"Hey, dumbass, over here!" Race yelled, standing up and waving from his spot in the middle of the cafeteria to his triplet Alex. Jogging up next to him, Alex flipped him the middle finger as the two brothers exchanged playful grins. "Hey, so , you wouldn't happen to know why the science hall smells rancid right now, would you?" he asked, eyeing his triplet suspiciously. Race grinned mischeviously, "C'mon here! I've gotta set a reputation for myself. I wouldn't want to break the River's tradition and start being a good boy-we both know your not doing hell to pull your end and set the pranking standard." "Hey now, its only the first day, and besides, I'm planning on easing them into a false trust with me- it heightens the shock." he added, grinning as he sat down beside his brother and shoveled a fry into his mouth. "Hey, have you seen Hillary? Hehe, maybe she got lost again- wouldn't put it past her, even though she's been going here for like 3 years now." Alex snickered, soon accompanied by Race's laughs.
Spotting his cousins, Stephen sighed as he made his way over to them. He really wasn't in the mood for their jokes, or to be social at all right now. If it was up to him, he would be setting something big and highly flammable on fire- maybe the loud yappy girl standing in the middle of the isle blocking his way. Stephen sighed loudly, hoping she would take the hint- she obviously didn't. Rolling his eyes, he remembered why he hated most teenagers his age as he took the long way through the cafeteria to the table his cousins- which he look at more as his brothers- were sitting at.
As Eric pushed his shoulder length thick wavy dark brown hair out of his face, his blue eyes scanned the masses for his small group of friends. Eric was outgoing enough, and he had a few close friends, but his strong personality was the type that either made people love him or hate him. Waving as he spotted his friends, he took his time walking over to them before plopping down next to them. "So, how was your summer?"
As Gregory, or Greg as his friends called him, pushed open the cafeteria doors, he instantly felt the stares of the other students peircing into him. His jet black hair stopped right above his shoulders, accenting his callous green eyes. Tattoos ran up each forearm, shown by his fitted black t-shirt. He had one lip peircing, another on his left ear, and a final one on his right eyebrow. He looked like a model right out of the pages of a hot topic magazine, which he assumed was why people stared. As if that wasn't enough, his canadian accent was a total giveaway that he didn't belong here- that he wasn't a native. Most people his age couldn't cope with anything different than them- they rejected the idea, which didn't both him all that much- it wasn't as if he was all that interested in getting to know them either.

Hillary walked in on that comment about her being lost and glared at the back of their heads. "Yeah, because I always get lost, right?" she asked, smacking them. "You two are assholes. Jesus, the science hall smells! You two are at it already?" she asked, smiling playfully as she sat down. Her school uniform was up tied in a way that showed off her tight stomach and her big breasts. "Not that I am doing anything wrong." She smiled innocently.
Cassie moved through the halls, keeping her black hair down and around her face. She took a seat at the table with her granola bar- she tried to keep a very good figure for whenever the elves came and took her back to the throne. She sighed and looked at her cousins and flashed the tiny controlled smile and then picked at the raisons in her bar.
Elise bobbed her head to some of her favorite metal songs while sitting in the back with the misfits. She wore her school girl outfit in the most gothic-way she could. She nibbled at a french fry while her friends prodded the rest of her leftovers. Mom had brought McDonald's home last night, and that was today's lunch. Old Fast food. Ew.
Samantha sat quietly with the rest of her group. She had no friends. She was just simply in a group of people she knew from church and from her family's business interactions. She was eating a salad while studying. She had to have perfect grades. Anything below 95% was unacceptable. Her uniform was prim and perfect, and hair was straight and pulled back and perfect. Perfection, it had to be.
Robin strode to the lunch line, wishing she had a boy's outfit but standing as confidentlly as possible to get something to eat. She felt eyes go up her long, tappering legs as she found her way to the end of the line. She stood silently and counted the money she had- she wanted premium lunch today.

