Rowen smiled at the child and knelt down to pick him up and toss the young boy of his shoulder, making him giggle with glee. Rowen was about Damon's height, 5"9, if not a little taller. His raven black hair, also like Damon's, went down passed his elbows and was just free to move where ever, unlike Damon's long hair, down to his mid-back but not passing his shoulder, which was tied neatly and seldom seen. Both of the brother's shared the odd red colored eyes, which seemed to be the only signifyer of the curse. Any child with blue, brown, green, and even grey eyes was immediatly recognized as human. "Put me down, brother!" the boy screeched in play. Rowen ignored his pleas, pretending to not even notice. "I'm to attend to you until Damon comes back, Lee." he told her, but was sure she already knew. The game begins. I feel kinda bad though...Damon hates hurting people. Not that I enjoy it, but those games don't begin for supposedly another 3-4 weeks... he thought, then blinked at the thought. Just in time to let her go too...

Lee jumped in suprise when she heard her name. It pulled her out of her thoughts, and she looked up at the man before her, who held a child over his shoulder. Raising an eyebrow she jestured at the boy. "You have something on your back." She murmered, then went back to looking at the mark on her wrist that was rapidly fading. The red marks that had come from her scratching didn't fade though, and she covered them with her other hand, wrapping her hands around her waist.
Damon had sent Rowen, who looked remarkily like Damon. Now that Damon wasn't around, she could feel the absolute presence of the man, somehow could feel the mischeviousness. These strange feelings were coming more and more often to her, she seemed to know more and more about what others were, and it scared her. Lee put it down to stress, and fear of her totally new surroundings.
Playing with a peice of hair that had escaped her messily put up hair, she now looked up at Rowen, her face straight.

"I know." he answered to her statement, putting the squealing boy down and watching him scamper off. Rowen looked around the hall, shying up again. His eyes followed her movements silently, keeping track like some robot would of where everything went. He was studying her.
Rowen bit his lip after a moment, not like Damon at all though they looked similar. He shyed up around their, well really his game, and Damon was normally rather calm. Damn it...I hate when that happens. he thought. Normally, Rowen was rather rude, mischevious, and striving to be stronger than the norm. Damon just wanted to keep warm, relax, and have fun and just cruise. One odd difference between them was that Rowen took a bit longer to anger than Damon, though both were rather the same with patience.
Hm...I guess we are the same... he thought, still comparing him and his brother inside his head, planning the game out. He shifted, a loose chain on his pants jingling. We dress similar. he noted, making comparisons of himself and Damon's outfits. Rowen was wearing at the moment a black tank top thing, loose pants with one chain on it-left pocket side, and combat boots. When Damon had left, he had been wearing a hoodie and jeans and some converse sneakers. They both tended to go towards darker clothing, is what he was comparing.
"Anything you'd like to do?" he asked finally, realizing it had been 6 minutes he'd been comparing in silence. Rowen's pale cheeks turned a pink tint in embarrassment. "Or something?" he asked.

Why does everyone keep asking me that? Lee thought to herself. She shrugged her shoulders, watching him like he was watching her. Letting go of her bright red hair, she blinked her bright green eyes, and just stood there. They would have to do something eventually. Rowen seemed to get shy agian after the boy ran off, almost stumbling over his words.
She wasn't that pretty. Her pale skin contrasted horriably with her red hair and big green eyes. Her lips were pale too, even light colored lipsticks looking horriable on her. The sun didn't tan her, just gave her freckles, which after one of her boyfriends had called "cute" she despised. Yet, this boy was still staring at her, and had stood there in silence for more than five minutes. She sighed, wishing that the God's had blessed her with more beauty, or at least a steady stream of the same emotion.
((You mentioned her seeming a little bipolar. I, am bipolar, and my characters seem to feed off that, for my emotions range in severity from happiness to sadness to thoughtfullness in a few hours. If it gets too annoying, then I'll try to stop, but I think it contributes to her confused "adolenct into adult stage" and her situation right now))

((it's not bothering me at all. i like it! ^-^ you're really bipolar? and i like the contributing thing, it's working.))
Rowen sighed. This is going to be hard... he thought , leaning against the wall and staring at the floor like it was something interesting, instead of a dull, brown color of wood. That's right....They added this floor...a year or so ago or something... he thought, shivering suddenly. The frost had finally started to bother him. Damn it. He stared at the ceiling, then back at the floor. I hope he doesn't get too warm, Mr. Cold and Frosty down there... he thought, angry at his brother slightly for having much more detective senses.
There was a built in hot springs in the basement for the gargoyles at night. That's where Damon was at the moment, and that's why Rowen was so mad.
"Can you speak?" he asked, but that wasn't what he meant in the question. He was trying, with much effort, to get to know Lee so that way he'd win. But then again, he probably wouldn't being that Damon had the upper hand at the moment. What does that guy do to get ladies to trust him? he thought, scowling slightly.

"Yes." Lee said plainly, and then let herself slide down the wall to sit with her legs crossed on the floor. She slipped off her converse, then slipped off her brightly colored toe socks. Her toes were red, but cold, and she rubbed her fingers over them. She was naturally colder than other people, her tempature falling around 96.5 degrees Fareenhight instead of the normal 98.6. Sighing, she pulled her knees up toward her chest, balancing her arms and her head on top of them.
Slowly, she started to get bored, the part of her that couldn't sit still long getting to her. Songs started to run through her head, and the thought brought a slight frown to her face. She was majoring in music at college, her love of the classical side of music a secret from all of her friends. Her likes spread out over all kinds of music, the hard rock of the clubs causing her to want to move her body, rap making her want to punch someone, and classical making her close her eyes and listen to the swells and falls of the music.
Her foot started tapping to the song in her head, and she could almost hear the big bass drums beating, the flutes and clarinets tunes mixing together as the trumpets blew hard in the distance. Her eyes were closed now, as her mind drifted.
((Yes, I'm really bipolar. I also have a bit of ADHD too. Yah, I'm a strange kid. ^.^))

((wow...! That's awsome! *glomps*X3))
Rowen listened to the tapping. He had a pet peeve against tapping, but let her tap anyways. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.... he counted the taps till his head spun, and he shivered again.
He sunk to the ground next to her and began to rub his arms for warmth, which normally failed or sometimes caused a small fire. Rowen smirked and suddenly laughed, stopping his movements. I can't believe that worked, come to think of it... he thought.

