"You should just be happy that I'm not going to kill him." Okay, so if he had his book after all then he would. But he didn't have to tell her that.
He glanced at his wrist watch before swearing sharply. He had done shit all day. He had been so worked up over his god damn book. Fuck, now he was going to get behind in work.
"You can't just tell me his address?" Val bit out in frustration. Truthfully, there was really no reason to take her with him. Besides, he was pretty sure that she would drive him crazy and he'd just end up strangling her.

She shook her head and smirked to herself, he seemed pretty fun to annoy, even though he scared her. "I don't think he has one, he moves around a lot, you know, trying to avoid the law and all." She told him. She was like that, moving around so she could never get caught and now look where she was at.

Val ran a hand through his hair in aggrivation and shot her a dark look. "I'm beginning to think maybe I should just kill you." He muttered before the elevator door opened and in walked Fiona. He actually rolled his eyes. Just fucking great. Just what he needed.
The woman swayed in with a saucy grin, eying him up and down before casting a frown to his prisoner. "New employee?" She asked in distaste before approaching Val and laying her hand on his chest. "You seem so stressed. Would you like me to do something about that?" She asked with a small wink and Val pushed her away from him.
"I'm fine." He bit out a bit too harshly and Fiona pouted, casting a glance to the woman once again before smiling and turning to her. "Hello, I'm Fiona."
