High atop a building top Dimitrius lay, his hand lifted to the sky and lazilly making the clouds change shape to show images of warriors, animals, and also a few other things that were sure to confuse youngster's running around.
With a sigh of boredom he dropped his hand to the concrete of the building top, closing his eyes.
There was a shift in the air suddenly, and Dimitrius sighed again.
"What do you want now Desidrus."
The demon soldier bowed at his feet, his head downcast and his black hair falling to the cement.
"Your father requests your presense."
Standing Dimitri walked to the buildings edge, looking down at the city below. "Tell him I'm busy."
"Mi'Lord it is of great impor-"
With an aggrivated sigh Dimitrius swept his hand out, watching as the demon blinked out of sight and was sent back to his father.
"Not tonight." Dimitri mumbled, and without hesitating dropped down from the building's edge and into a back alley. Fixing his trench he walked out into the busy streets.

Sam meandered along the road, nibbling at an apple as she walked. She tossed the core into a trash can and went to find somewhere to sleep, smiling and humming. She took a seat outside an alley way, pulling out a very worn vampire romance novel and reading from it silently, eyes half-lidded. She was content with her new life.

Dimitrius walked the streets like a zombie, his thoughts drifting in ant out of reality. Something was brewing on Olympus. He didn't know what but he knew tht it was; and his father requesting his audience didn't make him feel better.
Dimitrius hadn't seen his father since he had been a child. If the god suddenly wanted him then something must be going on. And something not good.
For a moment he thought about calling his mother for information. Then quickly decided against it. He didn't want the crabby woman anywhere near him right now. Any of the gods for that matter.
Ha. A god who hated his own, yet hated his creations as well. How ironic.
He truely fit in nowhere.

Sam used her book as a pillow and laid down on the side of the street, head resting on the pillow and trench coat a blanket. She hugged herself for extra warmth, but was otherwise cold and alone on the street.

Dimitrius entered a solitary alleyway, and with a glance towards the ground saw a homeless person laying on the wet cement of the streets. His gaze left the person without hesitation. The homless didn't strike a soft place in his heart. He wasn't even sure if he HAD a soft place in his heart for that matter.
The air was froze over suddenly, and Dimitrius froze, his eyes narrowing and glancing towards the end of the alley where a form was slumped against the wall.
Something began tingling inside him, his senses on alert and his hair standing on edge.
What the hell was going on.
Walking closer to the figure slowly, he haltered in suprise as the the man, who was wearing a large hoody glanced up, and Dimitrius saw red eyes glowing back at him through the darkness.

((sorry for slow replies- i'm sharing the computers with my friends))
Sam stirred when she heard someone walk past her. She rubbed her eyes and watched silently from the ground, unsure if they were about to tell her to scram or talk there...And if it was illegal, she wanted to get outta there.

((lol no problem))
The man began stumbling forward then, his glowing eyes locked on Dimitrius.
"What the-" It couldn't be a god. He would have been able to feel it. So what more could it be? Ha, maybe he should refrase that as what couldn't it be.
Vampires usually kept to the night clubs and hospitals, and even though demons were known to attack a random person on the streets he wasn't getting the sense that that's what this creature was. Nor did it smell of sulfer as demons did.
This thing..it smelled of pure death. Decay and rot and bile and phesies all in one.
Clenching his fist in disgust Dimitrius felt his body tense. He was sure that the creature was going to put up a fight. He was also sure that it had been in the alley to attack the homless person lying at his feet.
Dimitrius bit out slowly to the person. "Get up now. Get out of here."
His words seemed to turn a switch in the creatures brain for it then sprung forward, the hoodie falling back from it's face revealing decaying flesh and fangs as long as his fingers. Gasping in suprise Dimitrius watched as the things body began to contort and grow as it ran, it's arms sprung out, growing thin and long, and it's back began to bend, making a large hump appear.
"Son of a bitch!" Dimitrius muttered, unsure how to fight the creature exactly. But it looked like he would soon find out.

Sam struggled to her feet and bolted, leaving her book behind. She ran and she ran until she wasn't sure where she was, which was when she stopped and panted. She looked around, trying to pinpoint a location. She saw a street sign and jogged over to read it. She was almost two miles away from the alley. "Aw...I hope my book doesn't get stolen..."

