Lilly had just stood up when Cahira came tumbling into the...room. She grunted and looked at Cahira, then around the room once more. It appeared to be some sort of church, with the relics and the candles around the room. She stood again and walked around in awe- this was the sort of thing she'd wanted to study.

Cahira stood up quickly and looked around, looking weary and angry and a bit nervous. She started to pace the room, sniffing and muttering curses under her breath. "Magic.... that book was magic." She grumbled irritably and glared at one of the candles, needing something to blame for this mess but not knowing what. She couldn't really blame Lilly for it... "Stupid book."

"My uncle wrote that book...I wonder if this is where he learned his things! He left the pack to learn!" she babbled and suddenly hugged Cahira. "If you weren't so annoying and made me feel weak we never would have found this! Thank you!" she chirped and looked around excitedly. A few priests came in and stared at them in confusion until Lilly explained what had happened. They had trained her uncle, and when she learned this, she looked at Cahira with hopeful eyes. "Can...I learn...?" she asked Cahira, hoping the girl wouldn't mind. If she did, she supposed she would just go off on her own. But somehow she didn't think Cahira would ever leave. "It'll take two years...could we stay here? I'm sure they have hunting and training you can do too!"

Cahira stared at Lilly with thoughtful, cold eyes and then looked at the priests, she nodded her head simply. "We can stay here, you can train." Maybe Lilly would learn to really be useful. "And don't ever hug me again." She warned grumpily and scratched the back of her neck. Perhaps she'd take up some sort of training... If there was anything like combat being taught there at all... And reading... Yes, she'd like to really learn how to read and write. The wolf growled about something and headed out of the room, not liking to be surrounded by all of those people.

FF- Two Years Later
Lilly was finally allowed to lift herself from the table. She covered her breasts with a sheet and sat up, eyes closed. For the past three days she had been receiving the tattoos that indicated her completion of training as a Healer. Her hair was pulled back into a pony-tail and her clothes were laid before her.
An hour later she had her thing packed and looked around for Cahira. The priests had had some martial arts training, reading and writing lessons, and had taught other various lessons. Lilly on the other hand had learned magic, reading runes, healing, and other various spiritual tasks. In this world, Lilly fit in a lot getter- but Cahira fit in even more than she did still. There was constant violence and awful things happening. Lilly didn't much care for this, but at least she could help out more now.
She was wearing a thin blue-gray sweater and a long green skirt and boots. She had a backpack full of her books, runes, medicinal things and magics, as well as extra clothes and personal items. She had learned how to fish but mostly ate vegetables and fruits.
Today they were supposed to leave- to travel. She continued to look for Cahira.

Cahira had learned a lot, she sucked in all of the information that she could and excelled in fighting. She never stopped hunting though, even if food was iven to her, she still always went out and killed things in order to feed herself. She'd also become a lot quieter, still angry and bad-tempered, but able to control herself better.
She'd grown too, she was taller and her hair was longer, her body had filled out and was fit and athletic, all of her baby-fat gone.
"Lilly." Cahira spoke up and walked toward Lilly, finding the woman before she herself was found. Her eyes were grey and showed excitement, she was grinning wolfishly, "You're ready to leave?" She was wearing a tight black shirt, the sleeves stopped at her elbows, she also wore black, thin, travelling pants and sash around her waist. Her feet were completely bare, as they alays were.

Lilly nodded and bowed her head respectfully. "I am ready to leave," she answered and motioned for Cahira to lead the way. "Where were you? Hunting?" she asked thoughtfully. She knew they were probably heading to the port at the base of the island (the priest's home was at the top of the island). She figured they were taking a boat. "Did you go searching for a boat that would take us?" She was excited to be traveling again.

"No, I was just..." She trailed off and then looked away. "It doesn't matter what I was doing." Cahira paused by a treet to pick up her leather, thin, brown pack and sling it across her shoulders."I did sign up for a boat though." Cahira gave a nod, her face straight, her eyes cautious, as always. She licked her lips and sniffed the air. She didn't know to much about the boat that was taking them, but whatever, at least it had accepted to take them.

Lilly nodded with a grin on her face. "That's great! Will it cost us anything?" she asked, curious. "What sort of boat is it? Did you get the name? Whose the captain?" She looked at Cahira, all smiles.

She growled. "You talk so damn much sometimes." Cahira huffed and shoved her hands into her pockets, her shoulders hunching. "No, it won't cost us anything at all, it's a big ship, don't know the name, don't know the Captain, talked to a subordinate of his." She'd talked to some recruiting guy, it hadn't been a long conversation.

"Oh...What did the recruiting guy look like?" she asked. "And I talk much to find things out- such as whether or not this ship is safe." She had seen pirates come into town before. She didn't like them much.
Sirius stepped foot onto the deck, stretching. He was the second in command of the ship. His violet eyes flickered around the other men before he went to see about the new people coming. Word spread that a few women were joining- four or five of them. He liked that, it meant new women to fool around with. The other girls had gotten boring.

"He was older." Cahira shrugged, she didn't go by appearances, she went by smells. "He seemed alright, not a threat." Well, not a threat to her in any way at least. She glanced out of the corner of her eye, giving Lilly a bored look. "Took two years for you to learn everything..." She snorted, looking away.
Fawkes was lounging around the deck boredly, he'd also heard about the new girls, he wasn't to interested, besides, the chicks would probably only be used for sex anyways. He scratched the side of his tanned nose and looked at Sirius, watchig him boredly. Fawke's wasn't a big fan of being just a silly deck hand, but he tried to listen... For the most part.

Lilly frowned deeply. She needed to stop trusting Cahira on errands. She couldn't count how many times she sent her on trips for something and got a weird answer. "...Define threat for me, please," Lilly said suddenly, her happy face becoming blank with realization. They probably got some ho-dunk crap shoot of a boat.
Sirius walked over to Fawkes and took a seat by him. He liked Fawkes- he was funny. "Good day, my friend," Sirius greeted and smiled at him, his eyes shining. "Did you hear we were getting more women? About time we got some new meat, eh?" he said with a dark laugh. "One of 'ems a read head...I can't wait to find out about that girl..."

"He wouldn't be able to hurt me, or endanger my life, he smelt alright too... Fairly clean." Cahira had seen the boat for sure though, and it had been big and nice, the people on it had seemed like hardworkers, then again she hadn't gone onto the boat.
Fawkes turne dhis head, looking at Sirius, his dark eyes a little amused. "You're into red heads, huh? Oh, nevermind, you're into everything." He chuckled to himself, no worried that he was making fun of someone in a higher position then him.

Lilly sighed to herself. She looked around and spotted the boats on the horizon. She saw two pirate boats and many fishing boats. "...Was it a small boat or the really big boat?" she asked, tone dry. The biggest boat was a pirate ship. She had a sinking feeling in her gut.
Sirius smirked and leaned in, his forehead pressing against Fawkes'. "I am into everything," he purred and licked the other man's cheek before bounding away. "I want the women to arrive," he said to no one in particular. "I'm horny."
