Cahira followed behind, though she hated the fact she was listening to someone thaty she could kill in an instant if she felt like it. She frowned at the thought of Lilly's pack actually keeping Lilly alive when she had no skill. Then again, the more the merrier or whatever it was humans liked to say. "Use your nose." Cahira could smell the city, the traffic, the modern life, it was revolting.

Lilly sighed and rolled her eyes. She need to get to a city- not the city. The city was the one her pack worked in. "Tell me if you smell or hear a car since you are apparently a better hunter than I am," she said with a grunt and kept a lookout. She paused and rolled her stalkings down and hitched her skirt up a bit, showing the legs off. She had heard looking good could help get anything outside the woosd.

Cahira looked at Lilly and tilted her head, not understanding what her elder was trying to succeed in doing. She shrugged it off and sniffed a little and then hummed, "A car is coming from down the road, it'll be here soon." Her sense of smell wasn't the only thing she had going for her.

Lilly slowed and stuck her thumb out, looking around for the car. She heard it a few moments later and began walking with her hips swaying a bit. The car slowed and finally stopped. It was an older man driving, and he asked if they needed a ride. "Yes please, anywhere," she answered and motioned to Cahira. "She lost her shoes, is that okay?"
"Oh, sure," the man answered and unlocked the doors. Lilly got in and waited for Cahira to enter as well.

Cahira stared at the man, cautious, weary, and completely suspicious of him. She glanced at Lilly, giving her a glare before getting into the vehicle and shutting the door behind herself. She was not pleased with this, she didn't like being a strange contraption with a man and woman she didn't know. The instinct to kill was beginning to come back, but she would only answer to it if she were in danger. So, she watched the man, staring at him intensely.

The man began to drive and chatted Lilly up. Lilly was polite when she spoke, but weary. Every so often the man would touch her knee, but go no farther. She decided that this was okay- it could have been worse. When they got to the city about two hours later, Lilly asked if he wanted anything in compensation, and he replied gas money. She said she had...It went on for a few moments before he convinced her thirty dollars was perfectly acceptable. She handed it over and got out, thanking him once more.
THey were in a city now. She looked around curiously, wondering where to go next. She looked at Cahira as well. "Lets go find a...uh...free...books, where was that-" she mumbled and pulled out a guide from her backpack. "Library. Lets go find a library."

"You... Should not allow people to touch you." Cahira spoke suddenly, giving Lilly a look of shameless disapproval. "You have no preservation instincts it seems, you're very stupid and trusting ." Even though she knew that lilly had been cautious it still wasn't enough. If that man had even thought of touching Cahira she would have taken his hand clean off.

Lilly looked at Cahira with a frown. "I know. But he might have kicked us out, and what he was doing wasn't awful...You can't fight off everyone, Cahira," she murmured sadly. "Sometimes you have to agree to something even if you don't want to. It could have been much worse- a little touch on the knee isn't anything to worry about." She had pulled her skirt down awhile ago and her stockings up. "Like you said, I'm not strong like you," she added and turned away, heading down a street. SHe asked around but eventually found her way to the library. "C'mon, lets go!"

Cahira followed, staying close to Lilly and standing very straight, her eyes had a dangeorus look in them. "Don't allow this place to crush you." She muttered to the other girl softly, her voice quiet but still a bit edgy. No matter what lilly said, everyone was an enemy, and she would never submit to anyone that didn't have as much strength as she did.

Lilly walked through the library slowly, looking around until she saw the word 'atlas' on a few books. She pulled a few off and sat down, looking through them at places that were around the world. "It won't," she told Cahira softly and read through a few pages. Finally she saw somewhere that seemed suitable for them. "How about here?" she asked and pointed to the place, explaining about the woods, their inhabitants, and the cities around there.

Cahira glanced at Lilly, looking bored but also apprehensive. "Where ever you decide to go, I will follow." She answered without hesitation. It seemed Lilly was her new pack mate in a way, and since the other girl was older- though weaker -she would follow and protect to the best of her abilities.

"...Alright?" she said slowly, looking at her. "...It feels like your submitting to me...I thought you hated my pack," she teased suddenly but shut up. "If you don't want to do something, say so. We're comrads now, okay?" She nodded to herself and wrote down the place and went to find out how to get there, the cost, everything. WHen she came back to Cahira, she sighed. "Oh joy...we're gonna have fun getting there," she mumbled dryly. On foot, it was about a month away on foot. She had a list with her of what to buy, potentially. They could find food easily, and water, so that was off. Clothes weren't a necessity, so that was off too...but shoes would be needed. Sleeping bags. A tent. Some other small things- maps, first aid kit, money. SHe sighed. "We'll need to get a job in the city for a little while, or, at least, I will...I have some money and we saw a place on the way here that rents rooms for 9 dollars a night. We can stay a few nights until we cna get everything we absolutely need."

Her eyes narrowed at the words Lilly had decided to use but she said nothing. How annoying it was to here someone say such things to the likes of her. She watched the woman leave and when she returned she straightened a little bit. "You... How will you get a job? Do you know anything of the city?" Cahira cocked her head to the side, openly mocking Lilly. "What are your trivial, human skills?"

"Well, at the very least, I can clean," she answered. "So I suppose I could work at the motel as a maid for a few weeks, get some cash, and maybe in return they'll give us a free place to stay. I can cook a little too, but nothing fancy, just boiling since...well, sometimes we had to for medicinal reasons...Can you do anything?" Lilly motioned for her to follow her so they could get a room quick.

Cahira stood, walking after Lilly at a slight distance. "I can fight, hunt, think up attack strategies..." All she knew how to do revolved around murdering things, that's all she'd been taught actually, besides some basic reading, but she could write very well also. That would do no good for them though. "I must... learn something?" She asked, sounding uncertain.
