His large hand took hold of hers, he leaned down and kissed it before standing straight again and releasing her hand. "Will you be able to remember my address, or should I find some paper to write it down?" Jareth glared at the person that cut in front of Melody, finding it rude.

Melody pulled out a pen. "I can write it on my hand for now," she answered, shrugging and watching the line more cautiously. They were almost out of spicy bread.

Jareth nodded slightly and told her his address, he looked around the bakery and then licked his lips again, red eyes flashing. "I've got to be on my way now, but if you hear any news of Aveline coming around then come and find me." He bowed deeply and then turned to leave.

Melody watched him go, cheeks red. She paid for her bun and then was off to her house, thinking about JAreth the whole way home. She was in a total daze, completely on air...Too bad he had been all business. Well, hello Earth, it's nice to see you again. She sighed and put the groceries away in the house and looked at Izzy. She was shining that stupid pendent again. "Why do you keep that toy anyways?" "It's not a toy..." Izzy mumbled. "And that guy will be back in your life." Melody blinked. "You're sharing today...Nice," she said and went up to her room.

FF - One Week Later
Jareth was sitting in his home, he lived high up in a house attacked the side of the mountain that the port had been built onto. His house was surrounded by tropical flowers and trees and was quite detached from his neighbours. The doors to his house were simple shutters, as were his windows, there was a porch that went all around the house and the roof slanted down over it, it was a very exotic styled house, classy, and obviously expensive. The man had all of the doors and windows open, allowing the warm breeze to run through it, he sat in his living room on his couch which was sunken down into the floor, drinking an iced beverage, one leg crossed over the other.

Melody was coming up to the house- well, running. She had been so thrilled to hear her relatives were returning because now she could see the handsome aristocrat and his HOLY! Huge house. She slowed down as she neared his door, looking around with wide eyes. Wow...this was so fancy and nice...She hoped he wouldn't be insulted by their shabby cottage. She knocked on the front door. Melody was wearing her nicest clothes that day, trying to be impressive. Her nicest clothes still weren't fancy or rich though, but they did accentuate her figure more than normal.

He stood up, setting down his drink, walking up the couple of steps it took to get to the regular ground flooring, he walked from the living room to the main entrance that connected to his living room and his dinning area and saw her standing there in his wide open doorway. "Melody." Jareth greeted, remembering her name, he walked over on his bare feet, he felt excitement run through him but he kept his cool. "How have you been?"

Melody felt her cheeks get warm, and she grinned shyly. She spoke in a way that contradicted her expression. "I've been dandy, and yourself?" she asked, looking up at him with her beautiful amethysts. "I have great news!"

"I've been fine, and what is this news?" Jareth asked as he gestured for her to come in. He needed to use his manners and make her feel comfortable, he wanted her to trust him so she'd tell him more about Aveline. "Can I get you anything to drink?"

Melody blinked. She looked at her shoes, which were a bit dirty. She kicked them off and left them on the porch. "I'm okay, thanks," she answered and walked into his home. "You sure have a big home..."

Jareth showed her to the sitting area, lead her down the small stairs and gestured for her to take a seat while he sat himself in his same spot and grabbed his drink again. "You like it?" He asked her curiously as he unbuttoned his white cotton shirt, he felt a little hot.

Melody was about to answer when her eyes were averted to his perfect, muscular chest under that white shirt. Her amethysts were glued there, and she was having trouble finding words. Damn, he was so attractive! God...."Oh...Um...Yes, your house is nice...." she said, staring at the strip of chest. She didn't know how to look away, and she was smiling in a goofy way to make the matter worse. How could she embarrass herself even more!?

"Thank you, my parents gave it to me, I--... Melody?" He questioned, noticing her staring at him, his head tilted to the side and he gazed at her with his emotionless eyes. "Melody, that isn't very polite." Jareth commented, taking a sip of his drink slowly, watching him from over the rim of his glass. "You had news for me, did you not?"

Melody turned red and hid her face in her hands, then found her voice. "Oh, uh, my Aunt Aveline is visiting here in a few days. So if you wanted to come on down, feel free too...And sorry! I didn't mean to stare but unbuttoning your shirt in front of a teenaged girl when you look....well, like you, it's hard not to stare!" she apologized and explained, unashamed. "I mean, you're really pretty, and hot, and...just wow!" She peaked through her fingers, waiting to be laughed at. She was smiling at herself though.

So Aveline was coming around in a couple of days was she? That was perfect. "Melody, you should know how to controlyourself around a man." Jareth said and absently rubbed his chest as he thought to himself. "When speaking of someone, don't use the word 'hot' it's rude. 'Pretty' means reasonable, you think that I am reasonably good-looking?" He questioned, looking straight at her, watching her being flustered, she'd do good in front of some of the older gentleman in high society, he knew that much.
