She gulped and spoke. "Go away!" she screamed. Okay, speaking calmly not going to happen. "Just go away! I don't want to talk to you or see you!" Stephen's sobs got louder.
Caryssa shook her head. "Yeah, no, can't fight." She said in an honest voice and looked at him in confusion.

As the fact that Damon was stark naked, there was blood on the walls and the carpet, and Stephen was locked in her bathroom scared as hell of him started to fit together like a puzzle. He had raped her- and judging from the blood, he had taken her violently. Banging his head against the wall, Damon cursed to himself, dropping to his knees. "Fuck, fuck ,fuck, fuck, fuck." Damon muttered to himself, his hands running through his hair. This was bad, really bad. He hadn't been lying when he said Stephen had been the only thing holding him together through all this. Now, not only were they not on good terms, but she was stark scared of him. "Stephen..." Damon called through the door, his voice remorseful as ever, "Please....I'm not drunk now.....I mean....I'm myself....." Aw shit , how were they going to work through this. It wasn't as if he could just leave the two females unprotected for however long it took for Stephen to forgive him, and they were going to have to relocate back to the mansion anyways to start rebuilding the place and get ADH back up and running. Leaning up against the wall, Damon resolved to wait there for however long it took for Stephen to come out of the bathroom.
"But you can heal." The man said, raising an eyebrow at her. "And you are Aynon, are you not? Seperated at birth from your mother and father?" Aynon stiffened, not liking the direction this conversation was taking. "Why?" Aynon asked, suspicion marring his voice.

Stephen stayed put in the bathroom, not believing him for a second. He may sound remorseful but she wasn't going to let it ebb at her heart or her anger and hurt- her pain. The next noise she heard, however, forced her to at least stand and waddle (her lower half hurt so bad) to the door and listen. Colby had come in. "Damon, where's..." Colby paused when she caught a whiff of the blood. She recognized it to not only be Stephen's blood, but her sex. She looked at the small splatters and the strewn sheet, then to the door where Stephen cowered behind and to the naked, guilt-filled Damon. Colby paled and left the room, feeling sick as well. When she came back, she tossed some clothes she'd found in his closet. "If you want her to..." Colby breathed, still pale and disgusted and sad, and then continued. "If you want her to come out at all, you had better be clothed and sober." Colby knew she had no right to be bossy towards Damon, but after what he'd done to Stephen, she didn't really care. "Where are her clothes?" She asked, and heard a feeble answer from beyond the door. Colby went to retrieve those as well. She reluctantly stood by Damon and told Stephen it was her out there, and that she had clothes for her. Stephen opened the door long enough for Stephen to grab the clothes, and long enough that both of them would see what Damon had done to her. The side of her face covered in bandages from the beating Zhadist had given her now needed to be on the other side of her face. Her lips were cracked and there was dried blood under her nose and a nasty greenish bruise on her cheek. Her eyes were puffy and red from crying and only a few hours of sleep. Her right breast had a lot of blood coated on it from the bite she had recieved, and it was swelling from the scab and the bruises. Bruises kissed everything below her breasts. Her inner thigh had blood coated to the hair, as well as some other fluid, matting it in way that wasn't natural. The door slammed shut and was locked while she rinsed off and dressed, crying even more. Colby moved away from Damon and sat on the bed, not looking at him. She was shocked with his behavior. The drinking she could understand- he'd lost his brother- but Jesus Christ- he'd raped a woman. Someone she knew he had a thing for. "Excuse me," she said softly and left the room, needing water or a trash can. Her eyes filled with tears and she wished Hayven were there again- he'd know what to do....Hell, this wouldn't have happened if he hadn't died. She filled a glass with water and guzzled it quickly, and then drank some more and more and more until she knew she had to go back. She had water for Stephen as she returned, as well as pain pills. She thought of how the woman had always wanted some alcohol to drink...She wondered if Damon would allow Stephen some temporary loss of reality that evening, if Stephen wanted some. Stephen hesitantly came out and moved to where Colby was on the bed, shaking so much it looked like she was an apparition as she walked. Stephen didn't look at Damon, and kept the side of her face he'd battered away from him. Colby handed her the water and murmured something to her, trying to get her to drink the water and take the pain pill. Colby regretted it a second later, when Stephen burst into tears and hid her face in her hands to hide her tears. Colby moved away and pulled her touch away, unsure of how to console the woman. Stephen had started to cry again when Colby had asked her to try to take the pain pill, the thought of 'I shouldn't even need it,' running through her head. Colby was starting to cry again. She didn't know how to help the woman who had helped her so much lately.
Caryssa nodded. "I can heal..." she agreed softly and glanced at Aynon then to the man as he continued to speak. Her eyes widened in surprise at the comment. These people knew him? Were they really friends or were they foes? She looked to Aynon, eyes filling with worry and body growing anxious in concern. They had helped them, but now that they recognized them...She licked her lips. She wondered how long this was going to take. She had a bad vibe suddenly- She felt like somewhere someone she cared for if not more than just one were in pain. She tapped her foot to try and get the feeling to fade away.

