"Ha! Maybe I could work at the cafe... What skills do I need to work there?" Arden questioned, she had went cross-eyes when he flicked her nose and then looked back at Jason and gave a mock glare. She chuckled softly, watching his face, she had been surprised when she told him how old he was, he didn't look like it.

"Can you make coffee? That's all I require....Now if you worked for Darius, the other owner, well....You need other skills." he replied, chuckling at her cross-eyed moment. Jason smiled at the shock in her eyes at his age. That was normal. Apparently he didn't look that old. He went spacey for a moment, and mumbled, "Maybe I should put make-up on."

She let out another slight laugh and shook her head, gently patting his shoulder. "You don't need make up, all natural is the way to be, that's how I roll." Arden stated to him, and let out a proud sounding sigh as she patted her face gently. "Make up is bad for your skin." She added to her little lecture and gave him a wink and a chuckle before looking to the moon for awhile.

Jason's cheeks held a little color at her lecture. He looked at his shoulder, scowling slightly. "I know make-up is bad for the skin." he muttered, scolding himself for spacing. "So do you want the job or not?" he asked, getting a little snappish in self-defense, but he calmed himself and shot her an apologetic look in case she was offended.

She chuckled at his snappish tone and looked at the apologetic look and shrugged her shoulders. "Sure i'll take the job, you want me to come tomorrow morning then?" Arden asked, sitting up straight and getting into a more serious state and aura. She watched him with a half lidded gaze, getting lazy once again.

Jason stood and stretched his arms. "Of course. That would be wonderful. Whenever in the morning is fine." he told her and looked down at her. "I have to get home now. I hope you have a safe walk home, Arden." he reached down and took her hand, kissing it. "It was a pleasure getting to know you. Have a good evening." With that, he walked away and headed back to his apartment.

She was silent and gave him a wave goodbye and then looked down at her hand and blushed. Standing she swallowed and then stuck her hands into her pockets and lazy walked in the other direction to her own apartment. Once there, she opened the door and then shut it behind her and locked it, sighing she went around the house, locking everything or double checking that it was locked. Finally she got into her pajamas and then climbed into her white bed and laid down, falling asleep quickly.

Jason stayed up all night, unable to sleep, and was exhausted by the time it was time to go. Yawning, he dressed in a tight black shirt and jeans, emphasizing his muscles, and then going about his other morning rituals. He normally skipped breakfast and ate at the coffee shop.
He got to the coffee shop at 6 in the morning and let in his usual early birds. Karin, David, Joshua, and some old fat guy he didn't know were alwyas there in the morning. He served them, took a seat and nibbled at a muffin and sipped at some black coffee. He was waiting for Arden to come and take her job.

Waking up she had a shower, brushed her teeth, brushed her hair and then got dressed ina white t-shirt and some long blue jeans, she wore some beige sandles to. Leaving her house at around eight o'clock she walked slowly to the cafe and then went inside, seeing a few people and then Jason.
Arden walked over to him and gave a small smile, looking him over. He seems tired. She thought and stood near where he sat. "Hello." She muttered out softly to him and scratched her neck gently.

"Hm." he replied and bent down to pick something up. Jason tossed her an apron. "Grab a stool and just wait for the teenagers to come." he told her, voice that of someone who was exhausted and should take a nap. He seemed cranky too. Jason glowered into space, frowning.

Catching the apron she put it on like she was told to do and went and sat on a stool as well. She rolled her eyes at his attitude but just forgot about it and started to just daze off for awhile. Her mind really didn't think of anything besides some Jimi Hendrix songs that she sang mentally to keep herself occupied.

Jason watched her sleep, glaring at her. He never slept on the job! Almost reaching over to wake her, he stopped himself and thought for a moment. I should let her sleep. It doesn't matter to me if I die of sleep deprivation or not. I'll be back to life in moments. he thought and moved away from her. Jason stayed up and let her sleep till noon, when people started to come in.
Shaking her gently, he mumbled loud enough for her to hear, "Wake up, Arden. We have customers." His tone and aura was gentle now, not very cranky anymore. His eyes were still tired, and he was definately still sleepy.

Her eyes opened at the touch and she blinked and then gaze a laugh. "I wasn't asleep, Jason." Arden stated before standing up and straightening herself out. "It's called relaxing, you should try it." She joked and smiled at him and then went to work, she went behind the counter and started to take orders and make the drinks. She was quiet and smiled to the customers a lot and was pretty much polite to them all.

Jason huffed at her joke and began to make the drinks asked for as well. "Relaxing, huh? Never heard of it. Do explain how it works." he teased back, smiling slightly at her, and then glaring at the customers who were rude to him.

"Hm, well the way I relax is to listen to music or a calming sound or thing of music or a calming sound and just let your body release all of the pent up emotions." She replied to him and handed one of the customers a drink and smiled at them. Arden got smiles back from most of the people besides the grouchy-er people, it wasn't like she cared at all though.
