"I'll be fine." he said. "i'll eb fine. It's not the worse thing that has happened to to me." He let her help him up because he wasn't too sure he could do it on his own.

Leading him back to her house after helping him get safely off the ice, she led him into her living room, making him a hot cup of hot cocoa and bringing it to him.

"Thank you." he said accepting the hot cocoa. He took a hesitant, small sip of it. It was hot. He looked down at it. "You are a very kind perosn." he said looking at her.

"Yes," he said smiling at her. This was uncomfortable. He doesn't need to eat or drink. He was wondering hwo this was going to effect him.

He put his hnd to his face. "Not your fault." he said. "I...it's just that you're right. I am afraid to let people in, and this is actually the first time I have been caught in the acts of my lying or faking myself...so this is a new experience for me. I'm sorry." he said looking down.

"Don't say sorry." She said, sitting down beside him. "Your only protecting yourself, which is a natural instinct. But, I won't hurt you, I promise. I don't expect you to take my word for it or anything, I just want you to know." she said, giving him a small smile.

He shook his head. "I'm just going to tell you. Perhaps it's best that you know." he said, and turned his body to face her completely. "When I was younger...my mother she....molested me." he finally said it aloud. "and later it turned into rape, and when my dad found out...he killed her."

She froze, the color draining from her face. "I- I'm so sorry." she said, a tear sliding down her cheak as she hugged Chino.

He was a bit surpirsed by the hug, and the tears. He wasn't sure what to do. so he put his arms around her. "It's okay." he said. "Everything is okay." he wasn't sure of what else to say.
