Gyeden was pissed that she'd floated him out. He unfurled his wings as he finally had control of himself, and made sure to punch her square across the face and send her flying before he took off into the night to head to the mansion.
Damon was sitting in a bar down the street, waiting to hear about the hoist. Was it successful? He sighed and sipped his beer, waiting. Chances were the idiot broke the freaking phone again and they'd have to replace it again...He groaned.

Aveline grunted and her head turned to the side, she brought her hand to her face, rubbing it. Man, what was with guys and punching her across the face? They always seemed to go for that first whenever they got angry with her. She sighed and put her phone away, she could practically feel her cheekbone turning purple, not swelling, just lightly bruising. She straightened herself out, pushing her hair in front of that side of her face and walking down the street. Her feet took her to the nearest bar and she walked inside, going right for the counter to have a quick drink. She was in the same bar Damon was in.

Damon looked over at her, blinking. He shrugged at her appearance, ordering another round. He stood and went to go see what kind of fish were in that part of the sea that night- he was feeling kind of lonely. He took a swig of his beer and looked over at some blond girls. Nah, too perky.

She took a seat on the bar stool, back against the counter, she looked around and took a drink of her beer, she wasn't one for girly drinks, and hard liqour wasn't in her agenda for that evening. Aveline looked a greet deal different from that morning, when she had disguised herself in that librarianish get-up, if Damon recognized her it would be surprising. She touched her face again, wincing a little as she did so. Her eyes landed on Damon and they narrowed slightly, she recognized him, he was one of the people she was supposed to be looking out for.

Damon was chatting up a cute brunette with no boobs. He seemed to zero in on this after a moment and moved on to the next girl. He didn't really find anyone doable there, and Aveline looked like one of those hardasses, so he didn't approach her at all. He simply left the bar.

She frowned as he left and left her hand hang at her side, a tiny little spark of lightning flew out and zipped along the floor, following Damon out of the bar. It attached itself to his clothes, just turning into static electricity. Aveline closed her eyes from her spot in the bar, tracking him, she wouldn't follow him, no, not with the streets so bare of people.

Damon took a seat in an empty park. He pulled out some cigars- he smoked the really nice cuban ones- and puffed silently in the dark. His red eyes followed the shadows silently until his phone rang. "Hello?" he answered, sighing. "...What?" He stood suddenly, anxious. "They have...A new system?...Got the shit shocked out of you...?" He laughed and nearly lost his cigar. "A girl....What did she look like?...She was at the bar I was in!...You clocked her?....Gyeden...Calm down, it's fine, we'll get it some other way...Yes, yes, I'll be home tonight....OKay, bye," he spoke into the blue thing.

Aveline's electricity connected with that of the phones and the conversation was broadcasted loud and clear to her. She licked her lips, so she'd been found out already, well, she guessed she'd just have to deal with that. Her head tilted back a little as she took a nice long swig of the substance, drinking it right on back. It also appeared that the museum was not safe at all, which meant she'd be spending a lot of her time there.

Damon finally returned home at around four in the morning. He tossed his jacket into a closet and then stripped his remaining clothes. He was going to shower and such, and then enjoy some time in the basements springs and pools of water until it was time to go play statue for the tourists again. He couldn't wait for his day off to sleep inside and stay human.

Aveline finally felt Damon go to his home and cut the connection off, the small amount of electricity giving Damon a soft static shock as it disappeared. The woman yawned and opened the door to her house, tired, she'd walked around all night, waiting for Damon to get to his place finally.
FF - That Night
Aveline was in the museum once more, it was going to close soon and she was just walking around, checking things out. She didn't look as tough as she had the night before, she was just in a plain black canvas jacket, a grey t-shirt, jeans, and black boots. There was a bruise on her cheek from being punched, but she had her hair covering that part of her face. She'd be staying there for most of the night that night, waiting and watching. And while she did this she had people situated around the gargoyles manor, hiding and watching for any movement.

They weren't going to steal again that night, not from that museum. Damon instead headed out in his car and drove around, looking at the night lights until he found an open art museum. They were having a gallery opening until midnight. He parked and headed inside, walking around slowly, enjoying the culture.

Aveline received a phone call and grabbed it. "Tsk, tsk. Well that's no good," She paused to hear what her caller said, "just get someone capable to come here and take over while I go and keep a watch on the other-... Yes, alright, the address? O...kay. See you, bye." The phone went dead and she slipped it away and left the museum, she was going to go and keep an eye on Damon.
She drove to the gallery and stepped out of her car, looking at the new place, pondering on if it was one of her bosses new places. The woman shrugged and walked in, beginning to discretely look around for the gargoyle.

He was looking at a painting. His eyes were half-lidded, glowing in thought. He honestly hated the galleries, but there was always quiet in them. He was trying to figure out, at the moment, whether he wanted Chinese for dinner or Thai. He definitely wanted an Asian dinner, but where to go...Hibachi perhaps? He wanted a date too..."Splendid," he finally mumbled and went to the next painting.

She finally saw him, his back was turned to her, sh smirked a little bit and wet over to a picture, turning her back to him in turn. Aveline looked at the painting in front of her, studying it curiously for a moment and then moving to the next, as she did this she peeked at Damon. Now was really a good time to plan on her course of action to take in order to make him and his little pals stop stealing from her boss.

Damon spotted movement and looked at the girl. she looked like the hardass from the bar the other night. He shrugged and returned to the picture he was looking at. He nodded to himself- confirming what he wanted to eat- and then went the next picture. It was a bunch of rotting fruit. Shouldn't have looked here before dinner. Dumb move.
