Sighing Gage stared at her a moment later. He needed to leave, he had to try and track the wolf before he left the city and returned to his homeland.
With one last glance to Taryn, he left.

Taryn woke early to get ready for her day the next morning. She showered, dressed, and applied some make-up before heading downstairs. Her dad greeted her with a big hug, then left for work. She went to make breakfast for the family. Her mother would be home soon. Her mother worked night shifts at the hospital.

Gage returned to his house just before dawn, his body tired and needing rest. He had never had so much trouble trying to find a person before.
There had been no sight of the wolf, and Gage feared that he had already left the town.

Taryn left the house around noon, reluctantly driving to the outskirts of town to meet up with her friends. She was absolutely petrified of the woods, and always will be in her mind, and the outskirts was just too close to the woods. She sighed as she drove, strumming her fingers to the beat on the radio. I should get a copy of their CDs from Molly, she thought. Molly was her friend who adored Dante's Downfall.
She pulled up in the parking lot of where they were supposed to meet. She was the first one there. Taryn zipped her black hoodie up and wandered around absently, taking a paved path through a small area of a garden. She could see the woods from there, and something told her she would be seeing them more often.
She was meeting her friends to go to some small middle-of-no-where teenager's hangout. On a rumor, her friends, Molly and Sara, had heard that many 'famous' musicians hung out there. Taryn was only going because her friends asked, and she needed to get out a bit more.
