"Uhh..." Anthony glanced sideways with a shrug. "Just little things...I don't want to make you nervous so we can just see how it goes." Anthony glanced around his room a moment. "But maybe we should wait until night time when its safer."

Dennis didn't feel like waiting at all. "Well, then what are we supposed to do until then?" He asked, glancing outside. It was afternoon, so it wouldn't be too much of a wait.

((oh gah has it really been a week? lol when Finals come the days just pass in a blur to me O.o I thought it was only just two days or so!!! Still working, so I may not post to frequently tonight, but I'll try for some at least!))
Anthony shrugged, glancing around the room. "Well you can do whatever you'd like, I actually have a part time I have to get to." Standing he popped his neck a few times. "My shift ends right after sun down, though, so by the time I get back to your place it should be just about time."

(((*hands out golden trophey in LP shape* And it seem's you are this week's winner for the Lamest Post award!!!* *audience cheers!* LMAO jk XD eh, not much you can say to that!)))
Moving to the window, after pushing it open Anthony hopped up on it's sill and turned to wink at Dennis with a crooked grin on his face. "Try to avoid anyone who looks like they wanna kick your ass till I get back, yeah? Later." Laughing he jumped backwards, twisting around in the air and landing on the ground in a crouch. Jumping to his feet he jogged the short distance to the woods, where he immedietly changed into his white wolf form, and set off for downtown. Honestly, they could have tried transforming during the day, but with Dennis being relatively new to this he kinda wanted to make sure that no accidents happened, and no one would stumble upon them. Anthony may make quite a few dumb decisions in his life, but he knew when to be smart. Realizing that he had left his backpack in Dennis bedroom he released a deep growl of frustration. His nametag was in there, and his boss always got pissed off whenever he didn't have it. Oh well, guess he'd have to do without tonight. Running faster he raced to not be late for his shift.

Dennis realized in a few moments that Anthony had left his backpack, but he didn't know where the kid worked and figuring he'd be back later, Dennis just left it there. Considering he had time, he took off his shirt and bottoms and curled up in his bed in lieu of doing homework, wanting to get some rest before the test.

