"Slow and painful...Knife then, or some other sharp device?" he suggested. For some reason he had the urge to show her the scythe he had, but he didn't for safety reasons.

"Ok, lets start with the knives then." she said, smiling widely.

Jason motioned to her to follow him and lead her downstairs to the basement. He flipped the light on and revealed a museum, essentially, of weapons. On the left wall was a variety of amazing weapons.

"Sooooo, do i get to choose which one I want to use?" she asked, her eyes drifting across his extensive collection of weapons.

"You can pick and choose, and it'll be your responsibility to polish, clean, and sharpen them. You are to learn the history behind any weapon you choose, and I will compile a lesson plan for each weapon you select," he answered and informed her as he went into a room that was locked adjacent to that one. He shut the door and some noises could be heard from behind the door, before he came back out carrying a few other weapons that were less rare, less beautiful, but a lot easier to maintain. THey were locked up because they were also the lightest and easiest to grab of his weapons, while the other ones on the walls were enchanted, locked, or ridiculously heavy.

"Which would you recommend for someone like me?" she asked, curious as to how many people he had trained before her.

"Whatever you feel a connection with- like if something calls to you, go for it," he answered. "Like ninjas use those...throwing stars, and the grim reaper uses a scythe, and knights like swords, and...what're they, amazons use spears...Something that's just made for you."

"Hmmmm..." she said, running her fingers across each weapon. Stopping in front of a pair of katana's, she said, "What about these, how hard are they to use?"

He shrugged. "Not that difficult, but I know how to use them, so...Bias opinion there. Is that what you want?" he asked her.

"I'm not sure..." she said, her eyes drifting to the throwing star's he'd metioned earier. "What about this?" she said, picking up the spiked whip to her right. Flicking it with the flip of her wrist, she savored the sound it made as it tore through the air.

"Obviously those are probably easy, it's just a manner of maneuvering it to do what you want it to do," he told her and started to walk around, looking at some of his favorite weapons. He lifted a mace up and examined it. He'd always fancied the mace, for some reason.
((ha ha, reference!))

"My weapons of choice are none of your business until you pick one up," he said, showing her the mace. "Like this one, for example, is off limits." Jason smirked at her and put it away. "Alright, lets go to the library. I want an essay on the history of the whip, and I will quiz you on its history. While you are researching and reading up, I will be making a training lesson for you for however long it'll take for you to get the basics of it."
Jason led her back upstairs and locked the basement door behind him, and then lead the way to the most massive library anyone had ever seen. THere were probably books in there that no one had ever heard of in there. He lead her to a table and had her sit, and told her how to find books- non-fiction was to the left and on the red shelves, fiction was on the black shelves. Things should be in alphabetical order, but sometimes they weren't. "I apologize if they are not easy to find. Have fun," he said and started to leave.

"Wait." she said, turning to face him. "How is the history of whips going to help me in fighting? It'd just be a waste of my time."

"It might not. Techiniques, how its maintained, how it was maintained, secrets of the whip, etc are all very good things to read up on. It's just very good to know about what you're using instead of being some gun-ho, or whatever that phrase is, person who just whips it around like some super-hero. I'm not going to let you just learn how to use the weapon, but I want you to know what it is and who it was important too as well," he told her. "Now get to work."