"Yeah of course not." Alex said, snickering as he made a crude gesture at her outfit. "Because prouncing around like your a slut is totally what the teachers want." "Correcting." Race said, turning to his brother. "She's not a slut- no guy's ever been dumb enough to sleep with her- just a tease." The two brothers slapped a high five before laughing and going to town on their food. "No worries though, little sister." Race said, winking at her from across the table. "Alex and I have got connections, we'll be able to get you a date to prom with a little money and some smooth talk."
As Stephen took a seat at the table next to Cassie, he gave her a small smile. Ever since she had moved in with the rest of the family, he had felt an instant connection to her. Colby and Hayven had taken them in as their own sons and daughters, but there was still that feeling of being an outsider- something that only the two of them understood. That formed an instant bond between them, one that was silent yet strong. "How's your day been?" he asked Cassie, nodding a small hello to the triplets.
As Eric boredly glanced around the lunch room, his eyes came to rest on a girl a few tables down- her names was Hillary, if he was correct. Wow, she was definitely dressed...well, wow. Looking down, Eric forced his eyes elsewhere and back to his friends, reminding himself that she was probably just like her brothers- annoying and attention seekers.
Sitting down against the back wall, Greg looked around. His eyes immediately paused on a quiet looking girl who appeared to be studying- and during lunch of all times. She peaked his interest- she wasn't like her peers. Popping his ipod into his ears, Gregory's eyes remained on the girl for the rest of the lunch period, his eyes tracking her movements like a hawk.

Hillary punched them each in the shoulder and flipped them off. "Yeah, because I need your help," she said with an eye roll. "Hey Stephen," she greeted in a perky way and smiled at the two cousins- well, brother and cousin.
"Same old," she mumbled and looked at him. "Least you're done this year. I'm stuck one more. How's your day?' she asked. Cassie finished her bar and sipped her water, eyes glinting in thought.
Elise eyeballed Gregory from her seat, sighing inwardly and looking away towards the table with the Troublesome Trio and the two misfits. She'd always found the boy of the two misfits to be attractive, but he was so quiet and withdrawn, she didn't know how to approach him. And the trio was all- well, no, Hillary was okay- they were just energy. All the time. She stood and headed over to their table to talk to Hillary. They had gym together so far. "Hey," she greeted. Hillary looked up. God, what a body and smile. Elise felt her tongue piercing against her teeth as she continued. "So...The teacher's a perve, huh?" "Yeah, totally!" Hillary agreed and pulled the goth girl down and hugged her. "This is my friend from gym- Elise!" Elise did a timid wave but was otherwise quiet. Cassie glanced up at her, made an assessment, and looked down. Though similar in clothing, she wasn't interested in seeking companionship from her.
Samantha finished her studies and stood, dismissing herself in a respectable way to go sit outside. She walked past the trio's table and didn't dare look at them. She'd envied them- so free and happy and joyous all the time. They never had worries. She wanted that so bad. She stepped outside and sat at a picnic table, staring into the sky and praying to God for a freer future.
Robin sat down at an empty table across from the trio's. She picked at the mashed potatoes silently for a few moments before going in for the chicken. She had found the trio's antics amusing, but also very distracting. She glanced at Eric from across the room and then to the table he was eyeballing. She inwardly snickered. Bet you could get her super easy dude, she thought, passing an unfair judgment on Hillary.

Race elbowed Alex, an obvious sign that he was zeroing in on a hot chick (Elise) and a way of claiming his territory on her. Alex, who was also checking out elise, eblowed Race back twice as hard, making his brother cringe in pain. "You fucker!" Race wheezed, although not dettering frmo his new goal. Shooting up from his seat, Race extended his hand to Elise, interrupting Hillary's conversation. "Hellllllo. How have I not noticed you before?" Race asked her, turning on the charm as he flashed her a sugguestive smile from under his bedhead sandy blonde hair. Alex pushed his brother to the side, extending his own hand to Elise. "Excuse my dumbass brother. It's not his fault- he was born like this. We tried to get it fixed when he was young, but the doctors unfortunately couldn't do anything for him."
Stephen looked up at Elise, his eyes lingering on her for a moment before he realized she was obviously into the twins. Sighing, he looked back over at Cassie. "Alright. Same old same old. Loudy yappy annoying girls. Stuck up jocky arrogant guys," he said, shrugging.
As Gregory watched Samantha leave, he figured to hell with it- he might as well follow her out. It wasn't as if he had anything better to do, or any friends he would be ditching. As He leaned back against the outside school wall, he twirled his tongue ring out in his mouth as he watched Samantha pray. Unexpected- definitely. But then again, everything about him was unexpected. Pulling a cigarette out of his pocket, Greg lit it as he watched her.
Despite Eric's best attempts, his eyes drifted back to Hillary- god, she was hot. That fiery red hair mixed with those deep chocolate eyes and that killer body- he figured she had to have some rich boyfriend with the way she looked- all the girls like her did. As one of his friends noticed his wandering eyes, they nudged him and teased him playfully, "So, you got the hots for Hillary?" Eric flushed a deep shade of red as he did his best to deny it. "Of course not. I mean come on, who knows how many guys that slut's been with." His friend laughed,, obviously not believing him. "Yeah, well, tell that to your body, cause I'm betting it doesn't give a fuck."

