An eerie breeze surrounded her, a whisper in her ears "Welcome. The bedroom is third door on the left." There was a soft chuckle as it seemed like the shadows were leading her to the room.

A chill ran up and down her spine and she snorted indignantly, finding her way to the room and then walking in. She mentally sighed, she wondered how long he'd deal with her presence for. Alarissa ground her teeth together thoughtfully, she guessed she could try to annoy him somehow, be a rude bitch, purposefully wreck some of his things. "What an odd ability, to have control over the shadows... Nifty."

Lexi was sitting nude on the bed, his hat in between his legs; he smirked as she walked in. "Hey, glad you came." The room was dark, almost pitch black, though he knew as a vampire, it didn't make a difference.

Alarissa looked at him and then at where his hat was and she laughed and looked away. "Of, darling, how cute you are, very cute, such a childish thing!" She smiled, looking at him again, not at all embarassed. "I've been alive a very long time, i've seen it all, Lexi."

Lexi smirked a bit "Don't think I'm embarrassed either dear, just a bit of fun." He tossed the hat to her, leaving himself completely exposed, "Don't think I'm so young; shadows don't die so easily." He grinned, his body seemingly melting into the shadows, though he could still be seen clearly. "Ever hear of those occurrences when people feel like someone is caressing them though no one is in the room?"

"Oh, don't tell that's one of your kind feeling people up?" Aveline caught the hat and twirled it around her dainty pointer finger as she kept her eyes on him. "What an ability, so useful yet you use it for such nonsensical things." She let out a 'tsk' and shook her head at him. "Tell me, how long have you been alive for?"

Lexi slowly stood up and walked over to her "Imagine if we did use it for higher purposes. Political, military, whatever we wished. How many enemies would we create?" He gently pushed her to the wall, placing a hand to the wall beside her head. "We are a simple kind, we don't care for status or power, and we've stayed off the hunting radar for centuries; only a small percent of our deaths have been from human, or other, hunters." He smiled a bit "As for my age... Long enough to see this city change." He smirked a bit, his shadows slowly crawling up her body.

Her eyes narrowed and she looked down, her hands clenching into fists and then relaxing again. "Dull, very dull. Don't you ever just want to make an enemy so that you'e got something to do after being around all of these years? The thrill of being attacked or having to watch out for your life instead of just being safe and neutral?" Alarissa questioned, she was shuffling her feet a little, disliking the shadows on her body, it made her once again feel vulnerable.

Lexi shook his head "Tsk, you think we never attack? Shadows are very good Assassins you know. We work in secret under Alias' and in separate areas, never getting caught." He leaned in a bit, their noses almost touching as his eyes peered deep into hers, "I can name five humans, vampires, werewolves, and almost any other race that has been killed by a shadow; discreetly, and never traceable." He smirked, "I could kill you, but they know it would be me." His shadows gripped her a bit, then released her completely.

"Or I could kill you and I would make sure everyone knew exactly who it was." She grinned, her fangs elongnating slightly, she laughed and slipped away from him. "So is it right for me to assume that you're alluding to past times when you yourself have been hired to kill people for currency? Then why is this so different? You'd be assassinating werewolves... But you'd just be on a sort of contract." Alarissa purred quietly, her back him.

Lexi watched her slip away, keeping his eyes on her. "Like I said, it has to be discreet, unknown, and untraceable. You know who I am and how to find me, my look is irrelevant, since I can change it quite easily with simple shadowing." He smirked bit as his face went black before making it appear as her own, hair and all, though his body still male. "Kind of creepy isn't it? Seeing yourself as a guy." He slowly stepped toward her, "I could do the other details, but it takes too much effort." His face went black again, turning back to normal. "Since you can find me, if I turn or fail, though I never fail, you will have a source."

She watched him, her eyes narrowing at the creepiness of it all, she shrugged and looked away. "So you won't do it for me because I know your face..." Alarissa huffed and walked away from him again, making her way over to his bed and taking a seat on it, crossing one leg over the other and watching him. "You're a stubborn little thing." She commented, her eyes darkening a little.

Lexi chuckled "Indeed, you know my face." He smirked a little "I assume it's safe to say that the others probably do not. Since you were alone tonight, you are the only one who knows about me." He walked over to a dresser, opening the top drawer, looking for something. "The other foolish bats only have a name and club of where to find me." He pulled out a card and tossed it to her.

She caught the card between two fingers and raised her eyebrows. Alarissa spun the card around between her fingers a little bit. "How rude you are, called my species foolish, we may be a lot of things but we certainly aren't fools." The woman sighed and looked at the card, "And this is for?"

He closed the drawer and smirked "A calling card of sorts. Go to that address, there will be an X on the wall down the alley way beside it. Place the card there, and I will appear; in any form I wish." He walked over to the bed, sitting beside her. "You are not to speak of that card to anyone. If I am to deal with vampires, you are the only one I want to deal with my dear." He smiled, placing a hand on her cheek.
