"If you don't want me to be annoyed with you, then don't act so immaturely." She responded quietly, her voice cold and angry. Faye wanted to yell at him for being like that to their business partner, but kept her mouth shut. "And fine, let's go, you figure out what we're doing, I don't care." She glared at his back darkly from behind her hair and tapped her foot impatiently on the ground.

"Yea, well, its not like you were conducting youself professionally either, throwing youself at our buisness partner!" he said, his voice sharp and angry. Walking towards the sidewalk, he began hailing a cab, refusing to make eye contact with Faye. Honestly, he knew she hadn't been innapropriate with the guy, but it sure as hell felt like it to him. If he had things his way, she wouldn't have even shaken hands with him. And he had no idea why.

Her jaw dropped open in shock and she let out a biting laugh, storming after him, Faye rarely acted this way, even when she was upset, but she couldn't handle being spoken to like that by him. "So you think tha being polite and having some fun is conducting myself unprofessionally, you think that I was throwing myself at him? Well, you're wrong. I was acting accordingly, and if I wanted to throw myself at someone I wouldn't do it like that." Her voice was levelled and quiet, she stood beside him, waiting for a cab to come, she was breathing a little heavily, trying to keep herself calm. "And why would you threaten him like when he did nothing wrong? Is there something wrong with you?"

"Yes." he said, his voice aggrivated by both confusion and annoyance. Turning to her, he glared down at her as he said, "Of course somethings wrong with me." Mumbling to himself now, he continued, "Who the hell in their right minds has thoughts like this..." Anger still pulsed through his veins at the metion of the man's name from Faye and the way she was defending him. "And he did do something wrong. You're just too fuckin blind to see it.......look, just forget it." he said, turning away from her as a taxi pulled up.

"Forget about it... Fine, if you don't want me to know what's going onthen you don't have to tell me." Faye replied quietly and looked away from him and to the taxi, she sighed and got into the back seat of the vehicle and just sat silently, pouting. She really didn't get why he was so mad about her playfully flirting with a man, her one suspicion was that he was jealous, but she couldn't really wrap her mind around that, since Kreon hated her so much and all.

After a few moments of calm created by the silence of the taxi, Kreon leaned into the side of the car door of his seat, preffering to keep as much distance between the two of them in fear that his body would betray his thoughts. "I hope your hungry..." he said, his voice just slightly higher than a mumble and his body facing foreward, refusing to even turn towards her. He knew he had probably demoted himself from the title of asshole to who know's what in her mind because of the way he'd acted, but Kreon himself had been surprised by his behavior back there. Gripping onto the side of the car door not only because he was still angry but also to steady himself to combat the increasingly eratic driver their cabby was dishing out, Kreon let out a deep sigh, wishing they had gotten a different cabby.

"Mm... Yeah." Faye muttered in response, glaring out of her window, she glanced at Kreon every now and then over her shoulder to see what he was doing and then would look away again. The cab driver turned the vehicle sharply at a turn, and Faye slid from her spot on her side in the back seat and slammed up against Kreon, 'oof'ing softly at the hard contact. She pressed against him hard but not purposefully, the stupid cabby was driving the car so crazily that she wasn't able to move because she kept sliding back into him. "Should've put my seat belt on." Faye muttered under her breath and put her hand on Kreon's shoulder and pushed herself away from him and back over to her side of the back seat. She was blushing in embarassment, feeling stupid for being irresponsible and not putting her belt on.

"Why?" Kreon asked, unable to stop the question from escaping his lips. Jesus, he was gonna make the whole trip unbearable for the both of them if he kept this up. He had loved the fell of her body against his, the way she had seemed to fit against him so perfectly. The moment they had touched, a tingling sensation seared his skin where she had brushed up against him.

She stared at him incrediously, not processing what he had asked immediately. "Uh..." Faye trailed off and blushed some more, looking away for a second, thinking his question over. "If I had put my seat belt on before, I wouldn't have slid over to your side and touched you... I know how disgusted you are with me." The woman responded softly and looked away from him again and out of the window. "I thought you'd already know the answer to that."

Doing a double take, his eyes focused in on hers as he said, "What the hell would make you think that?" He was puzzled by how she had come to such an incorrect conclusion, and wondered if his insane behavior hadn't been enought to tip her off.

"We've worked together for I don't know how long, and have you and I ever been nice to one another? All we do is fight, you hate me, I hate you... Are feelings for each other as you know, have never been nice feelings." She spoke, surprised at the look he was giving her. "But since we've started this job, you've been acting so fucked up... I mean, getting jealous about that business partner and I flirting with one another and even going as far as to threaten him... I don't understand what's going on with you." Faye replied, she had finally come to the conclusion that he had been jealous, if she was wrong she was prepared to be snapped at and called stupid by him.

"At least one things working out for me." he mumbled, referring to the fact that she was obviously oblivious to his feelings towards her. Raising his voice slightly, he said, "Sometime its better that people are ignorant of things....'detrimental' to the greater cause." he said, hoping she got the hint to stop all the questions and leave well enough alone. "All you really need to understand is that disgusting is not one of the words that comes to mind when I think of you." he said, his voice again cold, though not filled with as much sarcasm as usual.

Faye tensed a little at his words and scowled, glaring out of the window in anger. She felt a strong urge to turn and punch Kreon right in the kisser but controlled herself, she swallowed hard and crossed her arms over her chest, not looking at him, pointedly staring out with the window. Faye felt so stupid whenever he spoke like that to her, and for some reason it really hurt, but she pushed the frustration and pain to the back of her mind and replaced it with anger. "Well, isn't it just lovely that you don't find me disgusting, i'm so glad that you don't. If you did i'd be so destroyed." Her tone was filled with biting sarcasm, she felt so angry and she didn't know why, not a person could set her off like Kreon could, there was just something so... infuriating about the man.

"Look." He said, turning to her with an equally enraged expression on his face. "I get it. You don't give a fuck what I think about you. You don't need to keep reminding me." he said, his tone harsh as the sting of her words stung like venom in his chest. Why didn't she just come strait out and tell him she could care less if tomorrow they parted ways and never spoke or saw each other again. The problem was, he couldn't- he couldn't help but care. And he hated himself for it.

She let out a scatching laugh at him and gave Kreon a taunting smirk. "You want me to stop reminding you about it? Why should I? Do you think I care if you're getting annoyed about me constantly bringing it up? Honestly, I quite enjoy it, anything that bothers you brings me fantastic pleasure, so I don't think that i'm going to stop, i'm just going to keep on doing it." Faye replied and her smirk grew wider. "I don't give a fucking rats ass what you think about me!" She laughed in amusement to herself, really enjoying how angry she was making him.
