Arden locked the door behind her when she left and then walked to the cafe, she had a thoughtful look on her face. Sighing softly she rubbed her cheek and after about twenty minutes ahe got to work. Walking in she smiled at some people and then got on her apron.

Jason smiled at Arden when she came in, and continued to work. His aura was very light, and that seemed to unease and ease some people. Mostly his regulars were uneased, while new comers were not. It was funny to watch.

She served people like usual and after a few hours had a coffee, paying for it like she usually did. Hm... I love coffee. If it was a person I prbably would've stalked it from the day it was orn and marry it when it was old enough to be maried. Arden thought to herself, taking a sip of the coffee.

Jason sat down at lunch and ate something a kid had gotten for him. "Hey, Arden, that kid over there is working here too now." he told her and pointed to a blonde-haired boy that looked about 16. "And we'll probably get another one later next week."

She looked over at the kid and smiled at him. Arden then looked to Jason and nodded her head in understanding. Hey. I like him if he's nice, if he's not i'm going to kick his ass. Arden thought to herself, smiling happily over her coffee cup and givign a soft chuckle.

"He is our errand boy." he joked, and winked at the kid. In a way, the new kid was. If Jason needed something but was busy, he'd go and get it for Jason. "So how's your lunch?" he asked, taking a bite of a french fry.

"It's good." She stated, sitting back in her seat a bit more and having another drink of her coffee, she looked up at the ceiling, her lips pursing. "Hm. I wonder... Hm..." Arden mumbled to herself in thought and then nodded. "Yeah... that's what i'll do." She stated quietly.

"What?" Jason asked, curiousity peaked. She was talking about doing something, and now he was curious. Damn her. The blonde boy walked around the counter to make coffee. Jason was watching him.

"I'm, going to the dollar store after work to buy some Red Hot Gum. It's very good, tastes like cinnamon." Arden said and smiled to herself, she thought it was rather stupid but she didn't really care, she was only 18 afterall, she didn't always have to have a reason.

"Oh." he sighed. He'd gotten his hopes up for something juicy. "Yeah...that gum is good." He agreed absently and stood quickly and ran behind the counter to explain soemthing to newbie.

She watched him do this and chuckled to herself quietly, shaking her head. My heart, my heart. Kickstart my heart~~~! Arden sang to herself, eyes closing and her head leaning back on the chair.

The day ended quickly and it was time to close up. "Uh...Want a ride home, either of you?" The new kid said now and left. He looked at Arden for an answer.

"No thank you, I am going to the dollar store." She blankly and gave him a smile. "See you tomorrow morning." Arden said as she took off her apron, hung it up and then went to leave.

Jason stopped her for a moment to kiss her goodbye, then smiled at her. "Bye. See you tomorrow." he told her and left, getting into the car and going home. He fed Cherub and ate dinner himself, then watched TV and then went to sleep.

((Lol. How do you use money over there? I have like looney's amd toonies and stuff like that. XD I get so confused talking about money now.))
Arden went to the dollar store and got three packs of that gum she wanted for a dollar. She went back home and had some gum and listened to music, she was watching the old much music where they actually played videos all day.
