Gregory turned his car around, speeding back to the motel. If she wanted to blow him off without giving him an explination or a reason, she had something else comming. If she really wanted to be rid of him, sheh was going to have to tell him that to his face.

Sam and Crystal eventually got back. "We'll stay for the night, but tomorrow we need to find a new place to stay," Sam was mumbling as she shut and locked the door, then went and made sure everything was safe. Crystal went to the bathroom and showered and cleaned herself and her wound.

Greg took the steps two at a time once he reached the motel, barely able to resist the urge to use his superhuman speed. He delivered three solid knocks to Sam's motel door, determined to get to the bottom of whatever the hell was going on. "Samantha, its Gregory. You owe me an explination."

Samantha stared at the door. "Just leave. I don't want to see you again. Ever!" she yelled through the door, not wanting to open it because if she saw him, she'd start crying and Crystal would be in danger and....Samantha wiped her eyes and choked back a sob.

Greg sighed, thinking it wasn't like Samantha to be this difficult. Twisting the knob in his hands, Greg easily broke the lock on the door and pushed his way inside. "Samantha." he said, his eyes leveling on hers, "What the hell is going on?"

She looked away. "Look, I just....I realized after you left that all I felt..." She turned, wiping her eyes. Her heart was getting ripped up to shreds in her chest. She hugged herself. "It was just lust. That's it. You were only lust to me, and as an added benefit, a freedom key from that tyranical family of mine. Thanks for letting..." She shook and held her tongue. She had thought a lot of what to say should he come after her and demand to know why she didn't want to be with him. The whole walk home was only thought. "Letting me walk all over you." Crystal was listening through Sam's head, and she was heart-broken for her friend.

"Who said you had to stop?" Greg asked, taking a step towards her. "What if I told you I didn't care if you were just using me, for lust or as a freedom key. Were both getting something out of this and having a good time, right? Whats the problem?" Gregory couldn't see Samantha only looking at him as an object to be used for her personal motives, but even if she was he couldn't make himself care enough to end whatever he had with her. He cared about her genuinely -even if she didn't feel the same way about him- and the feeling not being mutual wasn't gong to make him feel any differently towards her- ever.

Sam let out a sharp noise then said. "Just go. I don't want to see you anymore. I want you to just go!" She clutched her chest area, trying to hold her heart together.

Gregory grabbed her by the shoulders, making her look at him. "You've always known I've been selfish. What makes you think I would give up what I want, which happens to be you, for what you want. Its going to take a lot more than a few words to drive me away from you, Samantha."
The young country boy from earlier appeared in the doorway, his crossbow leveled at gregory. "Take your hands off the girl." the boy yelled, his finger positioned on the trigger as he eyed Gregory intently.

Sam looked at the young country boy and glared at him. She looked up at Gregory. "If you really wanted me you would've done your research right then. I'm in love with someone else." she told him, a total lie. Crystal made a wtf face in the shower. "I love...uh..." Okay, lie starting to show, think quickly, Sam thought. "The boy with the arrow. I read those crummy novels for vampire insight so...we can hunt them down." Boy, if a lie could be told any worse, they'd be in B Movies.

Gregory didn't even react to her lie. He knew she was lying, but he wasn't sure why. "Samantha, please tell me what's going on. You know I am trustworthy, at least to you. Whatever is going on, your better off with me by your side helping you through it. You know I'm right.....you know it." Gregory felt at a loss of words to convey to Samantha what he was thinking- felt like what he was trying to explain to her was greater than any words could express.

"Gregory...Just go..." she whispered, looking like she was about to beg him to leave. "You have to go. You can't be here anymore," she told him and looked down. "Please..."

"Why?" Greg demanded, feeling torn. "Because, if you don't I'll shoot you." the farmboy growled, his arms shaking as he held the crossbow up. Greg glanced back at the boy over his shoulder, looking at him as if he were nothing more than a nuisance, like gum stuck on the bottom of a shoe. "I wouldn't speak to your elders like that, boy, especially the ones that would more than happily end your life."

Sam shoved at Greg's chest and shouted, "Leave, Greg! I don't want you, and if you continue to...to be here..." She used her telekinesis to float an arrow to her, holding it threatingly. "Leave..."

"You would never do that, Samantha. Even if you hated me, you wouldn't kill me. Your not a killer, you don't have it in you." Greg said, not skipping a beat as he stayed put. "I'm not leaving till I have some answers- some honest ones."