Elise grew confused and shook hands with both at the same time. "It's, uh, nice to meet you both. I'm not sure...uh....Race and....Alex, right?" she asked. "I think we had language together last year..." She was thinking hard for a minute, but she shrugged and smiled at Hillary. Hillary was amused with her brother's antics. She smiled evilly. "So, Elise, your bra is amazing. Where do you shop?" she asked, smiling. Elise thought undergarments was a strange choice, but shrugged. "Normal stores and the cheapo ones. You can find really cool stuff in the used clothing stores- that's where I found this bra...I know where they sell it normally though. Why?" "Oh, I need to go shopping for those things, you know? I only have ragged ones." "Oh, yeah, I hate that....I know this killer store not far from my place that sells really nice, fine lingerie items for a good price. It's a spanish store though, so...sometimes understanding the workers is hard." "No problemo," Hillary laughed and hugged her, which only emphasized Elise's curves and breasts since Hillary was sitting down and Elise was standing up. Elise looked taken aback, but didn't say anything. If this was normal, this was normal. And she liked Hillary- she made the best wise-cracks and smart ass remarks. "I'll be right back," Hillary said and stood, going to get a soda. The machine stuck a lot, so she could be over there for awhile just trying to get something to drink. Elise stayed standing, watching her friend silently.
Cassie nodded, smiling a more genuine smile. "Any homework yet?" she asked. She used her hand to hold her head up, and leaned into it. She was tired. She was always tired. She was also always hungry. Her grey and gold-speckled eyes met Stephen's silently.
When she finished her prayers, she was instantly alerted of his presence due to the smoke. She looked over, eyes calm but body startled. She had not expected someone to be out there and...watching her. Samantha looked around, trying to figure out what he was watching, because it most certainly could not be her, but there was nothing to watch. He...He's just zoning out, and I happen to be the space his eyes settled on. She nodded to herself and stood, gathering her bags up and leaving. She was uncomfortable. God, please let him have been zoning out.
Robin still noticed that Eric was giving Hillary the big once over and hummed in thought as she finished her food. She looked at Hillary's table, and saw she was getting up. Hillary walked over, a natural sway in her hips, to the vending machines and punched in for a soda. The machine wasn't working, and she was getting frustrated. She kicked it subtly enough so that the teachers didn't yell at her, but it didn't pop out her soda. Robin rolled her eyes and left, heading to her next class early.

"So, Elise, I know spanish- ya know, if you need someone to help to go lingerie shopping- just to translate." he said, a mischevious smile creeping onto his lips. "You don't know spanish, you dumbass." Alex said, hitting his brother on the back of the head. Race hit Alex back, still grinning as he said, "Yeah, but I'd learn for her." Alex rolled his eyes, laughing at his brothers attempts. "Don't trust him as far as you can throw him." Alex warned Elise, laghing because he had had the same thought as Race- he just hadn't been bold, or rude enough, to say it.
His brows creased in worrry as he looked at teh granola bar in Cassie's hand. "Hey, Cassie, is that all your going to eat? That's not enough for lunch." he said, pushing his plate of food towards her. He didn't know about Cassie being royalty and all, he only knew that she was an elf and that her parents had been murdered.
Greg kept his eyes on her, laughing silently at the look she had gotten on her face when she had noticed him staring at her. He never really felt embarassed, even now. It just wasn't a normal emotion for him. God, he had unnerved her. Then again, any sane person would be scared shitless to be caught alone with someone who looked like him, let alone to be watched by someone like him.
Eric got up, not really knowing what he was doing as he walked over to Hillary. "Having trouble?" Eric asked, laughing lightly as he looked down at her. "Here." he said, hitting the soda machine in just the right spot to disoldge the soda. Reaching down, he picked up the soda and handed it to her. "It's not about how hard you it it, more so where." he said, motioning to the soda machine as he contemplated the many ways his sentence could be taken- all of them in his mind sexual.