The things clawed hand struck out at him, and Dimitrius barely had time to dodge it. He swung around quickly, not wanting the thing at his back and watched as it stumbled into the brick wall.
It let out a ooaf, which made Dimitrius arch a brow, and then begin to stumble around in confusion, looking before it as it Dimitrius had suddnely dissapeared.
"Not very bright is it?" Dimitrius muttered to himself, and with a twitch of his hand rendered the thing in half.
A monsterous howl rent the air as it fell to it's death, Demitrius quickly summonded fire to the things body so no evidence would be left behind.
Then materalized to Olympus. He needed some information.

Sam waited until the next morning to go back, searching for hours until she found the alley. She looked around for her book, wondering if it was there or not. She didn't find it, and thinking she had the wrong alley, continued her search for it while looking for unsuspecting markets to steal from.

"As far as we know they were created by a god."
"A god?!" Dimitrius cried out, his frustration pouring through. He stared at his father standing before him. The man resembled him almost exactly. They had the same auburn hair and yellow red eyes, and their skin was both luminious as if glowing.
"Why the hell would a god creature something like that?!"
Hypnos narrowed his eyes. "I may be your father but that still gives you no leave to speak to me in such a way. Show some respect Dimitrius, or I will force it on you."
Dimitrius clenched his fist at his side. "A father you may be but also one who i haven't seen in centuries! What right do you have to call me after all this time and ask such a thing of me?!"
"It's not I who ask it but Zeus!" Hypnos yelled, advancing on Dimitrius. "And don't think me so coy boy that I will stand by and allow this treatment!"
Dimitrius growled out and stepped towards his father, comming to meet him half way. There was a blindness of light suddenly, and when it cleared Dimitrius found Aphrodite standing before him.
She lay a hand on his shoulder, her blue eyes narrowed. "You were not called for this, my son. The humans are in danger and you are here fighting? What kind of protector are you?"
"I'm not a protector!" Dimitrius bit out, pushing her hand off of him. "I hate the humans. Why the hell would I want to save them?"
"Because if it weren't for them then we ourselves wouldn't exist." Aphrodite said in a chilling tone, making Dimitrius pause.
He was silent a moment before cursing loudly. "So what are you saying exactly? That the creature I saw was just a fluke? There are to be more, and stronger?"
"Alot stronger." Hypnos said with a stiff nod.
Dimitrius growled in frustration and paced the palace's ivory floors. "That one seemed pretty easy to kill to me."
"That one was a first attempt. There will be more, and far more deadly than the first."
Dimitrius turned a narrowed gaze to him. "You know who created them, don't you? Or let me guess, did daddy dear get a little bored and decide to experiment?"
A god blast hit him so suddenly that he went flying backwards, hitting a stone pillar behind him. With a hiss of pain Dimitrius drew himself back to his feet, but his father was already on him.
"Do not attempt to place blame on me, son." The last word was spit out, Hypnos eerie eyes glowing. "You'll see my response will not be well."
"No shit." Dimitrius muttered. "So you want me to play bounty hunter? Fine, I don't give a damn. Just when this is over, do me a favor and don't call on me again." Without a word he vanished from Hypno's palace.

Sam was in the marketplace, crouched behind some boxes and eyeballing a small chicken pot pie left alone while the buyer had gone to the restroom. She watched people silently for a moment, before the little pie started to fly slowly towards her. She kept alert for anyone saying 'look' and such, but finally it got to her and she bolted down the alley. She sat behind a dumpster and started to eat it cautiously.

Dimitrius materalized in an alley way, his eyes searching his surroundings.
"Don't understand why I have to be the damn bounty hunter anyway." Dimitrius said with a curse.

Sam looked up and bolted, smiling slightly. "Hey, uh, Mister? I saw you last night...Um...Have you seen a romance book anywhere? It's by J.R. Ward?" She asked, looking fidgity. "What was that last night anyways?"

Dimitrius swung around to see a girl sitting on the alley ground. He was frozen a moment, staring at her in suprise.
THIS had been the person in the alleyway last night? He hadn't even been able to tell that it was a girl.
And a very attractive one at that.
Shaking that thought off he arched a brow at her odd question. "Huh?"
