Jason nodded adn watched her go, then turned and headed home. Once home, he took a cold pill and went about working on his filing.

John popped up in front of Jason, he stood on the table, looking at his nails for awhile. "'Ello there, boos. 'Ow's it comin'?" He questioned and walked over to a stack of paper that was almost as large as he was. He blinked and went on his tippy toes, looking at it.

"It's coming well, you?" he asked, looking at John and stifling a chuckle at the imp's size. Wonder what that's like...I heard someone repeating a joke that short people walk in fart clouds all day... he thought.

He glared at his boss and shook his head. "Are you laughing at my size? Even though i'm only half a foot tall, green, skinny and have big ears and nose doesn't mean you can make fun of me size." John pouted, flopping down onto his put, he took off his post mans hat and scratched his head gently with long clawed fingers.

Jason smiled crookedly at him. "Aren't you my servent? Doesn't that mean I can?" he asked. "And...it's funny. You barely reach that stack of papers there..." he explained in an apologetic tone.

Grumbling he shook his head, hat being put back onto his head and then his arms crossing, his wings flopped down onto the table. "Whatever, boss. Technically i'm only your servant for awhile, then you'll get higher ranking imps, they'll be stronger then I am." John said, he didn't like the stronger guys, they were rude.

Jason frowned. "But...I like you already." he told him. "Do I have to get a new one later? You seem perfectly fine to me..." He did not understand that leveling up and keeping weak servents was probably a bad move.

"Well... I can't do as much as the other creatures can. All i can do is conjure up spells, help with your paperwork and run errands and show you what other people are doing and such." John said with a snort, he wasn't to weak, he just made out that he was not very strong. What he lacked in strenh though he still made up in smarts.

"Sounds like my kind of assistant." he told him. "I don't care if you aren't physically strong, as long as you're smart, that's fine with me." Jason smiled at the imp.

John smiled a bit but shook his head. "That means nothing though, Master death will still send me away to someone else and you'll get someone else. It's alright, you'll like 'em better then an imp." He said with a wink and began to help out with the paper work.

Jason sighed. "Yeah...Okay..." he mumbled, working on the paperwork too. After an hour or so, he looked at John. "Would you like anything to eat? I have to feed Cherub soon." he offered the imp.

"Naw, thank you. I don't eat food, i'm not alive anymore." He said with a grin coming out from behind his muzzle sort of snot thing. He did more paperwork and scratched his face gently, happy with just doing that.

Jason nodded and stood to go feed Cherub and get himself something to eat and drink. He returend moments later, eating a salad. "WHat's it like to be dead and not eat?"

He shrugged, still doing the paperwork from before. "Well... It's just a normal feeling, you still feel whole and stuff but you're never hungry or thirtsy and you're never tired, but you can sleep." John answered the man, reading from apeice of paper as he did so.

Jason nodded, thinking how that felt. "Hm...Why does that remind me of something..." he pondered aloud.
