Gil looked at the belly while the elf did her thing. "Is....Is she okay?" he asked softly, looking afraid. He felt awkward being naked in front of another person, but whatever....If he had to do this to get over to AVeline, he'd do it.

"Oh yes, she's doing very well, the babies are fine too." The woman replied, Aveline heard this and looked over. "Babies? Don't you mean baby, non-plural form?" She asked, eyes narrowed. The elf looked at her and smiled before going back to work, almost finished on Gil, "Nope, you're having to babies. And they're both fine, the knife missed them both, you're incredibly lucky." Faye grinned and kissed the top of Aveline's head before she disappeared, saying she'd be back the next day to pick them up. The purple-haired woman stood up and gave a wave of her hand, the beds conjoining to become one large bed and Gil being dressed in boxers and a soft silk robe to sleep in. "Have a long rest, i'll check on you two in the morning." She said before leaving and shutting the door behind her. Aveline immediately moved over to Gil on the bed, looking him over, touching his leg, "You feel alright?" She asked, immensely concerned for him.

Gil was still in a shock from finding out he was having twins. He stared at her. "We're...having twins...." he mumbled and looked at her, eyes half lidded. He pulled her to him gently, nuzzling her hair. "Are you okay, baby? I can't believe....I thought you were dead....I'm so sorry," he murmured, kssing her head. "I love you...I"m so happy you're alive."

Aveline sighed quietly, kissing his face slowly, running her hands up and down his arms. "Like you could get rid of me that easily." She scoffed, giving a quietly laugh and kissing the underside of his chin. "I love you too, i'm glad you're alright." The woman looked into his good eyes, hers were a little watery, she quickly looked away and wiped her eyes, she had thought she was going to lose the babies, and Gil, and that everyone was going to be killed.

Gil was quiet for a long time after that, his hands on her stomach and her in general. "I can't believe we're having twins..." he mumbled, lowering his eyes to her belly. "God....Twins...."

"You're... Happy, right?" She asked, touching his face and making him look at her, she felt anxious. Having twins was a way bigger deal than having just one child, she chewed her bottom lip, one of her hands on her stomach as the babies started to kick again.

"I'm happy, but....now we have to think of TWO names!" he said, then kissed her. "Oh, god, I"m so happy," he murmured and kissed her again...And again, and then one more time for the hell of it. "I love you so much, and they better be boys."

Aveline slapped his chest, "Stop jinxing it stupid, if you keep saying you want boys they'll be girls and then you'll be all disappointed." She said sternly, tsking at him. Her eyes were on the hands that was on his chest, she gently caressed it, slowly kneading his skin. "Mm, think of two boys names and two girls names that you like and i'll do the same and we'll figure something out once they're born."

"Okay," he agreed softly and kissed her cheek. "Lets get some sleep...Lilly and Clavier are on the ship with teh others and taking care of it....I think it'll be okay..." he murmured softly.

FF- The Birthing of The Twins
Gil sat by Aveline, anxiety on his face. This was it....It was time...to see what she was having! To boys, to boys...He supported Aveline in her birthing process by doing what every man can do- yelling PUSH.
Lilly sat in the room, ready to help Aveline with her birthgiving. Twins....Wow....Twins....
Bryce sat outside with Melody and Izzy and Sander. They were all listening in silently to the horror that awaited.

She was pushing, as hard as possible actually, she looked at Gil, eyes full of pure hatred for him. "Tell me to push... one more time... I will rip out your voice box..." Aveline hissed at him, squeezing his hand incredibly tightly, her chest heaving. The woman was actually doing quite well besides all of the anger and pain, she groaned suddenly and pushed, letting out a hard breath as the first baby was pushed out. It was a boy and it was crying from the lack of warmth. There was no break for Aveline though because the second baby was already on it's way out.
Clavier was in the room too, grimacing, even after seeing babies being birthed so many times it still freaked him out. He stood near Lilly, watching from over her shoulder.
Faye popped up outside the room, she smiled at Bryce happily before looking over at the door, also waiting patiently.

GIl shut his mouth and tried to flee. He looked at Clavier with an questioning expression. Lilly snickered and hugged Clavier. "I did that to you too, didn't i?" she teased Clavier. She went over to help doc with warming the infants up and handed the first one to Gil, who began rejoicing at the sight of their baby boy. "It's a boy, Aveline, no jinxes, it's a boy!"

Aveline nodded quickly after hearing it was a boy and then let out a cry, giving another few hard pushes, her leg muscles flexing at the effort of it all. Her nails dug into the floor beneath her and she sheethed, she would never have children again, ever. After another minute or two the next baby came out, crying as well, this time it was a girl. Clavier almost applauded Aveline for all of her efforts but stopped himself and just watched Lilly help the doctor. He went over and looked at the baby in Gils arms, the baby looked up at him, its eyes were a beautiful gold. "Woah..."

Lilly held the baby girl, griinning. "It's a girl!" she said, smiling. Gil was so absorbed in the moment. "I have kids!" he cheered. "Good job, baby," he cheered her on while the Doc helped her finish up what she needed to do.

She finished up with the whole after birth thing quickly and once that was over she just relaxed, breathing heavily for a couple of moments. Aveline's exhaustion disappeared when she remembered that these were her first kids, her eyes widened and she looked up at Gil and then at Lilly. "Can I see them?" She asked, eyes wide and curious. Clavier snorted and laughed, "Maybe you should go to your room before you start relaxing..." He suggested, grinning from ear to ear. Aveline slowly nodded, chewing on her bottom lip anxiously.
