Aveline took a step into the dark office of her emplyoer, she shut the door behind her with a muffled click and glanced over to the large, dark chesnut desk of her boss. He was a pale man, with his hair lightly slicked back, his eyes were black and he had a silver and black soul patch on his chin. "Miss. Bloodlore, nice to see you arrived here in one piece." When the man spoke one could see his teeth were perfectly straight and pure white, glistening cleanly.
She gave him a cocky smile and walked over, standing in front of his desk, hands on her hips. "So, what do you want? Something interesting I hope, and worth my time, you know I hate when you make me do boring assignments." Aveline said, giving an exaggerated sigh.
"Don't worry, this is interesting." The man assured her and leaned back in his seat, looking dark and menacing. "Art has been being smuggled out of my museums, by gargoyles no less, well... From what I understand they're gargoyles. I'd like you to get prrof that they're gargoyles, then I can blackmail them into doing as I want, because you see... They're also stealing some of my business on the black market, and I really hate that." He pushed a small folder of paper over to her across his desktop and Aveline picked it up, leafing through it, looking at the pictures of the people inside. "Watch them, use as many as my workers as you like, just make sure I have them in the palm of my hand as soon as possible." He demanded, his voice was soft but frightening, he was a very powerful man, not powerful in strengh, but when it came to control over people, he had that. The woman nodded, giving him a wry smirk and nodding her head before she turned and left, looking quite excited about this.
FF - Three Days Later
A woman sat across the street on a bench from a large manor, she wore a long black whirly skirt that when just past her knees and a redish-purple blouse with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Her auburn hair was in a messy bun and she wore a pair of sharp reading glasses that rested near the end of her nose. In one hand she held a thick book and was comfortably reading it as she basked in the sun.
Now, Aveline was dressed like this as a disguise, so that no one would notice her once she started to follow her prey around the area. She flipped a page in her book, looking as if she was reading but in all actuality she was staring at the manor, waiting for something to happen and taking it all in. Her plan was to sit there a couple hours, until maybe four in the afternoon-it was noon at the moment-and once it reached that time she'd leave down the street, switch her clothing and take up a different position on the street.