Elise stared at them, a sort of confused and awkward expression on her face. She started tugging on one of the piercings on her ear and waited for them to stop talking. She wasn't used to being the center of a flirt, so this was completely new and awkward. "Well...thanks, but I think I'll be fine," she said. "I've shopped there before, so they know me." She looked at the other two siblings. It was odd, the other two didn't look related at all.
"Yes," she said, shoving his tray back. "I have to keep in tip-top shape," she informed him. "For reasons pertaining to my future." Cassie finished her bar and crumpled the wrapper up in her hand. She got her water bottle and sipped that for the rest of lunch.
Hillary looked up at him, eyes narrowing at his comment and letting out a short smile and nod. "Yeah, I guess that's right. It's hard to find the right spot though," she said, her comment also having a double-meaning as she took the soda. "Thanks. I like when guys know where that spot is- On the machine," she teased, and winked, smiling brightly as she extended her hand. "Name's Hillary. And you are?"

Race sighed , obviously dissapointed by her response. "Well, alright, but the offer still stands...." he said, his voice drifting off. Clapping his hand on his brothers shoulder, Alex chuckled at his brothers failed advance. "Don't worry, Race. She's just too smart to be dumb enough to fall for your smooth talk. Theres a ton of other dumb broads in school that'll fall for your bullshit, and maybe if your lucky you'll find the few ones stupid enough to sleep with you." Race pushed his brother, almost knocking him over. "Aww, shut up. It's time to go to class anyways." he said, looking down at his schedule. "Damn, I have relationships now." "Maybe it'll help you with the ladies 'cause your game needs serious improvement." Alex scoffed, looking down at his own schedule. "Well, I'm not doing much better, I've got economics." he said, shaking his head. Waving a goodbye to Cassie and Stephen, the brothers also waved goodbye to Elise as they parted ways.
"Cassie, I don't think starving yourself puts you in the category of tip top shape. Now stop being stubborn and eat." Stephen said, pushing his tray back towards Cassie. "I'm not letting you leave until you eat." he stressed, worried about her. "And what's this future your talking about? I mean, you can't live your life for a future that might not happen, Cassie. Most of the time, things don't always go as planned." he said, knowing nothing was a sure thing.
"Eric." he said, laughing at her comment as he took her hand in his. "Hey, don't I have government with you 4th?" Eric asked, sighing as the bell for the next class went off. "Crap, lunch is already over. I guess I'll see you later than." Eric asked, taking a few steps back while still facing her as he started off for his next class.
Looking down at his schedule, Greg managed a small smile as he started off for photography. It was definately his favorite class- Greg had always been into goth art- specifically phtography of ancient relics, old churches, and haunting cemetaires. He liked other art too, he just happened to be drawn to that specifically.

"Well, wow, wasn't he arrogant," she muttered about Alex. Elise watched them leave, frowning at their behavior. Elise shrugged and headed back to eat what was left of her leftovers, and then headed to her photography class.
Cassie took a bite and stood. "I ate. I've got to go to class now," she said and moved away. She felt bad for treating him coldly, but no one except Hayven and Colby knew about her heritage. No one knew she was a princess, and that eventually she'd have to find a suitable man to take the throne with her. And no one knew how strict elven aristocracy was. So she would starve herself and remain good-looking until she had birthed a few children. Then some slack would be on her leash.
"Yeah, I think so," she nodded and smiled. "Later, Gater," she chirped with a wink and then headed on to her next class.
Sam took a seat in her class and was already prepared.
Robin took a seat in her class and was ready to begin.

