Karin nodded and held up the items from earlier. "Mom wanted to know if you wanted 'em back." she explained. The stories had stopped, and she felt eyes digging into her spine. She permitted herself to look his form over, and mentally grinned. I live next to a hot guy! Too bad a guy like him would never like a girl like me. she thought.

"Hm. I'll take the lemons but you can keep the sugar, I have a lot of it and I didn't really need that package." Killian replied, he looked over Karin and at the other teenagers and gave them a cold yet polite smile, then looked down at the girl again. "You know, maybe you should listen to those other kids... You'll get along with them better." He stated slowly to her, smirking.

Karin looked at them, and they turned quickly. She let him take the lemons from her hand and keep the sugar. "Mm...I don't know if I would or not...I'll only be here for a year or so until I get into a college..." she mumbled.

"Oh. Don't worry, there rather smart actually. You should really beleive them though, some of those things they say might be true." Killian stated to her in a lower tone of voice, he then became normal again. "Well then, i'll see again sometime." Killian stated and then stepped back and gave her a nod before closing the door.

Karin stared in awe at the door for a moment, then turned to leave. The kids looked at her. "Hey, wanna stick around for some ghost stories?" "No." she was quick to answer and quickly jotted past them. A person jumped out from a bush in front of her, and she screamed. It was, of course, her brother. "You jerk!" she yelled, punched him, and ran to the cottage with a full blush on her cheeks and laughter behind her.

Killian sighed and waited for a while until she was inside then came out of his house and locked the door, he walked over to his white thunder bird and got in. Turning on some Motley Crue and then pulling out of the drive way slowly, making sure not to hit any of the kids, even though he wanted to, he then speeded away.

A few Days Later
Karin sat in the woods. It was summer vacation after all, then she'd be in her senior year at the local high school with a population of 323, soon to be 325, kids. She was sitting by a small babbling creek that no one seemed to come by on a frequent basis. She was writing her story there. After a few moments, she set it down and laid back on the warm rock she was on. Here I sit, alone and doomed, As my fate creeps in my room. No one hears me, no one sees, no one smell the blood that bleeds. she rhymed in her head. She wrote a lot of dark poems for someone who was normally happy. But she had been depressed a lot recently. "Aren't the other twins supposed to know this like in movies?" she thought aloud, glaring at the happy brook beside her and throwing a stick at it. She wanted to cry again.

Killian had come back the next morning and then began to quietly watch Karin, she was interesting to him, polite when she had to be but looked rather lonely. He was drawn very close to her now, he wanted to have her for his and only his. Today he had follwed her to a quiet and peaceful creek, he had taken a seat in a tree, covered by the leaves and branches. He was very well hidden at the moment. Killian's eyes were glued to her, how she moved what she did. She enjoys writing, how very wonderful. He thought to himself quietly. Listening to the words leaving her lips his head cocked to the side curiously.

Karin sat up and stood, stretching. It's been a few days since I've been sent over to Killian's house... she noted absently and looked around the area she was in absently. A soft breeze blew through and caused her too look up at the trees. She didn't see Killian there, but was looking right at him. Then she looked away at the sound of footsteps. The local kids she'd seen around frequently were coming up. "Hey!" The brown-haired boy she'd learned to be known as Josh. The blonde girl was Rosie. A few others were behind them, 2 boys and another girl. "Hi." she answered dully, smiling halfly at them. "Whatcha doing up here, alone? Aren't you scared ol' Kill-agin isn't going to come up here and kill you?" Josh asked. Kill-agin was Killian's nickname. Karin rolled her eyes and shook her head. "No. He hasn't done anything to make me scared of him." she answered. The group of kids seemed amazed by her answer. "But he doesn't leave his house...Doesn't that bug you?" "No. I didn't leave the library, according to mom and Val, when I lived in town and they had a decent one." Josh snorted. "That's a library though. A public place." "A house is a public place if you make it one. Otherwise it is just a place for one's own privacy to feel secure in." Karin stated. Josh scowled, not winnign ehr over to their side.

He listened to this and immediatly frowned in distaste. I leave my house all of the time actually. You kids are just to idiotic to observe me do so. And she... hm. She doesn't know the meanng of hurt or how it feels to be so lonely it hurts and burns at your mind all night... Or the feeling of wanting to kill people, how insane you go and how much hatred is put on you. Killian thought to himself, he stood up on the tree branch and climbed up higher and went to the other side, he walked along a branch and began to jump from tree to tree so he wouldn't get caught there.

Josh offered her the choice to come with them to some cave uphill, and she declined immedietely. As they walked past, she heard one of the girls call her a weirdo. She hadn't made any friends yet, whereas Valentine was fitting right in. Her face turned emotionless and she trudged downhill, letting her tears fall. She stopped a few feet before reaching the road, leaning against a tree and clutching the notebook she wrote her thoughts, her stories and poems, anything she wanted in. Maybe mom will...No...She said not for a week or so... she thought, wipping her eyes and staring into space. She wasn't going to move until she had her emotions under control again.

He sat at home again, in his usual spot in the kitchen in his chair, staring out the window at the tree that was there along with the birds. None had died lately, but he had picked up the other one that was dead and threw it in the trashcan. Killian sighed to himself, rubbing his head, he was going to go and get into that house tonight, if he didn't he'd be pissed off with himself.

Karin went up and went up to her room. Her mom and dad were out exploring their new hometown, and Val was...somewhere. She laid on her bed and stared blankly at her ceiling, sighing. After a few moments, she sat up and finished unpacking and fixed her room up. She was a very neat person. She hated not knowing where something was.
Night soon fell. Her parents brought home pizza for dinner. Karin only ate a few slices. SHe didn't mind pizza. But she only liked to eat it on occassion. Her mom used to know that. Aaron liked pizza a lot, like Valentine. Karin liked Chinese food more. She went upstairs and showered, brushed her teeth, and went to bed early. She curled in a ball and cried herself to sleep. Once fully asleep, she slept peacefully.

Killian sat up and waited for everyone in that house to fall asleep. He was so quiet even a spirit wouldn't falter in there sleep. Once everyone was asleep he walked out of his house, carrying a few choice items in one hand. He moved over to the wall of the house and used the tree to climb up to the top floor, he got in through a window. It just so happened to be the paresnts room, quietly he left the room and walked down the hall and found Karin's room. Once in there he walked over to a sidetable and set down a red rose down on it. Around the middle of the roses's stem was a unused bandage, it gave it the more intimadating feel. Smirking he walked over to Karin's sleeping form, leaning over he got a kiss and then got out of there quickly and silently. When he got home he went to sleep.

Karin woke the next morning and turned and looked at the side table, and sat up, confused. "Huh?" she mumbled, reaching over and picked up the red rose. There was a bandage around it, which was odd to her.
She dressed and went downstairs, carrying the rose with her and her notebook. "Did one of you leave me a rose?" she asked over her cereal. Valentine looked at it with an arched eyebrow, and sniffed it. He shrugged. Everyone else shook their heads. No one left it in my room? How'd it get in there? she wondered and put her dishes in teh sink and grabbed a soda and walked out, carrying the rose with her and sniffing it, a slight blush on her cheeks and a grin on her face. I wonder how it got in my room... she thought, passing Killian's house.
