"Let's do something to cheer you up." I said, standing up and holding my hand out to him. "What do you want to do. We have the rest of the night to do whatever you want."

I took her hand and I stood up. I always sucked at doing things with girls. "Umm, I don't know. What do you want to do?" I said, sticking my hands in my pockets and sheepishly smiled.

"I asked first." I said, pulling his hand closer to me. "There most be something?"

"Well, we could go back to the coffee shop." As I said that, I realized I lost my first coffee. i shrugged it off, and looked at her.

"Sure. That sounds great." I say, pulling him towards the shop. "What kind of coffee do you drink?"

I thought of something but then quickly shook it off. "I like a mix of swiss mocha with french vanilla. How about you?" I replied.

I cocked my head slightly to the side. "What makes mint ones different during Christmas than any other ordinary day?" i asked.

((I think i remember you saying you didnt complete speech therapy. is that why ur grammar isnt that good?))
I hummed in acknowledgment. "I can see that." I replied. As we got closer to the coffee shop, there was an awkward silence between us. I hated when this happened. But as we got just outside the shop, I held the door open for her. "After you, my lady." i said with a cheesy grin.

(No, meaning some muscles in areas of my body weren't fully developed when I was born, including the ones that help me speak. I have been writing incorrectly because I'm not the best writer. Sorry.)
I blush and duck through the door. "Thank you. Where do you want to sit?" I asked.

(( it's fine )) I chuckled quietly to myself. I closed the door behind me, and looked around the shop for a quiet place to sit. there was an empty seat in way back in the corner. "There." i said, pointing to the other end of the coffee shop.

"Sure" I said, heading over to the area he pointed to. "I love this coffee shop. Do you come here a lot? I asked, sitting in one of the booths. It was dimmed lighting, and the store was warm. It made me feel exhausted, especially when I remembered how long I had been awake for so far. I yawned. "Sorry. I'm just a little tired." I apologized.

I sat down on the other end of the table. "Eh, I like to come here a lot. If you call them knowing what I always get, coming here a lot, then yes." I let out a embarrassed laugh. I looked down at the table and twiddled my thumbs.

"Yeah. I come here a lot too. I work night shift so I usually depend on coffee to stay awake. It's weird that I've never seen you here before though." I said as I watched how he nervously played with his hands.
