((nevermind, and my dad says Hi))
Jason read the essay and picked it up, putting it away and took the old essay and slid it in a box that was labled Serenity. He would make her a box of things for her when she finished training. He'd tell her he'd torn the essay again, and she had to do another one. THe reason behind this odd tearing of essays was so she'd remember the information, even though it'd probably make her hate him. He didn't like flash-cards.

Comming down for breakfast the next day, Serenity gave him a cautious look. "Were training today, right?" she said, knowing she'd done a good job on the essay.

"Nope, same thing as yesterday," he answered and helped himself to another thing of toast. "I'm going to be leaving in ten minutes, so throw your fit now."

Outraged at not only his cockiness, but also his disrespectful inferior regard towards her, she decided it was time to change the rules in the game he seemed to be playing with her. "Fine." she said, raising her eyebrow at him and walking off.

(( tell your dad hi for me too and just pretend this message is part of my last message, lol, sorry)) She refused to act like a child and throw a so-called fit, to allow him to have that power over her. Realizing she was making a fool of herself by acting as she had theese past few days, she resolved that she'd have to change if she hoped to survive her stay here.

He was shocked she didn't scream at him. He shrugged and headed out to go to where he hid away for the day while he visited the souls of the dead.

Finishing her third and most thorough essay on whips as the sun went down, Serenity sighed as she slid it under his bedroom door. "Deja Vu." she mumbled to herself, deciding to take a small walk around the mansion in need for some fresh air. Finding a spot near a large willow tree, Serenity took her sketch pad and pencil with her, sketching the sunset taking place before her.

He came home around midnight. He walked over the essay once in his room, and would read it the next morning. He crashed, his door wide open, as his head hit the bed.

The next morning, Serenity got up aroudn 3 A.M. and worked out for three hours, determined to transform herself into an efficient warrior. Meeting him at the dinning room table around 6, she looked at him expectantly, waiting to hear his analysis of her essay as she used a towel to wipe the sweat off her face.

"Write one more essay," he told her, staring at the plate silently and looking exhausted. "Leave it on this table when your done. Tomorrow we'll start training."

"What have you been up to? You look exhausted?" she asked, not expecting to get an honest response out of him but feeling the need to ask anyway.

"Work," he answered. "One more essay," he repeated and stood. "If you'll excuse me, I have to go back to work."

Giving him a weary glance, she nodded and did as he'd instructed, wondering what exactly his work entailed. Yet again sliding her fourth and final essay under his door at the end the day, she decided to create a sketch of Lilly, Mikayla, and Jason, all smiling and laughing across from each other at the table just as they had that night at dinner. At the bottom of the picture, she wrote Just a little something i hope'll raise your spirits, before sliding it under his bedroom door and heading off to bed.

Jason came back late and once again did not read over the essay or glance at the picture- he just went to sleep on the bed. He awoke early the next morning and glanced down and went to retrieve. He looked over the essay first, then looked at the picture. He stared at it silently for a long time, before smiling and pinning it to his wall. He walked out of the room and shut the door and headed downstairs. He left a note in the dining room to meet him in the weapons room.

Reading the note in the dinnig room when she finally came out of her room, she rushed to the weapons room, eager to finally begin their training. Flashing him an excited smile when she saw him, she immediately scanned the room for the whips, eager to feel them under their hands again.
