"Lee...Nice to be aquainted with you, Lee. I am sorry we could not meet on better terms." he greeted formally, and softly. Damon wathed as she moved closer to him, and this caused him to tilt his head to the side and examine her more closely. First she's fearful, now she's comforted. And she likes to have her hair played with... he noted, trying to understand the woman in front of him.

Lee nodded slightly, still studying him. "You're really a gargoyle? Do you have to turn into a statue?" She was now close enough to feel that no heat was really coming off his body. Confused, she reached out, and touched him. He was lukewarm, definently not regular feeling. Her fingers lingered on his skin for a moment, then pulled away quickly. Her normally curly hair was mussed, sticking up slightly in the back.

Damon nearly held her fingers there where she touched him. Her fingers were soft and warm against his skin. But he refrained, remembering that some movements might frighten her, and he didn't want that now that she was calmed down. "Yes, I am really a gargoyle. Yes, but only if I am out in the sun." he answered her questions in order and slowly brought a hand up and touched her cheek, just to feel the warmth again, then he pulled away.

Lee watched his fingers move away from her, focusing on his fingers for a few moments before looking back up at him. "Then why do you go in the sun?" With the question her eyebrows furrowed agian. "Wouldn't it be more comfortable if you didn't have to turn into a statue? Nobody believes the superstition anymore...." She wet her lips, the crying having dried him out. Absentmindly, she rubbed her eyes, clearing them of the last tears there.
Her face was now the pale normal color of redheads, freckles decorating her nose and cheeks. She was small, but not petite, a little thick in the waist, but not fat. Of course, she had the normal eyes of a redhead, that emerold green that contrasted so well with her fire red hair. It wasn't orange, no, it was the beautiful red of the irish, the kind that shone in the sun, a ton of little highlights spread through it.

"We were purchased to adorn the outside of the building. To warm our normally very cold skin would be another reason. Rocks do tend to absorb things like that...As for the last bit, you'd be very suprised how often people do that cross thing or pull out a protective charm as they go in. Normally it is because that building does have some scary unfortunate things in it, but if you listen closely, you'll hear them murmuring pleas for us to stay still. I love paranoid, supersticious people." he replied to her questions, unsure if what he'd said about the superstitions made sense.
Damon watched her wipe her eyes and lick her lips, and really took in her appearance. She was a beautiful woman, small and not too thin, but still thin. Her red hair was that beautiful Irish red color with highlights and she had emerald green eyes.

"But they have been there for forever... You can't be that old." Lee said, trying not to come out and ask him what exactly his age was. "I mean, that's were they found me as a baby..." The last part slipped out of her mouth, like what most things you're thinking of tend to do. At once she realized what she had said, and a faint blush spread across her cheeks.
"I mean..." She stuttered, then covered her mouth with her mouth with her hand. Lee didn't like people to know that she was an "abondened" kid. Too many questions come up about her feelings on the politics, or just about how she felt about the people that kept her....

"I'm over 500 at least." he replied. "I lost count after...36." Damon observed her, smiling slightly at her blush. He brought a hand up and touched where her cheeks were reddened. They felt slightly warmer than her normal skin. "So you are an orphan?" he asked her, not caring that she'd been abandoned there. He'd seen at least 11 babies abandoned on those steps throughout the past century.

Lee bit her lip as his fingers ran over her skin once agian. He was so touchy feely, so unlike other guys. He seemed so very curious about even the small things, yet not in that perverted way some guys are. "Uhh... I always wanted to believe that I really wasn't... An orphan I mean..." Five hundred?? I'm like a baby compared to him! She shifted uncomfortably, looking up at him.

((are you going to make Lee's profile soon?))
Damon pulled his hand away and watched her bite her lip. She's very warm.. he thought, liking the feeling. It was different from the heat the sun mercilessly beat down on him and his siblings every day. "Oh? Abandoned then." he rephrased. He didn't ask her any questions about politics or her caretakers. He stood and took a step away from her. "How are you feeling?" he asked, needing to know since he would be in charge of her.

"Yes... I'm feeling just fine..." She murmered, now looking up at him. "Sorry I ran away..." Lee remained sitting on the floor still although she was leaning on the wall now. Wiping her nose, she sniffled slightly.
<<I'm sick... I think I'm going to stop rping for tongiht, unless you really want these crappy posts...>>

Damon smiled and leaned against the wall. "It's fine. You were a lot better than the last 2..." he commented, looking at the ceiling as if in deep thought, but his expression didn't suggest he was thinking of anything. "Do you need a tissue?" he asked.
((it's fine. i understand how you feel. and i apologize for any crappy posts i do, i'm not a really good rper...))

((I think you rp just fine))
"No, my nose should stop running soon." Lee pushed herself off the floor, standing up shakily. Her shoes were still on her feet, and she smiled slightly. "So since you're still here, then it's still night?" She was walking around the room, running her hand over the wall. She stopped in front of a picture of a man and a woman, her fingers running across the frame.

((thanks...do you have any tips by any chance? i'm always looking for ways to improve anyways.))
Damon nodded. "Almost midnight, to get specific. And I'll be here all day tomorrow as well. My brother, Andon is going in my place." he stated and pushed himself off the wall. His eyes flickered breifly over the picture of one of his older sisters and her husband, then went back to Lee's form. He was silent, looking around the room, and chuckling slightly at the sight of one of his younger sisters dollies.

When Damon laughed, Lee turned to look at him. One eyesbrow raised, she looked in the direction he was. A doll sat there, and she walked across the room and picked it up cradling it in her arms. "How many little children are there around here?" She asked then looked around at him. "Are you staying here because of me?" Her fingers were playing with the dolls hair, the hair a dark dark brown.
((My number one tip is description. Describe how your character is feeling, but do it in a way that people can SEE it. Don't tell, show))

Damon watched her walk over to the doll and pick it up. It was a doll his sister had made on her own, and it looked very beautiful and similar to a porcelian doll, but he wasn't sure if it was porcelian or not. He always felt happy to see her play with it though. "Lets see...Human or gargoyle?" he asked her softly, counting the children altogether. "Altogether...there's...Amy, Jeffery....Nicko...Bill...34." he finally answered, listing names and counting on his fingers in a human fashion. His eyes rolled up and stared at the ceiling as he did this. "And that's only the children under 12." he stated, chuckling. "Our family is rather big...I could take you to the portrait hall if you'd like to see exactly how vast it is..." he offered. He loved to take people to the protrait hall just to hear them go, 'woooow.' Or something amoung those lines.
((thanks. i've been trying to do that. they're teaching that in english class lately.))