As Race fidgited in his seat, he frowned, cursing to himself. He hadn't seen any hot girls come into teh room, which had been the whole reason he'd taken relationships in the first place. As his thoughts drifted to the big street race that was planned for later that night, he grinned, anxious for the day to be over so he could go and race. He preffered motorcycles to cars, but anything would do. He didn't own his own car, but he was a racer, and a damn good one in the leagues of illegal underground racing, which was his main source of income as well as his greatest passion in life. Only his triples and the rest of his siblings knew about his racing habit, he'd made them all promise not to tell mom and dad. Snapping out of his daze, his features lit up as he spotted Elise walk into the room. Maybe this class wouldn't be a waste after all. Standing up, he waved over to her, motioning for her to take a seat next to him.
Stephen's features hardened as he tried to control his temper. He got angry easily, and when he got angry things got heated- really heated. From what he could gather, his hands flamming up when he got angry was a hereditary trait. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself fully before standing up and following Cassie to the next class he knew they had together. Sitting down beside her, he was quiet for a few minutes before he said, "Cassie, why do you have to be like that?" He didn't like it when anyone brushed him off, but it hurt much worse comming from her than anyone else. She was pretty much one of the only people he considered his friends- he liked the triplets and all, his personality just didn't mesh, and it was hard being friends with three other people who were as close as they were. Cassie and him, they may be treated as part of the family, but he knew they would always be outsiders to an extend. He considered the triplets family, he just knew they would never understand growing up without your parents like him and Cassie would.
As Eric walked into his Algebra class, he took a seat near the front of the classroom. He wanted to be able to hear what the teacher was saying so he could take good notes. Plopping his book bag down, his thoughts drifted back to Hillary and the sight of her in that outfit of hers. He was sure she would get yelled at by any of the teachers if they saw her wearing the outfit like that, but it sure did improve the scenery around the school.
Walking out to the courtyard, Greg sat down beside a tree as he took out his sketch pad and drawing pencils. He used drawing as an outlet- which worked out well since he was a natural artist. He used swift and percise strokes to draw a crowd of hands, all of them reaching up to the sky- for some reason, it reminded him of Samantha- or rather the look in her eyes. She seemed desperate for some type of release, reaching out towards some nonexistent force (god) for a release but finding none.
As Alex walked into economics, he stretched his arms out wide, letting out a bored sigh. Turning his head to the right, he spotted the shy girl that had been studying at lunch walk in. Shrugging, he went back to humming a random song in his head, figuring it would be better to leave the girl alone than annoy her with his overoutgoing nature.

Elise walked into the room and looked around, chuckling at Race and waving back. She walked over and took a seat beside him, smiling. ''Well, I feel like I just saw you,'' she commented with a big smile. ''Strange, right?" She felt someone sit in front of her but didn't look over.
Robin sat in front of Elise and Race, but didn't turn to talk. That was an open seat.
Cassie pursed her lips and ran a hand through her hair, pinching her ears. ''I just am, okay? There are parts of my life I have to prepare for early on, and my figure unfortunately happens to be somthing important to that future. Sorry I brushed you off like that- my eating habits and stuff are just...they're just, that's it.'' She sighed and pulled out the geography book. ''I'm sorry.''
Hillary strolled in, fixing her shirt as the teacher pegged her and she rolled her eyes. She ran her hand through Eric's hair as she passed him, winking at him flirtaciously but overall giving off a 'we're friends' vibe. She sat in the back with a few other girls, talking to them happily about summer vacation. There were three open seats around her.
Samantha sat in the front and pulled her things out for economics. She had everything neatly labeled, everything organized, and everything clean and perfect. She made sure her skirt was smoothed before sitting, and was very aware of any parts that weren't good- she fixed all the wrinkles she found. She stared ahead and waited silently for class to start.

