High atop a building top Dimitrius lay, his hand lifted to the sky and lazilly making the clouds change shape to show images of warriors, animals, and also a few other things that were sure to confuse youngster's running around.
With a sigh of boredom he dropped his hand to the concrete of the building top, closing his eyes.
There was a shift in the air suddenly, and Dimitrius sighed again.
"What do you want now Desidrus."
The demon soldier bowed at his feet, his head downcast and his black hair falling to the cement.
"Your father requests your presense."
Standing Dimitri walked to the buildings edge, looking down at the city below. "Tell him I'm busy."
"Mi'Lord it is of great impor-"
With an aggrivated sigh Dimitrius swept his hand out, watching as the demon blinked out of sight and was sent back to his father.
"Not tonight." Dimitri mumbled, and without hesitating dropped down from the building's edge and into a back alley. Fixing his trench he walked out into the busy streets.

Gwenifer walked the busy streets of the city, trying to find the building where the man she was supposed to be delivering message to worked. Her clouded eyes swept across the building numbers franticly. She was already falling behind in her deliveries and couldn't afford to waste any time.
As the Seer walked past a back alley she was pulled back into it by two very large guys. They didn't say anything but tried to grab the letter out of her hands. If this gets intercepted I'm dead meat.she thought, panicking. She wiggled out of their hold and ran out of the alley, straight into a guy passing by. Though no skin contact had occurred she was still close enough to sense that he was very powerful, probably a god of some sort.
She mumbled an apology and tried running off again but the larger of the two guys following her grabbed her arm and started dragging her back. "Sorry 'bout her. Gwenny belongs in the 'sylum." he said to the guy.
Gwen shook her head and struggled against his hold, sending her hair flying in the man's face. "Lemme go!"

All Dimitri saw was a blur of orange and purple. Frowning as something soft touched his face he realized that it had been hair.
Orange...and purple.....hair?
That's when he noticed the two guys dragging a struggling female into the backalley. He didn't get a good glimpse of her face, but he could pretty much tell that she would rather be somewhere else.
"Ignore it." Dimitrius muttered to himself, beginning to walk past the alley. "Not your problem."
Things like this happened every day, survival of the fittest. Natural selection if you will. It had nothing to do with him.
Nothing at all.
Letting out an aggrivated cry Dimitrius swung around and back to the alley entrance. "I'm fucking insane." He thought, then shrugged.
He was only doing this to see who the hell would actually dye they're hair orange and purple. That was it. It wasn't like he was some knight going to save a damsel in distress or something...sure.

Despite being mostly skin and bones Gwen was putting up a pretty good fight. The short guy got in a cheap shot and Gwen found herself laying on her stomach on the ground, her face being pushed harshly into the dirt and her arms being held behind her back.
"Give us the letter bitch." said the rough voice of the man not restraining her.
Gwen didn't see it coming but felt once his foot made contact with her face. She couldn't hold back her scream of pain at having her nose broken. She continued to struggle.
The man noticed someone standing at the alley entrance and glared. "Hey, get outta here. This is none of your buisness! Keep walking." he shouted.
Gwen muttered a few words that sounded like nonsense and the letter in her pocket began to burn. Neither of the men noticed the smoke or the smell.

Dimitrius felt his control shatter as he saw the man slam his foot into the girls face. He may not give a shit about humans, but tht didn't mean he would stand back and watch a woman be beat.
They didn't even see him.
Materalizing behind the man who had his foot in the girls face, Dimitrius grabbed his leg and broke it instantly, watching as the man went down with a howl of pain.
He heard the other man let out a suprised gasp before charging towards him. Dimitrius swung around in a flash and grabbed the man by the neck, pulling him to dangle up in the air.
"Don't you know your not suppose to hit women?" He said through clenched teeth, quickly becomming disgusted with both of the men.
"I'm going to send you both to a place you'll never see the light of day again and the only hitting that will be done is by one of my close friends." Dimitrius drew the man close to him with a grim smile. "And he REALLY likes his job. Tell Hades i said hi." Dimitrius said and in the blink of an eye the two men vanished.

Gwen gasped when she felt the weight dissapear from her back and she very cautiously sat up, spitting blood onto the ground. She pinched her broken nose with her gloved fingers to try and stop the bleeding.
The trademark cloudy eyes of a Seer looked up at the man who had saved her. "Thank you." she said graciously once her breathing had calmed.
Gwen tried to stand, using the wall for balance but her shakey legs would not support her and she slid back to the ground.

Dimitri cringed as he saw her slide to the ground. Was he suppose to have caught her first?
He stared at the blood covering her face and winced. It looked like that hurt. Alot.
Do something you idiot. His mind screamed.
What the hell was he suppose to do?
Sighing he bent down to the woman and pulled her in his arms, and began his way out of the back alley.
"Where do you live?"

Gwen made a small noise of discontent at being picked up but didn't say anything about it.
"'Ine Woo' A-part-Ment Ompleh." she answered, frowning at how it came out. Her broken and pinched nose made her speech less than desirably. She'd meant to say 'PineWoods Apartment Comlex'. What came out was close enough.
"Youno hafta dake me there though... I'll get dere soon enouf" she told him, not wanting to seem like a pathetic damsel in distress. Plus she didn't want this odd stranger knowing exactly where she lived.

Dimitrius arched a brow at her speech pattern before rolling is eyes. With a mere thought he healed her broken nose, trying to appear as if he had no idea what had suddenly caused the pain to subside.
"I understand you must not want me to know where you live." He muttered. Actually, he understood because he had read her mind. But all the same. "But don't you think that's a little too late seeing as you've already told me where it is?"

The young woman blinked in suprise as the pain and the blood flow from her nose ceased. Well that made talking a lot easier. She wiped the blood off her face with the back of her hand.
"Well, considering that there are four, very large, building in the apartment complex with many, many different apartments availble it is very unlikely just from the name you'll know where, exactly, I live." she answered

Dimitrius arched a brow again. He wouldn't tell her that he knew exactly where she lived. No, but the thought stilll brought a small smile to his lips.
He glaned down at her then, and stared in amazement. Wow, the girl really cleaned up.
Granted, she was as thin as a rail and had....purple..and orange? hair. But her face was nonetheless breathtaking.
"So, what the hell makes a person dye they're hair orange and purple anyways?"

The bluntness of his question made her smile. It was clear she got asked that a lot.
"Life, for most people, is short so, why not have orange and purple hair?" she retorted. It wasn't really an answer to his question but she wasn't going to say anymore about it.
"You can put me down, I can walk from here." she said, not very sure if she actually could or not. She didn't want to be a burden

Dimitrius came to a halt with a shrug and carefully set her back on her feet.
"You sure you're good from here? You still look a bit wobbly."

"I am still a bit wobbly." she admitted "But I'll never get any better if I let you carry me there."
Gwen took a few steps and smiled when she didn't fall. She turned to face him. "Thanks again for... back there. If there's anything I can do t pay you back, let me know."

Dimitrius shuffled his feet, unsure what to do or say. Finally giving a silent nod he turned and hurried from her as quickly as he could without running.
That was weird. He had never really intermingled with humans before. He wasn't sure how to take it.
