Hayven looked down at his fiance worriedly, concern marring his face. "Chase, man, can't you give my girl some pain meds?! She's already popped one of 'em out. Thats basically like halfway done." Chase shot Hayven a stern look as if he should know better before saying, "No. With triplets , she's going to need to be conscious and free of the influence of drugs in order to sucessfully deliver all three children." Hayven sighed, looking down at Colby. "Sorry, love, no luck. But just think, if you got one out, the other two should be easier because there'll be more room in-well, wherever the first one came from- now."
Damon adopted a sullen expression, looking down at Stephen sympathetically. He knew losing a child, especially when you didn't have much family to begin with, was a horribly painful ordeal. "Stephen....I'm so sorry...." As Damon thought about what she had said, he quiety said, "So, were you married before- to the father of the child- or..."
"Don't worry about me. It should be a sure thing- I'm just supposed to decapitate the current king and then the kingdom should be restored to peace." Pulling back from her slightly, he looked down at her- his features as soft as was possible for him- which wasn't very soft at all. "Caryssa.....just be safe while I'm gone, alright." he said, making her promise. He trusted her and believed she was an extremely capable individual, but he couldn't help but worry about her while she was away.

Colby let out a soft cry and then a louder, more aggravated one as she shoved and pushed out the second child. This was a little girl, with red fuzz on her head and screaming. Colby panted, shaking and crying, and then with one last aggravated noise, the third one, with blondish fuzz on its head, came out. She collapsed back and panted, crying softly in pain and exhaustion. The three children were out now.
"No, just dated. The condom had a hole in it," she said, sighing. "At least, that's the best I can come up with...I mean, he used safety..." She shrugged. "I've never been married." Stephen closed her eyes and her hands rested on her stomach, and she smiled softly.
Caryssa kissed his cheek and nodded. "I'll be safe. I'm in a hospital with plenty of capable fighters," she murmured. "Um...Will the other soldiers of the other kingdom stop fighting once their king is dead?" she asked, not sure how this worked quite yet.

Hayven sighed in relief as if he had been the one giving birth to the children, not her. "Thank god its over. Colby, you did great. Look at what you made- what we mad- three beautiful children, love. Two handsome boys, of course with their fathers charm, and one beautiful baby girl, undoubtedly with their mothers breathtaking beauty." Kissing the top of her forehead, he smiled down at her, a look of pure delight on his face. "And love, don't forget, once your recovered we get to go on our little honeymoon and make our marriage official." he said, winking.
"Were you happy to have a child back then?"Damon asked, curiosity getting the best of him even though he was pretty sure he should drop the subject. He really didn't want this child to be the reason they got back together, or even stayed together for that matter. The only problem was that, after all that had happened, he felt like they were starting all over in their relationship.
"I'm not really sure how this whole thing works, to be honest. All I'm really good at is the execution, I'm leaving it up to the general to deal with the strategy and all that crap. I've never really understood how monarchy works and all, I just know I'm good at the killing part." he confessed. He was definitely intelligent enough to calculate a plan of execution if necessary, but not on a large scale like this.

Colby nodded and drifted off, just plain wiped out. She woke with a start to look at her children. That was what they were supposed to do, right? She smiled wearily at the two boys and girl, touching each of the little bundles before she was fast asleep. The babies were all crying, cold and tired and cold and tired.
Stephen smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I was very happy. I was inconvenienced, but I was happy to have a child," she said softly and smiled up at him with joy filled eyes. "I hate other children, but I know I'll love my own."
Caryssa nodded and hugged him tightly and kissed him again. "Be careful, okay?" She moved away from him slightly to see his face. God, he looked so huge in all the chainmail and such.

Hayven stood up, looking around frantically at the three crying babies and then at a now passed out Colby. "Uhh..." he said, totally unsure of what to do now. Seeing the confused look in Hayven's eyes, Chase stepped in. Taking two of the babies in his hands, Chase carried them out of the room- followed soon by Hayven with the third baby in his arms- into the room a few doors to the left where a temporary nursery had been set up for the 3 werewolf children. Hayven took over from there, happy to cover each of his three children with baby blankets before returning to Colby's side so he would be there when she woke up to bring her her babies.
"And I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother...." Damon said. He had originally wanted to say 'and I'm sure you'll love this child', but he wasn't sure how true that would be since it was a product of him raping her. He was sure that no matter what she would be a wonderful mother to the child, but nothing could change the fact that the child had been conceived as a result of an act of violence.
"Of course." he said, smiling down at her and hesitating before turning and heading back to his position at the front of the army. The commanding general stood next to him, pushing open the doors to the resistance central building as the hundreds of men making up the army began marching towards the castle walls.

"And you'll make a good father?" she asked, looking up at him. Stephen smiled at him. Regardless of how it was conceived, she absolutely would love the child. She seemed to warm at the thought of having a child to love and care for.
Caryssa returned to her post in the hospital to tend to the wounded and dying.

FF 9 months later Damon couldn't take it anymore- couldn't deal with this child, and its crying, and how it had the same eyes as Stephen. It's voice kept ringing in his ear, its body too weak to even hold its own god damn head up. It had taken the only person from him that he had ever loved- and he hated the thing because of it. He could barely stand to touch the god damn thing, let alone look it in the eyes. How the hell was he supposed to be able to take care of it. Stopping the car out in front of his brothers house, Damon lifted it out of the car and placed it on his brothers wooden porch, placing a note on the top of the child before ringing the doorbell and driving off.
Comming to the door, Hayven held Alex in one hand and Hillary in the other as he pushed open the door with his leg. Sighing, he knew when he had heard of Stehpen's death that it would eventually come to this. He worried for his brother, and the child his brother had left on the doorstep. "Hey, Colby, how'd you feel about a new addition?"

Colby was juggling around with Race while trying to put something away. "Uh..." She sniffed and sighed sadly. "It's perfectly fine," she murmured and moved over to Hayven and looked down at baby Stephen. She leaned down and gathered the little one up and held him to her. "Poor Damon...Poor Stephen...Poor baby Stephen," she whispered and looked at Hayven, close to tears. "This is awful."

Hayven nodded for a minute, a sad look crossing his face before switching back to his normal noncholant expression. "Well, love, the more the merrier." he said, smiling down at baby Stephen. "Hello, little one. Welcome to the family."
