A slim, malnourished lone wolf with angel wings tucked in on her sides limped through the forest. Its green eyes looked around, searching for wamrth, food, and water.
I need to get somewhere warm. The snow will fall soon... she thought. The wolf was a shifter. The woman that could shift into the form was part angel, and infected with the werewolf infection. Her name was Lilly.
Lilly was an ex-slave. She was officially on the run from her masters and her past. Living in the city was too hard, so instead she tried to live in the forest. It was much more difficult than she thought. It was also very lonely.

Watching as the wolf wandered below him, Vant noticed how thin and tired it looked. He was a bit worried about the shape it was in, especially it being this close to winter. Slowly gliding down next to the wolf, he noticed wings at it's sides. How very odd... He made a little noise so the wolf wouldn't be too startled, and tried to make himself look as non-threatening as possible.

Lilly's head lifted at a soft noise near her. She looked around and spotted a reptilian looking man. After a few moments of judging if he was a friend or foe, she let her guard down slightly. She kept her distance though. What does he want? she wondered silently, watching him.
((i might have to go, depends on how long my sister uses the computer and such. but i'll be on most of the night after that.))

((Alrighty.))
Making his movements as slow as possible, he took a small piece of meat out of one of the povckets in his robe, took a step forward and placed it on the ground, then retreated a few paces, waiting to see if the wolf would eat it.

((back!))
Lilly watched him, backing up a bit when he approached, even if slow. She watched him place a scrap of meat down, then back away. She stayed where she was for a moment, watching him, then hesitantly and very slowly approached the meat. She sniffed it, then looked up at him to see if she could eat it or if it was a trap/.

((Welcome back.))
Vant saw the wolf look up at him hesitantly, and took another step or two back to try and convince her it was safe to eat. Speaking quietly to hopefully put the wolve's nerves to ease a bit, he slowly said, "It's ok, you can eat it, I won't hurt you."

Lilly watched his movements still. His words help. She bent her head down and accepted the meat, chewing it slowly. This may be the only food I get for a while. she thought, finishing off the last bit. She bowed in her wolf form to say thank you, then straightened up. She was going to see where the lizard-man went off to, not to follow, to be aware.

He was a it suprised when the wolf seemed to bow, but since he figured it would be polite, he bowed back. Sure the wolf was still hungry, he got out another piece of meat, a bit bigger than the last, and tossed it the canine.

She tilted her head in confusion, but ate it anyways. Once finished, she sat down and looked up at him. Maybe I should shift...Maybe not. My clothes don't shift with me. she thought, watching him. And I cannot communicate verbally in this form to ask what he wants.

Since it didn't seem to mind much when he talked earlier, he decided asking it a question couldn't help. "Do you have a home? This is a very empty part of the forest, not many things live here."

Lilly shook her head in response to his question. She motioned her snout in the direction she was heading, then looked back at him. She waited for him to do or say something else once more.

He was suprised that the wolf seemed to respond to his question. My, quite intelligent for a wolf. "What is over there?"

Lilly didn't know how to answer that in her form. Think...How does a wolf say life was bad in the other direction, and life over there might be good...? she thought for a few moments. After a few moments, she stood and faced the way to the city and growled at it, trying to say it was bad. She backed up, making whimpers of fear, and turned. THat was the best way she could think of to say, 'Life might be better that way.'

"So... there was somthing bad over there?" He pointed to where the wolf was growling, and waited to see if it would nod, or shake it's head, or something.

She nodded and sat back down, looking back at him with a somewhat questioning look. Lilly wondered why he was interested in where she was going.