The song in her head changed, Betoveens first sympathy came into her mind. She could imagine her violin in her hands, but at the same time her fingers moving over the keys of the grand piano. She was in the fourteenth measure when she felt someone slide down next to her.
Angrily she looked up. Her mind was still hazy from the music, but the glare slid from her face when she saw Rowen beside her, and laughing at that. He had been rubbing his arms, but now was smirking. His skin looked weird, and without thinking, she moved to touch it. Her fingers grazed his icey skin, and she pulled back in suprise, a gasp coming from her mouth. "Why are you so cold?" She asked, alarmed. Only dead felt like that... Was he dieing?

Rowen jumped. He thought she had been out if it with the irritatingly in tune tapping of her feet. Cold? Oh yeah....Duh. he thought, looking at his skin calmly, sighing. I probably should explain that little curse of ours...I should take her to the hall too, but with Damon, and some one else.
"What are gargoyles normally made of?" he asked softly, rubbing his skin again. The frost was beginning to return. Really? Why the hell haven't we put in a heater or something in this damned mansion? he thought angrily.

"Stone?" Lee said, kind of suprised, for she had not expected him to answer. The second it came from her mind, she felt a flash of pictures go through her mind. Red eyes, stone wings, snow falling and seeming to just sink into gray rock, a young boy punching another in the face, people swelling through the center of town. Blood, so much blood. Screaming, she pulled away from him, pushing herself away from the wall, and scooting down the hall.
Her mind was now spinning. What was wrong with her? Pictures still flashed through her head, but they were going so fast and were so faded she couldn't make out what they were. Her voice echoed through the halls, for she couldn't stop herself from screaming. Her hands were curled into fists, her arms wrapped agianst her belly. STOP! she screamed in her head to the pictures.
((Since you're probally wondering, and I can't keep a secret, I'll tell you what's happening to her. She's an empapath <--- Spelling?. As in her profile, it said she is half angel, and her gift is empathy...I have to go take a shower, so I'll be back in ten to twenty minutes.))

Rowen nodded, about to continue when he saw feared movement. She was scooting away. It all happened quickly, in his mind, but suddenly, she was on the ground screaming in some unknown agony and clutching her head, then her stomach.
People, mostly gargoyles, filed into the hall quicky, following her screams. Damon amoung them. "What happened?" he asked, picking the woman up and taking her to a nearby couch, where she was set down and held down to keep from fighting back. "I don't know...She asked why I was cold, I asked her what we're made of, she scooted away and then this!" Rowen answered in a paniced, confused and scared voice. He felt responsible. Damon nodded, trying to calm the screaming girl.
"Lee...Calm down. What's wrong? We can't help if you can't tell us what's wrong." he murmured softly, almost like a lover. It struck an odd jealousy in Rowen.
((okay.))

((back!!))
The flow of pictures finally stopped, and she started to cry. It wasn't loud sobs, just tears streaming down her face, and she pulled away from the people holding her, and curled up into a ball on the couch. Her brain had gone into protection mode, shock starting up on her. She sat there a few moments, but then another presence seemed to sink into her mind.
"Damon?" She whispered, trying to get her eyes to focus. Suddenly he was near, and she grabbed ahold of him. Pictures came into her mind agian, and suprised, she flinched away from him. God what was happening to her? Now she actually started to sob, as the pictures continued to flow across her line of thought.
Slowly, her tears stopped, and she could still feel that Damon was nearby. Her eyes started to focus, and she also noticed Rowen a distance away from her seeming very nervous. Sighing, she brought her head up, looking around. There were people passing the room she was at, but she did not want to think about the fit she had just had. Turning her green eyes to Damon, she just studied him.

((and now i have to go take a shower, lol.))
Damon's hair was wet, beginning to dry, and he had a much more human look to him. His cheeks were flush and his skin looked a lot less pale. And his red eyes were less bright, and more of a chocolate-brown with red tints. It was as if he was a vampire, and had drinken some blood recently. He had on a black t-shirt and some jeans, but was wearing socks and no shoes.
"Yeah? I'm here." he whispered back, wipping away some tears from her face with a hanky he had, and then offering it to her for any other tears or purposes that may come up within the next few moments. "What happened?" he asked.
Rowen sighed, seeing her hug him, then flinch away. He already wins, practically. he thought, frowning slightly, but more out of worry for Lee. He was silent, listening. Behind him stood his sister, who was a red-haired maiden like Lee, but with red eyes and pale skin. A gargole-ess.

Lee took the hankie, holding it in her hand. At his question she shook her head, pulling her knees up and balencing her chin on them. She was still trying to figure out what was happening herself. First knowing what people were feeling, now touching them and knowing thier thoughts?
Her eyes went to Rowen. "Sorry." She wispered, her voice cracking slightly from her tears. A woman stood behind him, and she frowned, seeing the simalarities between her and herself. The only difference was the red eyes, and the stillness that radiated from her. A little creeped out, her eyes flicked to Rowen then to Damon. Her arms tightened around her legs, but she said nothing more, just watched the two nervously.