((ah!!!! this is soooooo sad!))
Damon started at Stephen, horror filling his features as he realized what he had done to her. God, he had worked her over worse than Zhadist. Stephen, the only woman he had ever even had any feelings for whatsoever- he had burtalized and raped. "Oh god...." Damon said, looking down at her. What if his fire demon had decided to make an appearance, he could have burned her to a crisp. "Oh god.." Damon repeated as he looked down at what he had done. "I......" he stopped himself, knowing I'm sorry wouldn't heal her bruises or fix the emotional pain he had caused her. He'd always known there had been evil in him, always felt it and tried to seperate it from the person he wanted to be, but looking down at Stephen now, he realized he'd never been a person at all- just a monster, all evil. Damon swallowed hard, bolting for the door. He had to get out of here, leave this place before he hurt her even more. His prescence was obviously disturbing her to the point where she was convulsing- christ, what had he done. He deserved to be locked up, locked up and put down like the dog he was. Damon stumbled as fast as he could down the staircase, forcing himself outside the Mansion and into the hummer. As he sat there in the car, he realized he was still naked. The second he'd laid eyes on Stephen and what he had done to her, Colby's voice and actions had been nothing more than a distant buzz in the back of his mind. Damon picked up his phone, dialing the only number he knew would help, "Chase..I... I've done something horrible..."Chase had been Damon's twin's best friend, and the two of them had comforted eachother during and after the death of Damon's twin. Their friendship had grown stronger, and they were there for one another when they needed eachother. Damon's twin had always, as Damon put it, been his better half. He wouldn't have ever done something like this.....or let Damon, if he'd still been alive. As Damon explained the situation to the man as best he could without having any memory of the actual event, Chase quickly agreed to fill in as he apparated to Victor's mansion. Damon couldn't stand to look the man in the eyes, or even himself in the mirror, as he nodded a thank-you to him before driving off. Damon had no idea where he was going, or what he even planned to do whenever he got to where he was going. All he knew was that he had to get as far away from the mansion- from stehpen- as he could. He couldn't even think about what he'd done to her...at least not right now.
As Chase watched his friend drive off, he wandered how the guy had gotten so lost. He'd known Damon before all this shit had happened, and he'd genuinely been a decent guy, maybe even moral. But this..... this wasn't the same guy. He had a dead look in his eyes, one the scared the hell out of Chase. I guess loosing two brothers could do that to a guy. Walking up the mansion steps, Chase had no trouble finding the two women in the mansion- all he had to do was follow the sounds of the cries. Knocking on the door a few times, Chase waited to be welcomed in before he pushed open the door. Chase had a tall, toned frame, his face bearing a remarkable resembelance to Chase Crawford, which was who he'd named himself after. He'd forgotten his identity years ago, just woken up on the side of a street corner not knowing who he was or where he'd come from. Damon's twin had befriended him, letting him stay at their place alot of the time since he was pretty much homeless. Eventually, Chase had gotten a job and a place to stay, though he was always close to Damon's twin and the rest of his family.
"Oh, god, we've been looking for you for so long." The man said, warmth filling his eyes as similar expressions crossed the rest of the men's faces. "You are the rightful heir to the elven throne. We need your help if we ever hope to overthrow the current dictatorship-" "What?" Aynon said, surprise mixed with disbelief filling his features. "You've got the wrong guy. I'm not even full elf. I mean, come on. Lokk at me." Aynon looked nothing like the men surrounding him, his ears were more round than pointy, his build more broad than slim. "It is as the prophecy stated. A son borne of both races would rise to power, the first of his kind." Reaching foreward, the man grabbed Aynon's arm and pushed up the sleeve before Aynon could recoil, revealing the glowing mark. "It is proof, ingrained in your very skin- you bear the mark of the royal family..." Aynon pulled back, shaking his head. "I'm very sorry sir, but I am not the man you are looking for." He knew it all made sense, the memories of the foreign lullabies, the odd symbol on his hand- but denial tasted sweeter than truth at this point. "You have the traits of an inborn leader, do you not? You take charge, demand power, maintain control even in the midst of chaos. And you turned her-" The man said, pointing to Caryssa, "She's an elf, is she not. But she was previously a human. There's a reason there has been no record of an elven transition, because only elves of the royal family possess the ability to do such. It is in your blood, you cannot deny your destiny. And the girl, she now also has royal blood running through her, passed on from you. You both belong here, with your people." Aynon looked back at Caryssa, wanting to know her reaction more than anything else- after all, these were her people, maybe she wanted to learn from them. ((will finish rest later, went to take a shower)))