"Yeah, totally." Race said, grinning as she sat down beside him. "So, your in this class too, huh? Lucky us." he said sarcastically. "So, then, your not into my brother, right?"Race asked, totally switching gears. He hadn't really been able to read her during lunch, mostly because he figured she was probably overwhelmed by the two of them- most people were, even when the brother weren't trying to hit on them.
Alex passed economics class uneventfully, thinking about how his band was performing at the only teen club they had in the city, "The Black Sheep". He was hoping this would finally help them to make a name for themselves, though he doubted it. He didn't really mind- he wasn't all that into the fame aspect- he moreso wanted to be known enough to play in any club they wanted and raise enough money so they could survive as a band when they finally made it out of high shool.
"Yeah, and I supposed these parts of your life- or your future, as you call it- involve leaving the rest of us behind, huh?" Stehpen responded just as coldly as she had. He had issues with abandonement for obvious reasons, primarily because of his dumbass father, so this was definately a tender subject. "Cause ' theres absolutely no reason for you to stay here, is there." Stephen responded, his anger mixing with the hurt he felt to leave him bitter. He always had that feeling when it came to her- like she was waiting for something better to come along.
Eric looked back at her as she brushed her hand through his hair, stifling a laugh. She definately wasn't subtle, or shameful at that. "What the hell." Eric heard his girlfriends dissaproving voice rip through the air as he whipped his head around, knowing he shouldn't be stairing at Hillary when he had a girlfriend of his own- Jessica. The two had met in school, and there relationship had progressed with ease. He couldn't help but feel, though, that something was missing. Jessica and him got along well enough, there just wasn't the passion in their relationship that he wanted...that he felt when he looked at Hillary. It was more or less an ideal relationship. "She's just a playful friend, thats all." Eric said, reassuring Jessica. She didn't look like she bought it- she must've seen the truth in his eyes. "Yeah? Well just make sure she keeps her hands off you." Jessica said, shooting Hillary a cold stare. "Oh, stop it Jessica. Stop making a big deal out of nothing." he said, shaking his head. Jessica put her hand on Eric's forearms possessively, looking back at Hillary as she did so to send the girl the message.
Greg passed the period in silence, completing the intricate drawing. He had tons more in his backpack, and several in the upcomming school artshow. As far as college went, he could get in basically anywhere on an art scholarship, though he wasn't even sure if he wanted to go to college at this point. Hell, right now he didn't even have a place to live. He was homeless, though from time to time he stayed at a friends on a particularly cold night or to take a hot shower. He was pretty lean since most of the time he didn't have money for food, and when he did have money he spent it on art supplies or to get photoes developed, but he was able to pull it off well since he naturally had a tall, muscular build.

''Um...Yeah, not really...Why?" she asked, looking confused. Elise took out some paper and her pen as the teacher started to write things on the board about the class. She wasn't paying much attention as it was.
Cassie looked hurt and taken aback. She sighed and looked away. She mumbled something like, ''I don't want to leave. But I have to.'' She opened her book to the introduction pages and stared at it, cheeks hot.
Hillary stretched and caught the looks, and shot her the middle finger subtly and muttered something to her friends. They laughed and glanced at Jessica, then away. Hillary moved out of her chair and up to the front, swaying past them to go sharpen her new pencils- she preferred real wood to mechanical. She smiled at Eric and paused at his desk since their class hadn't begun quite yet. ''So thanks for the soda-help. I'm glad you can find the right spots...This must be your girlfriend,'' she extended a hand. ''You're a lucky gal. He knows how to get soda out of the damned machine.'' She was completely sincere. Any hostility to Jessica from Hillary was simply rebutal on her part.

"Just curious." Race replied innocently enough as a wide grin stretched across his face. "So listen, theres this race tonight, you should come. We're always wanting more spectators and stuff, it makes things more exciting. It's really fun- they have beers and dancing and all that good stuff on the sidelines. I think you would like it. Hillary might be there." he added, hoping that maybe then she would come if someone else she knew was there.
"Right..." Stephen said, imaging his father saying the same exact words to him as he left him on his adopted parents doorstep. He had always wondered about her past, but he'd never pushed her on it, not wanting to make her feel pressured or uncomfortable.
Eric cursed to himself as he felt Jessica's nails dig into his arms. Who knew things would get so blown out of proportion- they hadn't done shit. "Yeah, well, just keep your eyes and hands to yourself and we won't have a problem- we probaly wouldn't in the first place if you didn't wear clothes 5 sizes too small to school every day." Jessica snickered. "Jess, c'mon. Stop it." Eric said, shooting an apologetic look at Hillary.