Anthony worked on a chain store downtown that sold movies, music, and a few musical instruments. He had had the job for about a month now, and though it wasn't the best he'd had, it wasn't half bad either. He got good hours, and luckily his boss was only a few years older than him, one of those rockers that wore skinny jeans and studded belts and had piercings in his face and ears and put enough styling gel in his hair that Anthony could always smell him as soon as he turned the corner on the street the shop was located. But he was a cool guy. Bas was his name, or rather what he liked to be called. His full name was Bastian, but he had always complained it was too soft and whimpy for his badass-ness. A statement Anthony always considered both ironic and amusing, considering Bas himself was a bit of a midget, only five foot five. As Anthony entered the store, the acoustic strum of a guitar from the back told him that Bas was playing one of the guitars for sell yet again. The man was obsessed with the things, and played them so often that customers thought he was one of them and not a manager. The fact that he never wore his name tag made it even harder for his position to be known. "Yo! Anthony!" His voice called from the distance in greeting, and Anthony shook his head with a small grin as he headed behind the counter, wondering yet again how the man had realized he was here when in was no where in sight from the high rows of movies and cd's that blocked his view. "I swear the guy's some some weird radar or something." One of Anthony's fellow employee's said as she walked up to him with a grin. "He's got something." Anthony said, reaching under the desk and pulling out his nametag, pulling it over his neck and letting it hang against his chest. "If he weren't so damn adorable I think I'd be freaked out." She replied, laughing with him a moment before heading back to walk around the store and make sure no one needed any help. Anthony manned the register on his shift. It was a bit boring, but then again Anthony welcomed boring sometimes. Besides, he wasn't much of a people person. Didn't really know how to talk to them. Quite often he just came across as rude. Eh. It was what it was. "Well you look all chipper." Glancing over Anthony saw Bas approaching him with a grin. A hat covered his inky black hair, which, Anthony normally would have thought dyed, but he had a feeling Bas was mixed with some darker race's blood, what with his deeply tanned skin and near marble eyes. African maybe. Or Egyptian. "Chipper? Glad you told me. I'll stop whatever I'm doing immedietly." Snorting Bas moved to lean against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest and looking out the stores see through windows. "You always were a bit of a smart-ass." "Gonna fire me for it?" "Hell no." Bas turned that grin to him. "I like it. Keep's things entertaining. And we sure as hell need something to pass the time here." He added with a roll of his eyes. Anthony frowned down at him. "If you hate this place so much why'd you take a manager's position?" "The same reason you took the job in general. Money, bro! Can't live without it." "Unfortunately." Anthony grumbled, glancing up to a customer as she approached the counter. Bas greeted her with a wide, dimpled smile, stepping to the side, and Anthony watched as the woman blushed slightly and spoke with him a moment before finally moving to the counter. Anthony took her movies with a crooked grin. Bas had always been able to charm anyone that walked into the store. He was pretty sure it was just because women found him so adorable or something. Eh. Women always did like small, cute things. Dude was lucky in that sense. He must get laid a lot. After checking her out Anthony moved the movies to a bag, and handed them to her, not even bothering to smile and say thanks, or goodbye or whatever. After the woman had left the store Bas turned to him with a slight frown. "We gotta work on your people skills, dude." "Won't do no good if I don't like people." Bas looked at him a moment with a slightly surprised, arched brow, before snorting in laughter, shaking his head. "Ahhh.....I love my job." Grabbing a sucker from his pocket he unwrapped it and popped it in his mouth before leaning on the counter again, turning to look out the window once more. Anthony watched as a frown began to grow on his face. "Don't mean to freak you out, but there's a very strange looking man staring intensely at you outside." Automatically thinking Dennis, Anthony wondered what he was doing at the store, but after he had turned he saw not a short, emo looking boy, but rather a full grown man with light colored hair and a long brown coat. The guy was just standing out there, and like Bas had said, staring at him with an unnervingly intense gaze. His wolf whispered 'fight', and Anthony tensed immediately, drawing straighter and lowering his head. It was an instinctual movement, but seemed to speak for itself, because the man next turned and walked away, down the street and out of sight. "Whoa.....that was a little freaky." Bas said, turning to look at him with an arched brow. "Friend of yours?" "No." Anthony said after a moment, still staring out the window. "I have no idea who it was." But whoever it was, they had triggered a response from his wolf. Which was not a good thing. ((((ooookay haha so i was gonna go ahead and introduce the Hunters arrriving in town. I just wanted to get a small glimpse of one though, something to signify coming trouble. Also, i LOVE Bas! so much so i wanted to find a person for him haha :3)

(OMG NO STOP WITH THE WENTZ EVERYWHERE OMG IM HAVING HEART PALPITATIONS)
Dennis woke up to a cooler, darker room. For a while he just laid there, barely even awake, until he heard a drip of water. He blinked groggily, sitting up and glancing around. There weren't any faucets in his room, because that wasn't correct architect. So where was that infernal dripping sound coming from? With a groan, Dennis pushed himself out of bed and plodded to his door, peeking out of it. The dripping got louder. "Did we spring a leak?" He asked himself, frowning. But when he checked the bathroom, the sink and tub were dry. He could still hear the dripping, and as he made his way downstairs he realized what he was hearing was the steady drips from the kitchen sink. Which was downstairs and on the opposite side of the house from his room. He shouldn't be able to hear that well at all. "Denny?" Dennis flinched, turning to look over his shoulder at his sister. The loud drip stopped, and his hearing went back to normal. "Um, yeah?" His sister looked dog tired, and was standing in only her nightgown. She smiled at him tiredly, "Tuck me in, okay?" Dennis did as he was ordered, picking her up and carrying her back to her room where Rae loomed protectively until the little girl fell asleep. Dennis sighed, returning to his room and shutting his door. He sat down on his bed, brushing his hands over his face. Anthony still hadn't popped up, and Dennis was still groggy. But if he went back to sleep, he'd just be in a bad mood for whenever Anthony did show up. So instead Dennis went about slipping on a pair of sweatpants and a black tee, ruffling his hair and stretching tiredly.