Colby had stood long enough to let the person inside. She wiped her face and looked him over. "Who are you?" she asked, wiping her eyes. Stephen was in the bathroom, washing her face again before she too was out in the hall with Colby and Chase, her gaze downcast while her blond hair swirled around her protectively. Stephen had her arms crossed, but they were pulled in close to her as if to hug herself protectively.
Caryssa stared at the men as they spoke and informed Aynon of his significant history and family. She looked at Aynon, eyes wide and wanting to know how he was reacting. She looked back to the other elves as they commented on the ability to turn. She blinked in shock and looked at Aynon, unsure how to react to this information. Shocked seemed to be the best option at this point.

"You must be Hayven's wife..." Chase said, glancing down at her swollen belly. "Congratulations." He said, giving her a small smile before averting his attention to Stephen. "And you must be Stephen...jesus..Damon really did a number on you." Chase said, taking a step towards her and surveying her wounds. "My name's Chase...I'm a family friend. Damon had to leave...he explaind to me what happened.." Chase said, a sad look crossing his face. "Look, I need to examine you..." he said, his eyes stopping on Stephen. "I am trained as a doctor, and I brought all the proper medical equipment to care for your situation." Chase said, his voice soft and gentle as he spoke to her.
"I have...family that I need to attend to. They are in grave danger, and without me there-" "The danger has already passed during your absence, as has one of your brothers." The elf informed him, having kept dibs on the whole family, not just Aynon. Aynon's eyes narrowed, his teeth grinding together as fear gripped him. "Who?" Aynon asked through clenched teeth, knowing losing either of his brother would be devastating. "I believe you called him Hayven." The elf said, looking to the others as if to confirm. Aynon inhaled sharply, understanding what the pain in his chest frmo earlier had been caused by. He looked down, not wanting to show his emotions as he knew they would be seen as a sign of weakness. "We are prepared to make a trade." The man said, clearing his throat. "Your brother, he has not yet fully passed. We have walkers..those that have died for a few minutes before comming back to life. THey could retreive his soul, but..... it is only a service preformed for the royal family....if we were to provide for you this service, that would mean you and your wife accepting the throne." Aynon made no movement to correct them, knowing he had no choice, although the elves phrased it as if he did. Loooking back at Caryssa, he sought her permissions to accept, not wanting to enslave her to the same fate he'd been destined to. His brother had died because he had left the only family he'd ever known to seek out these people and save Caryssa- now, however, it seemed that he was asking her to sacrifice the very life he'd left his family to give her for the sake of his brother. It was a horrible situation to be in, and he wasn't even sure if he could ask of her what they required. Looking back at the elves, he pegged them with a serious look before saying, "Not the both of us- just me. She is not neccessary for me to take the throne."

