"If I'm lost, Master William won't find me and then I won't have to do anything again. I'd be free..." she asnwered, looking towards the city. "Please don't tell anyone I'm here..." she begged suddenly. Lilly did not want to bring up slavery. People could use her if she did.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone you're here." He didn't quite get what she was running from, but she obviously didn't want to be found. "Well, there's still probably room at my treehouse if you want to live there instead of the caves."

Lilly shook her head. "It's okay. I don't want to be any trouble...You can have your robe back if you wish.'' she offered, beginning to take it off presuming he'd want it back.

"No, it's fine, you can keep it. You'll be awfully cold without it, and I've got more at home. Are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" He was still a bit concerned.

Lilly was hesitant to answer, but did. "I'll be fine." she answered, looking down the cliffs again for a way down. She spotted one, and it looked slick, but she wouldn't bother him. "Thank you...for your concern." she said, bowing, then heading to the path she spotted and making her way down very cautiously.

He sighed and walked over to her. "It'd be a lot easier and safer if I just carry you down there. Would you like a ride?"
((G'night.))

((same here))
"No thank you. I'm fine." she answered, looking up at him. "Again, thank you for your concern. I'll be fine." Lilly began her way down.

Vant shrugged and started to walk the other way, but something was nagging at the back of his mind. What was it.... Oh yes, the caves! He quickly turned around and jumped off the cliff. Diving down very quickly, near the end he snapped out his wings and flapped them heavily so he could slow down and level out. Remembering unsavory things lived in some of these caves, and she looked in no way ready to fight something off, he started poking around a couple of the bigger ones.

Lilly finally made it down into the valley below the cliffs. She looked around. It was muddy in a few places, and there was a small river going through. I...can maybe get fish... she thought, walking beside it, but not too close, to get a view. Amoungst other problems, she couldn't swim. She'd never tried before. Lilly shivered and spotted a decent sized cave with a tree near it. She headed there.

Popping his head out of one of the smaller caves a bit down the river, Vant noticed the woman heading over towards one of the caves he hadn't checked yet. "Careful, that one might still be inhabited."

Lilly jumped when she heard his voice. She watched him warily for a moment, then ducked inside the cave. It smelled of dung, so she left it. It was inhabited. By a bear or other animal by the smell. She continued her march down the river to find a home.

Since his search wasn't going too well, he followed her from above, waiting to see if she needed any help, and ready to lend assistance.

Lilly found none that weren't already inhabitted. She turned and headed back to the slick path up the cliffs to continue looking in the forest.

She must have run out of caves down this way. Vant circled around and kept following from above and behind her.

She began her climb up the path, almost slipping once, but then continued up and reached the top and headed back into the forest.