"Yo, Anthony! You can clock out!" Looking up from where he was stocking DVD's, Anthony found Bas, unsurprisingly, sitting on a chair towards the back playing with one of the guitars. "Why don't you just buy one of the things?" He called, finishing putting the DVD's up. Bas turned to look over his shoulder at him with an arched brow and expression that said 'you're kidding right?' "Dude, I've got four at home. Seriously?" Shaking his head with a grin Anthony moved up to the counter, pulling his nametag over his head and stuffing it in a compartment. Grabbing his zip up hoodie he pulled it on, leaving it unzipped. It had gotten dark outside, and most likely a bit cold. Grabbing a pen he 'clocked out', which was basically finding his name on a clipboard of paper and marking what time he ended his shift. Bas had never been one for technology, and refused to allow people to clock in and out electronically while he was on shift. Anthony didn't blame the guy. Quite a few times the system would make mistakes. It was much easier, and safer this way. "Hey. Better be careful going home." Bas said, coming to stand beside him with a slickly wicked grin on his face. "You're creeper could be waiting for you out there somewhere. He must'a thought you were pretty." Anthony snorted, looking down with a crooked smile. "I'm not taking that from some guy who doesn't even reach my shoulders and who has a baby face." " Baby face?![/img] How dare you, sir!" Bas faked being offended, but couldn't hold back his grin long. "It's not my fault my mother wasn't an amazon and my father a giant." "My mom was actually shorter than you." Anthony replied, heading around the counter. "Guess I took after my dad." "No shit." Bas said dryly before nodding his head. "Alright. Be careful out there, seriously. I'll see you later." Nodding to him Anthony headed out of the store. On the street he paused, looking around, but when saw no strange man in a brown coat shrugged it off and pulled his hoodie up, zipping it as well, when he realized it was a bit colder than he had expected. Putting his hands in his pockets for warmth he headed down the street, waiting until he had taken shelter under the trees before shifting into his wolf form. He got to Dennis' about twenty five minutes later, and after shifting back, and picking up a small pebble, thew it at his window upstairs.

Dennis flinched, having dozed off for maybe ten minutes. The pebble against his window had sounded much louder than one would expect, so his hearing must have wonked out on him again. With a sigh he grabbed a jacket and tugged on some shoes, opening his window and leaning out slightly. Once he decided it was Anthony - who else would it be? - Dennis lifted his leg and slipped out of the window, nearly toppling but instead landing squarely on his feet. He reflexively bowed at the knees so it would absorb the force of his land and stop him from falling over like an idiot. He straightened up, smiling lightly, "Hey, how was work?"

Anthony grinned down at him. "Yah. That will switch on and off until you learn to control it. I remember the first time it happened to me. I was at the park with my kid brother. He was throwing a frisbee to our dog, a golden retriever. And all of a sudden I could hear every conversation of everyone in the park. Their voices was overwhelming, like a hundreds of lightning clashes at once. It was almost too much to handle. I thought that my head was going to explode." As Anthony continued to walk to the woods his smile slowly fell as soon as he realized what he had just done. He had actually revealed something about himself. Clearing his throat, slightly surprised at his own self, Anthony finally stopped once they were deep in the woods. "Alright...so you can already change into a jaguar, maybe we should try something smaller. You might find it surprising...but the smaller you become the harder it is for you to change. It's so different from your body's natural length and mass."

Dennis smiled at Anthony's little story, but he didn't reply to it. It actually made him a little nervous - he couldn't imagine being able to hear everything at school. "Great, I've always loved a challenge. So, what? House cat? Lynx?" He tried to dredge up his limited knowledge of breeds of cats, frowning slightly. "The...uh...the cat with..the big eyes? What's it called? An Ocelot?" He bit his lip for a minute, thinking on that, and then shrugged. "Whatever it is."
