"...I'm sorry, I'm still lost. Clue to what?" she asked, standing and getting him some water and then handing it to him. She took a seat beside him on the floor, listening to the emergency outside now.

Solin stared at her in astonishment as he took the water from her, then drew up straight as she sat beside him. This was...odd.
"You're acting strangly calm for a person whose just had they're house broken into and someone kill themself right in front of you."

"...Shock?" she tried, shrugging. "I don't know, it hasn't sunk in yet...Although, honestly, I was more freaked out that you broke in and fainted. That freaked me out most...Well, aside from the dude offing himself from my window. I might have to move..."
Corinne looked at the window and grimaced. She would never see it the same way again.

Solin felt instant guilt and hung his head. "I'm sorry. That was my fault. You shouldn't have called the Ambulance. You should have just left me there."

Corinne blinked. "Why?" she asked, utterly confused as to this fact. "You were unconscious, why would I...How is any of this your fault? I mean, sure, the breaking into my home part and then passing out is kind of your fault, but...I'm still not following."
She looked at him. Her glasses were framing her face, hiding away its beauty. Her sunny hair fell behind her shoulders, showing her perfect neck off. Her lips had a flushed color to them, and they were moist enough that the looked oh-so-kissable.

Solin stared at her in silence a moment. Before lifting his hand and touching her glasses. "Why do you hide behind these?"

Corinne frowned. "Because I can't see and contacts are frustrating to deal with," she answered simply and pulled them off to clean him.

Solin found himself smiling faintly at her remark. "Why did you chose them so big? It's hard to see how beautiful you truely are with them hiding your face."

Corinne flushed and stood. "U-ugh, cause...I like them!" she answered, rubbing her neck. "Look, are you going to get up, or what? My kitchen floor is dirty!" She smiled at him and offered him her other hand to stand.

Solin stared at her hand a moment before pushing himself off of the floor. "I'm sorry. It's got nothing to do with you, I just shouldnt' touch you. It might work this time."

"What might?" she asked, confused. She went and kicked her shoes off by the front door and shut it- it had been left open when the EMT's had arrived. And she'd never gotten to relax that afternoon.

Solin frowned at her actions. "You're shutting the door when a complete stranger is in your home who just so happened to break in in the first place?"

"Yeah," she answered. "If you're fainting every so often, I'm not too concerned about you attacking me or anything...WEll..." SHe grabbed her new umbrella. "I am, but not entirely."

Solin smiled at her but couldn't keep the troubled expression from reaching his eyes. What was he doing exactly? By the looks of it it seemed like he was just having a friendly conversation with a human.
And he was enjoying it.
Was this right? Should he leave? It's not like he could leave the realm until his mission was completed though, which was impossible. But why was it impossible?
Glancing up at her he tried to sound as nonchaulant as possible. "Corinne...has anything strange ever happened to you?"

"Like...you need to define strange for me," she answered and took a seat on her couch and then laid down. She was tired, and wanted nothing more than to rest now, but she was talking to Solin about...something.