Colby let out a small noise of surprise and happiness, but she nodded sadly. Stephen nodded pitifully. She hesitated before mumbling an okay. "W- Which room?" she asked, wanting to know where to strip down and get ready for some sort of make-shift stirrup probably. She shifted uncomfortably in her posture, as if recalling something. "Are you staying till Damon gets back?" she asked, this being a preceeding question to the one that was bothering her.
Caryssa paled in sadness at the information. Someone died? She licked her lips and ducked her head down sadly to hear it was Colby's lover. That was one of her pangs- Colby's sorrow. She looked up at being called Aynon's wife, which made her flush. She looked up at Aynon, reading his expression with silence as she decided very quickly. "I'll take it with you," she said very quietly and quickly so only Aynon would hear- well, she hoped only he'd hear. "I'll take it if you'll let me..."

Chase eyed the blonde, trying to figure out what she was getting at. "Damon probably won't be back for a long time....And even then, I'm not sure that leaving him alone is the best idea...He's not stable enough to think clearly, especially in a situation like this.." Chase said, "Why?" he asked, presuming she probably didn't want to be around Damon unless there was someone else around that could physically hold him back, but wanting to be sure. "What uh...what exactly was the nature of the relationship you two shared, if you don't mind me asking?" Chase added, feeling it would help him gain more perspective on the situation.
Aynon froze, not expecting that reaction out of her. Turning to face her so that he had his back to the elves, he spoke to her in a hushed voice to try and keep as much of their conversation as he could between only the two of them. "Caryssa....are you sure? This....this is permanent, not something we can go back from. You'll never be able to have a normal life, not even as an elf. We may be able to have visitors from time to time, but we won't be able to leave, and we'll have to summon them to us instead of going to them." Aynon knew enough about how a kingdom was run, regardless of the race, to know the seriousness of what was taking place. "And...it sounds like they may be in the middle of a civil war if they're some type of resistance. It'll be dangerous, and there'll probably be assassination attempts." He added, his jaw tight.

"It...We liked each other, but that was it. We almost had sex, but he lost control and went all flame-on, so we didn't, and then I guess he got drunk and..." She didn't finish. It was obvious what happened though. "The reason I ask is...You have...home...pregnancy...things, right?" she asked. She was due in a week. "If not...I wasn't sure if me or Colby can...leave, you know?"
Caryssa looked down at her feet. "I...I haven't told you this, so don't hate me or anything-" She didn't mean it or anything. "But...I really...want a new...life with you." SHe flushed and averted her gaze before looking up at him. "So I'm sure."

