what she was looking for. Following the man into the bar, Serenity waited a few minutes to approch him, not wanting to seem too obvious in her intentions. Casually sliding into a seat beside the man, she ordered a drink from the bartender before adressing him. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

((well, good evening! =D i just got up from a nap! how're you?))
Jason glanced up at the pretty girl, an eyebrow arched that a girl had approached him. Most people got the deadly sensation eminating from him and turned away, fearful. "No," he said in a cold, blunt voice before turning away and ordering another of his previous drink. He was drinking something that looked like coke, but it wasn't.

She took a deep breath, scolding herself for being fazed by the indifference in his voice. She had expected that exact respsone, but somehow hearing it come out of his lips made it all the harsher. Regaining her composure, she tapped his shoulder, refusing to be ignored. "Excuse me, I know your probably meeting someone here, but I was actually hoping to pitch you a business proposition."

Jason kept his composure, but was definitely irritated with the pretty girl when she tapped him. Didn't a cold response mean, go away? He sighed and turned his body to her again. He listened to her silenlty, and seemed to genuinely consider her proposal for a proposal, then shook his head. "Not interested. Sorry." He turned away again to his drink.

Blinking, she panicked for a second. She hadn't expected him to say no. Confusion and anger following, she struggled to conceal her emotions. "Wait- you don't even know what I'm offering-or what I want from you. "

"Nor do I honestly care. I'm sorry," he muttered and glanced at her, pity filling his eyes as he did. The girl looked so upset that he'd said no. "Don't you have another person you can ask? I mean...We're in a club, so there has to be someone else you can speak with." Jason sat up and tried to guess what she saw in him to ask. Deciding it was either attractiveness or creepiness, he pointed out several men who would do in his place.

No, it had to be him. Something in her told her it had to be him. And the pity she saw in his eyes only made her more enraged. "And what are you soooo busy with that providing me with you services would be too much of an inconvenience. I mean, your at a club." Realizing he might feel more obliged to accept her request if he knew what she was offering, she added, "Look, I'll pay well- extremely well. In fact, you name the price."

"I'm enjoying my thoughts in a loud place with good rum," he muttered, frowning darkly at her. "And besides, I'm off duty right now, and I'd really rather not work. I'm not concerned about being paid with anything because I can get anything I want with a snap of my fingers." He said this so flippantly, but he was dead serious about this. Jason turned away. "If you really feel I'm the one you must share your little proposal with, then just share it, and maybe I'll consider it.''

"Ok." she said, afraid that he might shoot her down again if she didn't convey her proposal quickly. "You teach me the in's and out's of your particular set of skills, and I pay you by the hour, you name the price.

Jason turned to her. "Uh...Repeat that?" he requested. Did she know who he was?

"You teach me you skills, and I'll pay you. Seems like a fair enough trade." She said her confidence rising slightly. Maybe there was hope yet.

Jason stared at her, then snickered. "Wow, that was definitely a better proposal than I thought it'd be," he gave her, still chuckling. "By 'skills' what do you mean, exactly? Do you know who I am?" He appraised her again, then looked away.

Angered be outright mockery of her, she cleched her fists, hiding them under the bar counter."Look, honestly, i don't give a fuck who you are. All I know is you can provide me a service that I feel to be of value. "And by skills, I mean methods of execution."
