Colby followed and began to fill the bathtub with warm water. Once it was full, she motioned for him to get in. She wasn't sure if dogs had to use a special soap or conditioner, so she just ahd the human stuff handy.

He got into the tub and his tag wagged lazily, his eyes closed, waiting for her to start soaping him up.

She began to scrub his fur gently. Colby had fun washing his fur and making it clean. How come there's a coffee shop downstairs? Who owns it?

It's not a coffee shop! It's a jazz bar... But I guess it's easy to mistake the two. I own that downstairs to. He told her and gave a happy sigh.

Colby blinked in confusion. ...Okay...Are you a rich dog? You are human in disguise or something, aren't you? she asekd again, frowning. She began to finish up his scrub. It was a little hard, because teh soap kept getting back on his fur.

He gave a deep laugh and opened his eyes, looking at her from the side. Yes, you've found me out, but you're more comfortable around animals then humans from what I can see. Pain stated and shook his his body a bit, sending some water flying out of the tub.

Colby wrinkled her nose and covered her face. You're done. she told him after a moment, with no comment to how right he was on the comfort of being with animals. Which guy are you? she asked after a moment.

He got out of the tub, shaking off completely and then turning back into human form, he was fully clothed and gave her a slight grin. "I was the guy that gave you the joint." Pain told her and ruffled up his now wet hair.

The mental connection faded a bit due to human form. She could still talk, but out of habit, she didn't. She nodded and stayed seated on the ground, looking up at him.

"Aw, baby doll." Pain cooed and kneeled down near her, looking concerned for her. "I'm sorry for not showing you immediatetly."

Colby blushed, and although she didn't mean to, flinched away slightly. She looked guilty a moment later and moved back, putting her arms around him in an embrace. She was actually glad it was the joint-guy from earlier.

He hugged her back gently, he felt very bad for lying, though she had guessed easily it was him before. "Do you want me to turn back into a dog?"

She shrugged. It didn't matter too much to her either way. She was just happy it was a guy that had drugs, was caring, and could be a doggy. She found herself smiling against his shirt, hugging him tighter.

He chuckled quietly and rubbed her back gently. "Do you want to smoke a joint with me?" Pain asked her, he was in need of one, it had been a whole day since he hadn't had one, that was a record.

She nodded. That was fine with her. Colby released him and stood, getting ready to follow him wherever he went to smoke.