"Ahh, don't worry about that. I have a few of those with me- as a doctor I'm stocked with basically anything you can imagine." he explained. "It would probably be better if you stayed inside with the state your in, and in a few days I'm going to have to put Colby in bedrest. Besides, with all the stress that you two have been through, I wouldn't be surprised if she suffers premature labor." he added, shaking his head. "Anyways, why don't you go back into your room and get changed, " he said, handing her the medical dresses that were about as thin as paper, "While I check on Colby and get her lied down. She'd probably be better off if I started her on bedrest right now." he said, more to himself than to her. "I'll be back in a few minutes." he reassured her as he started down the hallway towards Colby's room, knocking before he entered.
Aynon was shocked to say the least, which was probably made more than obviouse by the blush creeping onto his face despite his best efforts. "I..ah..I would like that too." he said, a small smile creeping onto his face as he took her hand in his before turning back to the fiven men. "We accept." Aynon said, his vocie steady and cofident. The men exchanged looks, one leaving soon after. "It is done..." the man said, his smile stretching from ear to ear as he ushered Aynon foreward. "We are glad to know that you have accepted your rightful place on the throne. We have no time to waste. You and your bride must be trained in combat in order to defend yourselves. It would be catastrophic if either of you met an early demise. And, of course, once we seize the throne, your marriage must be consumated, and you must formally accept the crown to the throne." Aynon reddened at the mention of consumating their marriage, his mid drifting back to the mini makeout session they'd had in the forest for only a moment before he refocused his thoughts. "What about my brother, how will you-" "He has already been brought back to this world, and his body has been reunited with his soul. He should rise in his resting place." Aynon nodded, hoping to god whatever magic the elves had preformed had managed to save his brother. "As is customary, from this point foreward the two of you will be reffered to as king Aynon and Queen Caryssa, as will all who are in your presence bow down." The man said, getting to his knees and bowing to the both of them. Aynon flinched, obviously uncomfortbale with someone bowing to him. "Ahh, its alright, you don't have to do that." he said, trying to pull the man to his feet. "But we must." The man said, obviously wanting to stick to traditional customs. Not wanting to upset the man, Aynon exchanged an anxious look with Caryssa. "So...what now?" he asked, hoping to move past the now awkward situation. "You both need to eat, it seems you haven't eaten in several days." The man said , ushering them foreward into a different room. "Please excuse the impoverish state of the building the resistance has been reduced to operating in, it seems that we are short on both soldiers and funds." he said as he seated them in at a rickety looking table.
Blinking several times, Hayven felt as if he had woken from a deep sleep as he stretched out. *What the hell!" he thought, opening his eyes to totall darkness. As he stretched out his hands, he pushed on whatever was in front of him until it broke. He'd never really been the clostrophobic type, but he didn't like waking up not knowing where he was. Finally, the surface he was pushing against broke as light trickled in, allowing him to sit up. Looking around, he realized he'd been in a cofifn. "Aww man! That's right, I died." Hayven said, putting his hand on his head. There was no hole, or even an indentation where the bullet had gone through him. "Guess the big man up there likes me." Hayven smiled as he crawled out of the coffin, his muscles stiff and sore from the whole being dead thing. Slowly getting to his feet, his thoughts immediately went to Colby. God, how long had he been dead. He hoped he hadn't missed the birth. Stumbling foreward, he pushed open the doors to what he could only assume was Victor's basement and climbed up the stairs. *Hey, at least they took me with them* he thought, smiling as he woozily ran to the front of the mansion door and up the stairs. Hearing noises comming from one of the nearby rooms, presumably two people talking, he recognized one of them to be Chase and the other to be Colby. What the hell was Chase doing here. Pushing open the door, he didn't bother with hello's as he scooped Colby up into his arms, hugging her tightly.

Colby was about to show him her room but was interupted by...Hayven? She let out a squeak of surprise and her eyes widened in a seizure of emotions. Freaked-out (was that qualified to be an emotion?), joy, surprise, joy, joy...pure bliss, lust, love, lust, lost (combo of love/lust). "Hayven!" She yelled happily and started to check his head for a bullet hole, or any hole in general. Finding none (aside from the ears), she hugged him so tight she could have broken bones. She kissed him over and over again, hugging him tight and crying softly in happiness. "Hayven, ohmygod, Hayven," she kept saying and kissing him.
Stephen watched the reunion silently, still hugging herself. She smiled feebly, happy for Colby and Hayven, geninuely enough. She went to her room to give them some privacy, feeling awkward watching that love...She hugged the flimsy hospital gown to her chest and sunk to the floor, crying. Auntie was right. I'm never going to have that. she thought, stiffling a sob by clamping her teeth on the gown and holding on tight. I need 23 cats. Some sarcasm was at least left in her.
Caryssa flushed at the phrase 'consumate the marriage' as well, surprised that term still existed. She'd only heard it in that Kristen Dunst movie where she played the lady- Marie Anntoinette. She looked up at Aynon, still pinkened, then to the man and then around the impoverished area. She heard herself mumble something about it being fine- she'd never been anywhere super ritzy since she'd been to the mansion, and she'd barely seen that place- but her stomach was definitely in tune to what the man was saying. She was starving.

