((Lol, nice, Merle. Nice.))
She woke up when her cell phone rang about an hour later. She grumbled and stumbled to answer it, only to grunt in irritation. "Stupid...work," she muttered and answered. "Hello....I am working tomorrow...Okay, I can do that," she said and hung up. Overtime. She went to her sheets and brought them inside, and then went to clean up the food, paying no attention to the bird this time.

((He's a real class act sometimes))
Merle mentally frowned when she ignored him after her lovely little nap. He ruffled his feathers in irritation and snapped his beak at her once, though he wasn't sure she would notice, then flew off now that she'd become boring again.

((that's okay, Joseph does the same lol -_-))
Emily peered out to see if her bird was still there. "Huh. Must've flown away." She shrugged and reached for her door, her other hand on her tank top, slowly riding it up until the door shut. She was going to shower. Her friend had texted her sometime during her nap as well (her phone doesn't do anything for text messages though) and asked her to come to a party tonight. She had agreed to be polite.

((creeperssss))
Merle landed on the fence of a dark, dismal looking house on the outskirts of town. He let out a shriek then flew in through one of the open windows on the top floor of the house. Shifting once inside he brushed his clothes off then went off to find Shelia. She'd be able to find him some entertainment for the rest of the evening.

((Joseph: hey. when a lady has lovely endowments, a gentleman must look to assure her they are indeed very lovely )) It was about eight at night. Emily had showed up at her friends house in her 'party clothes' but was quickly changed. Emily did not protest. They arrived to the party at nine- it was at a popular club. Her friend danced with Emily in the corner a little before wandering off. Emily was in a dress that went just above her knees and some heals. Her hair had been lightly curled and make up had been applied. She felt very exposed and was reluctant to leave the corner- she hated that guys looked at her chest-muffins instead of at her face. It was annoying. But she wanted a drink to calm herself and maybe socialize a bit...It had been awhile since she'd dated. She stepped into the light and headed across the bar, attracting the attention of several men- and one bought her a drink. She chatted with him slowly, drinking between talking. Her cheeks became flushed which seemed to encourage the man- he found her drunken babble charming. "And that's what I'm working on," she was saying with a big grin. "It's really fun, writing...Tee..." He laughed and looked her over, but his eyes lingered somewhere. Emily sighed and began to move away- and he too left, seeing she was nothing but some dreamer.

((Psh. Lame excuse for being a CREEPER. =P ))
At about nine in the evening, Merle and Shelia walked into the club. Shelia was a good little pet to have, she could charm her way into anywhere. The tall vampiress was latched onto Merle's arm and smiling like she was the luckiest girl in the world. She was dressed in a skanky little red dress. Merle was dressed a little nicer. Shelia went to scope out dinner while Merle leaned against a wall and watched the crowd.

((Psh Posh. You'd be flattered if I looked too. >: D))
Emily was walking through the crowd again slowly. She had had a second drink and was buzzing pretty badly- not drunk yet, but one more would do it. She danced a little bit as she walked but finally got to the back near an open door. "Cool air..." she breathed and sighed dreamily. This was when she spotted Merle and froze. If the color could drain from her cheeks, it would. "...I think I have a stalker," she chirped to herself and walked over to him. "Hello there, Coffee-Shop Starer. Whatcha doin' here? Do you know the party hoster?" She asked, wanting to get to the bottom of what was going on. Her expression was a mix between stern and, well, drunk amusement. It was kinda cute.

((Hahahahahaha Yeah, okay, as if I'd let you see))
Merle raised an eyebrow at her as she walked over and chuckled lightly at the look on her face. "Hello Miss Not Helpful. I'm here with a friend." he assured her in a smooth voice, mentally pleased that he didn't have to be a bird to get her to talk to him, even if was just tipsy/drunk ramblings. "I thought you said you were boring, do boring people usually go to club parties?"

"Yes," she said and made the 'gotcha' hand movement. "Boring people are usually very polite- just not talkative. Also you were in my personal bubble...I don't like bubbles...No wait, I don't like my bubble being invaded by your bubble." She nodded to herself, sure of it.

"You have a pretty big bubble then, I was on the opposite side of the table from you." he pointed out as he watched her. "I think boring people should be less polite and more talkative. They still wouldn't be interesting, but it would be an impovement."

"Well you got that! Just get 'em drunk!" she said and giggled with a shake of her head. "Ah....I don't like you very much...You're weird."

Merle couldn't help but laugh at her. "I'm weird!? You refuse to talk to me how on earth could you possibly think that I'm the weird one?" he asked

"Cause you stare at people. It's creepy!" she said and pouted. "I don't like being watched, it bothers me." Emily looked around the party and spotted her friend. "She likes to be watched, go watch her!"

"I wasn't staring at you, I was merely observing you. There is a big difference. You could have told me to stop watching you but being the boring person you are you let me watch you without a word of protest." Merle's eyes followed her finger and he frowned a bit and looked back at Emily. "I don't want to watch your friend."

Emily scowled. "But I'm boring! She's not, she's all about partying and...sex and...alcohol and what not," she babbled while flailing the arm that was pointing at her. She dropped it after a momentl. "I need to sit down."
