"Oh. I see." she said, slightly surprised. In the past, she had never thought of Jason as having needs, seeing as he had been all business and no pleasure. "Hey, remember that key you used to wear around your neck to that journal? What was in it?" she asked, suddenly remembering her very first night at his mansion.

"It's my diary," he answered and pulled the Key from his pocket. "You can't read it." He slid the key back in. "I'm surprised you tried to steal it though," he said and flashed her a look, smiling teasingly.

Laughing, she said, "What else could possibly be in that diary that I don't already know? I mean, I've known you for about 4 years, although three of them you were in an alternate universe."

"My feelings, thoughts, fully detailed past, opinions...Desires," he answered slowly. Jason glanced at her then away and pulled up at her apartment.

"Okay, maybe I asked the wrong question.....what's in there that you don' want me to see?" she asked, eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Desires, feelings...thoughts..." he drifted off. "Challenge: if you can get my key from me, you may read my diary."

Excited by the challenge, she eyed him eagerly. "So, where are you hiding it?" she asked, a mischevious grin on her face.

"Let me tell you the rules first," he scolded her. "No threatening with weapons, and you cannot have an outside source trick me into giving them the key so they can give it to you, however, you can use my family-which I'd call and inside source- to do so because I know my nieces love games." He smiled at her. "Lilly wouldn't help you- she'd probably help me, but Xavier would definitely help you...As for where it is, you'll have to figure that out on your own."

Raising her eyebrow, she said, "Game on. I'll have that key by tomorrow when we meet for dinner." Getting out of the car, she said, "I hope you realize you just opened pandora's box." before closing the door and running up to her apartment, not wanting to get drenched in the rain.

He watched her leave before driving back to his place. He was going to put his key in a place that was very hard to get it off of without his notice.

Lying down, Serenity set her alarm o'clock to wake her up around 8, wanting to get up early to start searching for the key.

The next Evening a familiar limousine parked outside the apartment, and Jason waited with an umbrella open to protect him from the rain. He headed upstairs to her room and knocked, waiting silently for her to answer. He hoped she was prepared for a very, very, very nice restaurant.

Serenity had taken hours to get ready for this dinner. She had straitened and curled her hair, spent extra time on her makeup, gone out and bought the perfect little black dress and matching jewelry and heels, sprayed herself with her favorite perfume, and definately made sure she'd shave her legs. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door, hoping she wasn't overdressed.

((i'll be back on around 1))
Jason was in a black tuxedo with a red flower over his pocket, and his hair was smoothed and geled back. He smiled at her. "Good evening," he greeted in a soft voice. "You look...very marvolous."

((okay, cool)) "And you, um-" she said, feeling embarrased. "You look marvelous too." Smiling, she thought to herself how she had never seen him in a tux before. "So where are we going?" she asked, thankful she obviously hadn't overdressed judging by what he was wearing.