"Good!" Hayven said, feeling her swollen belly pressed up against him. "You haven't had the kids yet! I was worried I might miss it!" he confessed, swinging her around in his arms as he kissed every inch of her face. "I had to come back! You didn't think I was going to let some smooth talking guy that has the hots for you come in and swoop you up for themselves!" he laughed, holding onto her although not as tightly as before. Turning his attention to Chase for a breif second, he clapped the man on the shoulder, not wanting to let Colby go just quite yet. "Hey, Chase. What's up? " Hayven said, remembering the guy was a doctor and figuring one od his brothers had called him to care for Colby. "What's your diagnosis for my girl, buddy?" he asked, obviously overjoyed to have her in his arms. "Well, the pregnancy appears to be comming alone fine, but I'm recommending that she be put on bedrest." *Well, thats where she'll be anways.* Hayven thought, a mischevious smile crossing his face as he planned on picking up where they had left off in the dream. Recognizing his friends smile immediately, Chase cleared his throat before saying, "That means no physical activity, even if she's lying down. Sorry Hayven." Hayven sighed, resigning himself of two more weeks do daydreaming about having sex with her and being horny as hell instead of doing the real thing. Picking her up bridal style, Hayven grinned as he walked Colby over to the bed. "Well, love, looks like were gonna have to be creative these next few weeks as far as entertaining ourselves while lying down on a bed goes." he said, still grinning at just being able to touch her and hear her voice and feel her skin against his and breathe in her scent again. Remembering he had another patient in the room a few doors down, Chase excused himself as he went to see Stephen. Pausing at the door as he heard her cries, Chase frowned as he realized what it must've been caused by. Hell, this girl didn't just need a doctor- she needed a psychaitrist. Knocking on the door, he figured he let the poor girl keep her dignity and give her time to compose herself before he just walked in.
After a moment of silence, the two were brought hearty meals of turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and macaronie. "My lady, my lord." the waiters said, bowing as they served them. Aynon shook his head, waiting till the men left to speak to Caryssa. "Wow, its gonna take a long time for me to get used to this whole king/lord stuff." he said, laughing as he dug into his food. He was ravenous, and although he hadn't realized it when he'd woken up, he could feel the hunger eating away at the pit of his stomach. "Caryssa...thank you..." Aynon said, pausing for a second before looking over at her. "You..you mean more to me than...." God he was bad with words, especially when he was trying to use them to describe emotions. "More than words can say....I mean, when I thought you were going to die, I.....nothing else mattered to me....." He finished, clearing his throat.

She laughed and kissed his cheeks, her lips lingering there. "I'm just so happy you're back...Oh my gosh so much has happened since you've been gone," she murmured, kissing closer to his lips. She was inhaling her scent with every breath, and she tasted him on her lips and she was just so happy to have him next to her again. "God...I missed you..."
Stephen wiped her eyes and sniffled, changing really quickly before opening the door. She kept her gaze on the ground. "Come in," she mumbled and moved aside to let the good doctor into her room.
Caryssa grunted in agreement to the lord/lady stuff as she stuffed her face. She was starving. She could feel her own stomach digesting itself. It was gross and painful. She paused when she realized they were alone and Aynon wanted to say something serious. Shes looked up at him, eyes curious but filling with warmth with each word. She leaned up and kissed his cheek, smiling as she pulled away as if to say the same sentiments went from her to him.

"I've just been dying to see you again." Hayven joked, grinning as he held onto her tightly. "What have I missed? Nothing important, I hope. You didn't throw any crazy parties without me, did you?" he teased, kissing her again just to taste her lips once more.
As Chase pushed open the door, he did his best to act like he hadn't just hear her crying. "Look, Stephen..." Chase said gently, "women who are raped....sometimes its a good idea for them to see a psychiatrist to help them work through it." Kneeling down beside her, he motioned for her to move over to the bed.
Aynon was embarrased enough about what he'd just said, making it even worse when she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "So, I guess this means were getting married." he laughed, thinking it was strange- he'd never pictured himself getting married, but he liked the idea when it was with Caryssa. "Who'da thought." he laughed, looking over at her.

Colby smiled and nuzzled him. "Damon's gone..." she started. "That's really all...He..." She swallowed and nuzzled him again. "He did something really bad to Stephen before he left." She didn't want to say 'he raped STephen while mourning for you,' but...That's what happened.
Stephen shut the door and listened to his advice. She moved and sat down on the bed. "I know," she mumbled. "Are you a psychiatrist?" she asked. "Cause I don't like my old one." She'd been to a few when she had the money for it, or the patience. She wiped her eyes again, just wanting to get his all over with.
"I know. Three weeks ago, I never would have thought of me being married," she said and shrugged and went to eat a bit more slowly. She smiled though. "This is going to be interesting..."
